The first week of “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” starring WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson pulled in $51,707,000 domestically at the box office this weekend. The film drew an additional $80,300,000 overseas bringing the weekend total to $132,007,000.
As reported on earlier, Johnson sent out a tweets celebrating the big opening noting it was one of the biggest opens for a film over Easter weekend and the biggest box office opening of 2013.
