Former ECW and WWE commentator Joey Styles broke his silence on Twitter for the first time since news of his sudden departure from WWE went public last week.
Styles was the Vice President of Digital Media for WWE since 2008. He was reportedly let go by the company after a Facebook Live Q and A session with Cathy Kelley featured controversial comments by Styles. WWE quickly removed the video from online.
Styles revealed on Twitter that he is currently taking bookings to make appearances at upcoming independent wrestling events. He noted that he would not be available for announcing duties and will not be taking part in podcasts or interviews.
