Rusev appears to have suffered some kind of an ankle injury during a match against Ryback taped to air on tomorrow night’s 5/28 WWE Smackdown on Syfy. According to multiple wrestling media reports, Rusev was spotted at the airport in Philadelphia with his ankle in a brace holding crutches while being wheeled through the airport in a wheelchair.
WWE has yet to officially comment on the injury as of Wednesday evening.
