Bryan Danielson on signing with WWE

Bryan Danielson, who just agreed to a contract with WWE, started his farewell tour on the independent scene this past Friday in Reseda, CA for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Danielson wreslted former WWE star Brian Kendrick and lost in what was Kendrick’s first post-WWE appearance. PWInsider is reporting that after the match Danielson got on the mic and told the audience that he wished he could wrestle on the independent scene for the rest of his life, but his “future medical bills” meant that he needed to take the offer from WWE.

Danielson’s farewell tour includes these dates:

* September 4 – Reseda, CA (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla)
* September 5 – Berwyn, IL (AAW)
* September 6 – Chicago, IL (Dragon Gate USA)
* September 10 – Philadelphia, PA (Ring of Honor)
* September 11 – Philadelphia, PA (Ring of Honor)
* September 13 – Nashua, NH (CHIKARA)
* September 18 – Dayton, OH (Ring of Honor)
* September 19 – Chicago Ridge, IL (Ring of Honor)
* September 25 – Boston, MA (Ring of Honor)
* September 26 – New York City, NY (Ring of Honor)
