Report: Backstage update on WWE’s plans for Royce Keys

A new report from Fightful Select has shed some light on Royce Keys following his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble.

Keys, who signed a multi-year deal with the company after a run in AEW as Powerhouse Hobbs, has not been on TV since his debut aside from promotional packages and clips from his appearance on What’s Your Story With Stephanie McMahon.

It was noted that specific creative plans were not provided, but during negotiations for his WWE deal the former AEW World Trios Champion was adamant that he be on the main roster as opposed to NXT.

Keys was recently announced for WWE 2K26 and has been traveling to TV weekly and working dark matches.

Additional projects have been filmed with Keys, but it is unknown what those are as of this writing.
