More details on wrestlers working two WWE events

As reported on earlier, WWE had Ryback, Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) and all members of The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) work both the 12/26 WWE live events in Detroit and Chicago the same day.

After they worked the opening match in Detroit, they rushed for a flight to Chicago and were delayed due to bad weather. This forced WWE to stall the show in Chicago including having Wade Barrett wrestle three times.

The way it played out was Barrett worked a triple threat with Kofi Kingston and Alberto Del Rio. When they began setting up the Steel Cage for Big Show vs. Sheamus, they got word the flight was delayed and took down the cage. Barrett then came back out and challenged Kingston to a match. Barrett then continued to stall calling anyone out from the back and had a match with Ted DiBiase. They also had Big Show vs. Sheamus run a bit longer to give Ryback, Kane, Bryan and The Shield time to arrive. It was described as being very close as they had Matt Striker announce to the audience that one match was still remaining following Big Show vs. Sheamus.
