There were said to be reports of 8,000 to 9,000 in attendance at Monday night’s WWE Raw taping in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center reports The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online. The entire upper area of the arena was tarped off and WWE had people outside just giving out free tickets to get people inside. This was expected to be the same situation at last night’s Smackdown/ECW tapings as well. WWE had been running radio ads in the area promoting that you could get tickets as low as $20.
