WWE commentator John “Bradshaw” Layfield is featuring photos and details on the Ron Simmons Appreciation Night that took place on Saturday in Tallahassee, Florida at a WWE live event. JBL talked in detail about the night and what Simmons means to him.
“Tonight was just as big to me, the ‘Ron Simmons Day’ in Tallahassee. Ron’s honors are ridiculous-3x All American, runner up for Heisman Trophy, Orange Bowl HOF, College Football HOF, Jersey retired and recognized as one of greatest college football players of all time. Ron has meant so much more to me though, he was best man at my wedding and has been my best friend almost since the day we met. He’s a perfect example to our kids in Bermuda-a guy who grew up without much to become a legend. And is still making a difference in people’s lives, he has mine.”
