Smith James, a Northeast based independent wrestler, announced on Twitter that he has signed a new developmental deal with WWE. James gave credit to current TNA commentator Taz for helping him in his career by attending his finishing school dojo. WWE has also signed Matt Bennett to a developmental deal.
The next 2 months will be my last indy shows for the foreseeable future (hopefully longer) as I was offered a WWE developmental contract.
