NYC preschool director reportedly embezzled tuition for WWE tickets, luxuries

The head of a German immersion preschool in Brooklyn was arrested for embezzling nearly $3 million in tuition, according to the New York Post.

Per the federal indictment released on the case, Murielle Misczak was found to have spent at least $350,000 of the funds on tickets to WWE events, some of which she bragged about on Instagram.

She is accused of funneling a total of $2.75 million in tuition fees to her own bank account for “her own personal use and benefit” between January 2022 and October 2025.

A lawsuit filed against Misczak in December 2025 notes that she allegedly took frequent trips and vacations across the country, enjoying “plush resorts, VIP access to WWE events, and first class amenities.”

It is unclear how Misczak was discovered, but the suit further notes that the school’s principal learned about the scheme and was forced to use her own personal savings to meet the school’s payroll and operational obligations.

Misczak is charged with wire fraud, money laundering, and “engaging in monetary transactions in criminally derived property.”
