Sean Waltman injured at Jerry Lynn retirement show

Mike Johnson is reporting that during this past weekend’s Jerry Lynn retirement show in Minnesota, Sean Waltman suffered a very serious injury. In an attempt to hit a Bronco Buster, Waltman tore the muscles in his posterior due to hitting the turnbuckles at a weird angle. This caused Waltman to bleed very heavily from his posterior. Waltman was able to finish the match and did a speech afterwards that praised Lynn. Waltman was rushed to the hospital from the show and had surgery yesterday to repair the damage.

On Twitter, Waltman’s former girlfriend Alicia Webb (Ryan Shamrock in WWE) wrote the following:

“We don’t know if there is a medical term for it…but he did a bronco buster last night that literally ripped his ass apart! :-/ Lost a lot of blood! Had surgery this morning and is on the road to recovery! Believe it or not..this has happened to him once before! #wrestling #seanwaltman #xpac @therealxpac #getwellsoonxpac”

Wrestleview sends its well wishes to Waltman on a speedy recovery.
