EpicTimes Continues To Expand Its Media Reach to Become the Go-To Source for Solution Based News, Content and Opinion
LAS VEGAS, October 27, 2014 – EpicTimes, a Digital News Network for the vast New American Middle, founded by Jerry Doyle and run by Elaine Kunda, announced today the launch of their robust new platform and the addition of Layfield & Cole to their contributor lineup. The enhanced site provides EpicTimes growing line-up of contributors a one-stop shop where all their digital touch points are aggregated; including audio, video, social media, articles, blogs, photo-galleries, and more, to engage their audience in one easy to use interface.
“My vision for EpicTimes was and is to continue to build a destination for the 80% of the country that is woefully underserved by the existing left/right paradigm. We’ve known for too long what the problems are. It’s way past time to bring on the solutions! I’m passionate about telling the real story, giving the people real information and cutting through the rhetoric that exists in the media today.” said Doyle, who is top 10 Talk Radio Hosts in the country. “It’s time to bring like-minded individuals together and tackle the real issues, not what the crony crapitalists, banker and sell out politicians think is best for us.”
“We’ve been leveraging Jerry’s audience through social media and his syndicated radio show to build the EpicTimes community and are very excited to bring Layfield & Cole to the Network. Their voice and style, is exactly in-line with the EpicTimes vision.” Said CEO Elaine Kunda, who has spent the better part of her career building out digital media companies. “I believe we are at the forefront of grassroots change in both the media and politics, EpicTimes is providing a platform for those whose only agenda is truth.”
Television and radio personalities John Layfield (aka John Bradshaw Layfield or JBL) and Michael Cole are best know for their work on WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown, but have extensive experience covering news, business and sports.
“We’re excited to be a part of the EpicTimes network”, said Layfield and Cole. “It mirrors what we are all about…no political agendas, just the facts, some pointed opinions and an opportunity to offer solutions to make the world a better place. We are proud to share Jerry’s vision, we’re humbled he has put faith in us to help grow his site, and we are excited to offer podcasts, short form radio, and blogs that will feature “honest front porch talk from two guys who can’t stand politicians, want the world to be a better place and hope to help you get through your week with all the news you need to know”.
Layfield & Cole are joined by other big name contributors like; Health & Wellness Expert, Robert Scott Bell; Dr Richard Ebeling, Professor of Ethics at The Citadel; Anita Finlay, Author, Commentator and Actress; Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer (ret), and Bob Long, the #1 Automobile Radio Personality.
EpicTimes.com: Launched in September 2013, EpicTimes.com strives to facilitate healthy discussion from a team of contributors who care more about fixing problems than pointing fingers. Our thought leaders are here to start the conversation, participate in civil debate, offer their perspective, and encourage visitors to chime in – all while keeping them entertained! At EpicTimes we care more about Right vs Wrong and less about Left vs Right. We believe that the majority of Americans share our perspective and are tired of the permanent political class, the special interest lobbyists, the crony capitalists and the Hollywood messaging machine. We’re more alike than the political-class wants us to believe we are and because of that we have more power than we recognize we do.
Jerry Doyle: A former investment banker, actor and radio personality, Jerry Doyle gained notoriety in the role of Michael Garibaldi on the Emmy Award-winning sci-fi television series “Babylon 5.” While taking a hiatus from acting in 2000, Doyle ran for the U.S. House of Representatives for California’s 24th District. Though he won the primary to become the Republican Congressional nominee for the seat, he lost in the November election. Running for office increased Doyle’s passion for politics and he launched “The Jerry Doyle Show,” a mix of politics, pop culture and current events shortly thereafter. Doyle currently balances his nationally syndicated radio career with his passion for solutions as the Founder of EpicTimes.
