According to the latest Key Performance Indicators released by WWE, WWE Battleground on 7/19 headlined by Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship drew an early estimate of 76,000 buys on traditional Pay Per View. The breakdown was 24,000 buys domestic and 52,000 buys international.
Last year’s Battleground PPV, headlined by John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, drew 99,000 buys.
As always, these buys only factor in purchases on traditional PPV and not the WWE Network.
