According to a new report from Fightful Select, Santos Escobar is expected to be out of action until the late summer. Escobar recently underwent surgery for a torn tricep.
The 41-year old Escobar last wrestled at AAA’s Rey De Reyes 2026 event back on March 14. While holding his left arm, Escobar said Hijo de Wagner Jr messed with his livelihood and his legacy and then challenged Wagner Jr to a future match.
Escobar lost a four-way match against OG El Grande Americano, Americano II and LA Parka in the finals of the Rey de Reyes tournament, after interference from Wagner Jr.
