Titus O’Neil’s suspension from WWE over “unprofessional conduct” will now only last an estimated 60 days according to multiple wrestling media reports on Wednesday night.
Early reports had estimated that O’Neil’s suspension would last around 90 days. The story was picked up by many mainstream outlets and was a top trending topic on Facebook on Wednesday stemming from an incident at the close of the RAW taping on Monday in Seattle where WWE Chairman Vince McMahon didn’t take kindly to O’Neil grabbing his arm in a playful manner. He was informed of the suspension on Tuesday in Portland prior to the Smackdown tapings and was sent home. O’Neil is still expected to miss WrestleMania 32.
Former WWE star Dave Bautista gave his thoughts on the situation via Twitter when asked if he could do something about the situation that was made public earlier today.
“I did something better! I called @TitusONeilWWE and told him to ask to be released. #onelife”
