During the No Mercy kickoff show on the WWE Network, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan confirmed in a segment with Alexa Bliss that Becky Lynch would not be able to defend the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship tonight on the WWE Network.
This confirms reports over the weekend that Lynch would not be wrestling at tonight’s No Mercy PPV. Lynch suffered an undisclosed injury per the reports that would prevent her from taking bumps. WWE has yet to officially confirm what the injury is.
Bryan did announce that Bliss would get her shot at the Smackdown Women’s Championship on Smackdown Live on November 8 in Glasgow, Scotland.
