Titus O’Neil on Hulk Hogan, correction to original AP story

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is featuring an interview with WWE star Titus O’Neil where he addresses WWE firing Hulk Hogan stemming from racial comments leaked from Hogan’s sex tape that is involved in an ongoing lawsuit between Hogan and Gawker.

“It’s a tough situation for me to talk about. It’s been dealt with by the company, but for me, I’ve heard that type of talk from people who are way different than Hulk Hogan. He made a mistake, he’s paying for it, and it’s not my call to say what he is or he is not. I just try to live my life without having to worry about anybody calling me those names.”

Regarding Hogan’s current lawsuit, the Associated Press issued a correction to its own story over the weekend noting that it “reported erroneously” that a judge had ruled on a motion filed last Thursday by various media companies. The judge actually ended up ruling on motions made by the media filed earlier in the summer. Based on the update, all FBI records involving the sex tape can only be viewed by lawyers for Hogan and Gawker.
