As noted over the weekend, WWE debuted the first ever 205 Live house show events over the weekend in Lowell, Massachusetts and Poughkeepsie, New York.
The events featured talent mainly featured as part of the WWE’s revitalized Cruiserweight division featured on RAW and every Tuesday on the WWE Network, along with others from the main roster aimed at trying to boost overall attendance.
Some of these bonus names included Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt and Nia Jax (who acted as a special guest referee for the Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander main events).
The first show in Lowell on January 20 drew 1,200 fans, while the second night in Poughkeepsie on January 21 drew 1,900 fans.
WWE canceled a previously scheduled show in Kingston, Rhode Island. The company has not announced plans for any additional 205 Live-only events as of now.
