Lots of speculation among the MMA and pro wrestling media heading into the weekend regarding Brock Lesnar reportedly attending UFC 168 on Saturday in Las Vegas. The card, which will be headlined by a huge rematch between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva for the UFC Middlweight Title and Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate, has made an already busy week even busier with the Lesnar speculation.
UFC President Dana White was asked about the rumors to which he responded, “I honestly don’t know. Honestly, I don’t know.” It was noted in a report by MMA Fighting that White was smiling when answering the question and reiterated his point when a member of the media asked how serious he was from the audience.
Ariel Helwani is reporting that sources close to Lesnar don’t believe he has any interest in coming out of retirement to make a return to the UFC. Lesnar remains under contract with WWE and is expected to get involved as early as the Royal Rumble in January.
