Take-Two deal with WWE Games not official, HD upgrades

New report says Take-Two deal with WWE games not official

The story by Bloomberg on Wednesday stating that Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. had officially acquired the WWE video game license from THQ is not completely accurate according to a new report by Mike Johnson. A bankruptcy court hearing is set for 2/19 where THQ will have the court’s permission to sever the current contract with WWE and Yukes. If the court agrees then WWE and Yukes will move forward with development of “WWE ’14” with Take-Two. This is why WWE has yet to officially announce the deal.
