Heath Slater is currently on a leave of absence dealing with personal matters. This explains why Slater hasn’t been used in recent weeks on WWE television and on the house show loops (Ricardo Rodriguez had taken his place at events following Christmas this past weekend). Slater is expected to return shortly after the new year.
