Lillian Garcia working with Susan G. Komen foundation

The following press release was issued today:

WWE host & recording artist Lilian Garcia has cleaned out her glamorous closet to raise money for Susan G. Komen®. Donated items include one-of-a-kind pieces that she has worn in the ring on several WWE TV shows, to red carpet events, and during performances. Lilian’s kick-ass auction goes live on eBay December 9th at 10am PST.

Susan G. Komen is very dear to my heart because my mom is a breast cancer survivor. It is with great honor that I help educate women around the world about the importance of early screening. Early detection and early treatment are our best defense against this disease,” says Lilian. “We WILL win the fight, we WILL rise above cancer!”

The auction features pieces worn to red carpet events and on TV shows, as styled by Lilian’s personal stylist Ali Levine. Some pieces up for grabs include a form-fitting dress by Bebe that Lilian wore during a WWE photoshoot and Live TV event, a sequined dress she wore on the Red Carpet of the THQ-Saints Row: The Third video game launch party in 2011, and a dress worn to the LOPen Celebrity Golf Event benefiting the Akron’s Children’s Hospital.

“Lilian’s efforts are a huge help in educating women about this disease and raising funds that will save lives,” said Director of Corporate Relations, Carrie Glasscock. “We’re grateful for Lilian’s support and hope that women and men will take action for themselves by learning about this disease and getting their recommended screenings.”

Susan G. Komen is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
