NXT North American Championship
Keith Lee (c) vs. Dominik Dijakovic
The bell rings, and the crowd immediately starts singing. They approach each other in the ring and stare at each other. They lock up, and Lee quickly wrenches the arm. Dijakovic rips at the face and applies a side headlock. Lee whips him off, and they start hitting the ropes. Lee blocks a kick and sends him to the corner. Dijakovic goes for a slingshot, but Lee catches him. Dijakovic slides off and goes for a clothesline, but Lee runs through it and hits a hurricanrana! The crowd goes wild, and Dijakovic is stunned. Lee goes for a spinning heel kick, but Dijakovic jumps over. They each try shoulder tackles to no avail before going face-to-face.

Lee wrenches the arm and lifts him up. Dijakovic tries to chop him to release the grip, but Lee keeps it applied. Lee sends him into the ropes and does a leapfrog. Dijakovic then hits a discus kick that sends Lee out of the ring. Dijakovic goes for a Fosbury Flop, but Lee catches him out of mid-air! Lee goes for a powerbomb on the floor, but Dijakovic slides off. Dijakovic tries to send him into the ring post, but Lee puts the brakes on. Dijakovic then hits a suplex on the apron.

Dijakovic gets him in the ring and clubs the back. Dijakovic talks trash while punching and clubbing Lee. Dijakovic continues to pepper him with punches and forearms. Dijakovic stands him up and puts him against the ropes for a club to the chest. Dijakovic goes for a suplex, but Lee stops it. Lee punches him back with some left hands. Lee elbows him in the face a few times before hitting a strike combination followed by a backbreaker. Lee then turns him inside out with a German Suplex for a near fall. Lee lifts Dijakovic up, but he gets out. Lee sends him to the corner, but Dijakovic pops out and hits a cyclone kick. Dijakovic steps on Lee and goes to the top rope for a corkscrew moonsault to pick up a near fall!

An “NXT” chant picks up. Lee gets out of a power move and elbows him. They trade elbows to the head before going for a clothesline, but neither goes down. Dijakovic hits a facebuster and tries for a clothesline, but Lee stays on his feet. Lee gets fired up and clubs him. They each go for a clothesline and fall to their knees. The crowd gives them a nice hand. Dijakovic knees him in the midsection and clotheslines him down. Lee is finally down, and he goes to the apron. Dijakovic grabs him on the apron, but Lee bounces him off the top turnbuckle. The crowd sings to Lee. Lee climbs the ropes, but Dijakovic stops him before bouncing him on the turnbuckle. Dijakovic gets on the second rope and puts Lee on his shoulders! Dijakovic then hits an avalanche Feast Your Eyes for a near fall!

The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome.” Dijakovic elbows him in the corner before backing up. Lee then annihilates him with a Pounce into the opposite corner. Dijakovic rolls out of the ring to recover. Lee follows him out and forearms him in the face. Lee shushes the crowd and crushes him with a double chop to the chest! Lee sits Dijakovic in a chair and shushes the crowd before chopping the chest again. Dijakovic stumbles back into the ring, but Lee pulls him out. Dijakovic punches Lee down into the chair before chopping and superkicking him. Dijakovic then gets in the ring and hits a springboard summersault senton onto Lee sitting in the chair at ringside! Wow! Dijakovic looks to have come up a little short, which could have been really bad!

Dijakovic gets him in the ring, and Lee surprises him by lifting him up. Dijakovic elbows out, but Lee fires up. Dijakovic lands on his feet. Lee and Dijakovic flip through chokeslam attempts. Lee hits a Spirit Bomb, but Dijakovic rolls over and gets up holding his neck. Lee takes him down and hits another Spirit Bomb… but Dijakovic kicks out! Lee is stunned!

A “Fight Forever” chant lightly picks up. Lee grabs Dijakovic, but Dijakovic knocks him out of the ring. Lee gets to his feet and goes to the top rope. Dijakovic kicks him in the face and goes to the top rope. Dijakovic hits an avalanche Spanish Fly for a near fall! Dijakovic quickly lifts him up for Feast Your Eyes, but he can’t lift him. Dijakovic tries again, but his back gives out. Lee then crushes him with a Big Bang Catastrophe for the win.

What a match! I've been waiting for these two to get an #NXTTakeOver match and they didn't disappoint. Hard to find things to nitpick about it because it was such a spectacle. A lot of high spots with light selling, but that's par for the course with these shows.

As Tegan Nox makes her entrance, Dakota Kai attacks her from behind. Kai quickly sends her into the metal grate, and they fight into the crowd. Kai stumbles by the barricade near ringside, and Nox spears her through. Nox lifts her up, but Kai counters into a DDT on the metal barricade.

Kai gets her in the ring, and the bell rings. Kai covers for a near fall. Kai goes under the ring and starts putting weapons in the ring such as chairs and trash cans. Nox gets up, so Kai pulls her out of the ring and sends her into the ring steps. Kai kicks her before trapping her leg in the steel steps. Kai grabs a cricket bat and swings, but Nox ducks. Kai’s hands hurt as the bat breaks. Nox then hits a cross-body block off the steps to the floor. Nox puts a garbage can over Kai’s head and hits a running hip attack into it. Nox puts her in the ring and picks up a two count.
Nox sets up a table at ringside and puts Kai in the ring. Nox goes for a suplex off the apron through the table at ringside, but Kai gets out. Kai grabs a garbage can lid and slams it on Nox’s head. Kai puts her on the apron and goes for a big boot to send Nox through the table, but Nox moves. Nox kicks her a bunch of times before hitting her in the knee and back with a garbage can. Nox absolutely spikes her on the head with a German Suplex on the garbage can, but Kai somehow kicks out.

Kai avoids a Shiniest Wizard and hits a Kai-Ropractor for a near fall. Kai jumps off the top rope, but Kai catches her with a chokeslam attempt. Kai gets out. Nox then sweeps the feet. Kai kicks her on the top rope and climbs. Kai goes for a superplex, but Nox hits a chokeslam off the top rope. Nox then hits a Molly-Go-Round for a near fall. Nox sets up a chair in the center of the ring. Nox puts her head through the chair and goes for a kick, but Kai gets away. Kai throws the chair at her and superkicks it in her face. Kai gets her out of the ring and sends her into the ring post. Kai then ties Nox’s wrist to the bottom turnbuckle with duct tape. Kai kicks her twice until it breaks the tape. Kai yells that Nox asked for this as she stands her up. Kai goes to hit her with an object, but Nox gets away. Nox then hits her in the knee with the object.
Nox gets a metal chain and attacks Kai’s surgically repaired knee. Nox loosens the knee brace and puts the knee into the folded steel chair before stomping it. Kai screams in pain. Nox hits a Shiniest Wizard. Nox says she’s not done yet. Nox grabs the table from ringside and puts it into the ring. Nox sets up the table in the ring and puts Kai on it. Nox wraps the chair around Kai’s head before going to the top rope. All of a sudden, Racquel Gonzalez from the Mae Young Classic attacks Nox and pushes Kai off the table. She slams Nox off the top rope through the table, but it doesn’t break! Kai then pins Nox.

Good street fight with Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai. I thought the feud was a little cold coming into the show, but this wound up being quite good. Interesting move to have Raquel Gonzalez interfere. Nice job to introduce a new talent. #NXTTakeOver: Portland

NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin is coming on April 26. This is the first time the event will take place in Ireland.

Johnny Gargano vs. Finn Bálor
The bell rings, and the crowd quickly cheers. They lock up, and Bálor quickly shoves him down. They circle the ring, and Bálor wrenches the arm. Bálor really cinches it in, so Gargano rolls him up for a no count to get out. They go for a test of strength, and Gargano takes him down with an overhead wristlock. Bálor quickly grapevines the head, and Gargano gets out. Gargano applies a side headlock and takes him down. Bálor gets out by applying another grapevine to the head and does some push-ups. Gargano gets out and hits a dropkick before hitting another headlock takeover. Bálor fights up, but Gargano dropkicks him down. Bálor rolls through a sunset flip, but Gargano takes him down. Gargano then viciously kicks him down.
Gargano punches him and hits the ropes, but Bálor takes him down with a clothesline for a one count. Bálor chops the chest and begins to target the lower back. Bálor sends him into the corners with chops. Gargano quickly boots him back and chops the chest. Gargano continues to chop the chest, hurting his hand in the process. Gargano punches him down. Bálor avoids an avalanche by jumping to the apron. Gargano jumps over the ropes and clotheslines Bálor off the apron!
Gargano sends him into the barricade and chops him. Gargano puts him in the ring, but Bálor rolls out on the other side. Gargano charges him, but Bálor counters him with a Sling Blade on the floor. Bálor hits a running knee strike and puts him in the ring. Bálor elbows away at him in the ring and applies an arm bar. Bálor digs his forearm into Gargano’s face before hitting a low dropkick to the head for another one count. Bálor then goes back to a modified chin lock. Gargano tries to fight up, but Bálor powers him down and keeps the hold applied. Gargano fights up and hits a reverse STO. Gargano works on the arm. Bálor puts him on the apron and blocks a kick. Bálor then hits a dragon screw over the top rope. Gargano writhes in pain on the mat. Bálor turns him inside out with a kick to the leg. Bálor then applies a leg lock. Gargano fights out, so Bálor hits a double stomp. Bálor puts him in the corner and ties the leg into the ropes. Gargano forearms him back, so Bálor attacks the knee. Bálor attacks the knee on the ropes until Gargano sends him to the apron. Bálor quickly gets in the ring and takes him down before applying a deathlock. Gargano punches him in the face to get out of the hold, and he limps around.
Gargano hits an enzuigiri before soon knocking him out of the ring. Gargano goes for a suicide dive, but Bálor catches him. Bálor goes for the 1916 on the floor, but Gargano gets out and sends him into the ring steps. Gargano crushes him with a cannonball off the apron before getting him in the ring. Bálor charges as he gets in the ring, so Gargano hits a slingshot spear for a near fall.
Bálor soon hits him with a falling elbow drop for a two count. Bálor stomps Gargano as the crowd does dueling chants. Bálor viciously stomps away at the face before Gargano rolls out of the ring to recover. Gargano superkicks him as he gets out of the ring. Gargano goes for a slingshot DDT, but Bálor blocks it. Gargano quickly slams him into the corner. They trade kicks before Bálor hits a Pelé Kick. Gargano falls onto Bálor for a near fall. An “NXT” chant fires up.
Bálor attacks Gargano on the apron, and they exchange punches and forearms. The crowd is loving it. Gargano kicks Bálor back before trying for a slingshot spear. Bálor catches him and stuns him with a kick. Bálor goes for the Coup de Grace off the top rope, but Gargano moves. Gargano then hits a slingshot DDT for a near fall.
They pull themselves up to their feet and stare angrily at one another. They hit the ropes before Gargano forearms him and hits a discus clothesline. Bálor comes back with a Sling Blade and sets up for a Woo Dropkick. Gargano superkicks him, but Bálor comes back with yet another Sling Blade. Bálor follows up with a Woo Dropkick before going to the top rope. Gargano avoids the Coup de Grace before applying the Gargano Escape. Bálor screams in pain before getting out and hitting a double stomp. Bálor goes for the 1916, but Gargano takes him down for the Gargano Escape. Bálor fights his way to the bottom rope for a rope break. Bálor rolls out of the ring to recover.
Gargano follows Bálor out of the ring and hits a Woo Dropkick into the barricade. Gargano looks at the commentary table, but Bálor counters with a front suplex on the table. Bálor gets on the other table and charges to hit Gargano with a Woo Dropkick off the table into the barricade! Bálor gets Gargano in the ring and hits the Coup de Grace! The crowd is going wild. Bálor looks around before looking down at Gargano. Bálor grabs him and hits the 1916 for the win!

Good match with Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano. Started a little slow and went a little too long for me, but it picked up strong toward the end. Typically solid Gargano #NXTTakeOver match.

Cathy Kelley, who is in her last night as a WWE employee, is with the Undisputed ERA. Roderick Strong says Wednesday is coming up, but tonight is tonight. The Undisputed ERA will keep their titles.

The bell rings, and they lock up. Belair shoves her off and taunts her. They lock up again, and Ripley wrenches the arm. Belair turns it on her, so Ripley shoulders her. Belair angrily takes her down with a waistlock. Belair puts her in the corner and attacks. Ripley reverses a whip to the corner, but Belair slingshots over her. Ripley soon boots her back and hits a pair of short-arm clotheslines. Ripley dropkicks her into the corner and stomps her. Ripley chops the chest a few times. Belair avoids one, but Ripley chops her on the rebound. Belair shoves her back and slams her before stomping her for a two count. Belair applies a neck vice before hitting a standing moonsault for a two count. Belair goes for a suplex, but Ripley gets out. Belair appeared to go for a delayed vertical suplex, but their center of gravity is off and they fall. Belair applies a full nelson camel clutch. Ripley gets out and hits a back body drop before hitting some clotheslines. Ripley takes her down and hits a dropkick. Ripley gets her in the electric chair and hits a facebuster for a two count. Belair soon takes her down with a spinebuster for a two count.
Belair puts her in the corner and on the top rope. Ripley slaps her in the face, so Belair rocks her with a slap. They trade slaps, which pulls the crowd into it. Belair then whips her ponytail into Ripley. Belair then hits a military press slam. An “EST” chant picks up. Belair goes for a handspring standing moonsault, but Ripley gets the knees up. Ripley goes for the Riptide, but Belair gets out. Ripley gets out of the KOD before big booting her down. Belair then spears her down.
Ripley superkicks her and charges, but Belair gives her a back body drop over the top rope. Ripley lands badly. Belair then hits a summersault senton! Ripley soon fights back and slams her into the ring steps. Ripley gets her in the ring and goes to the top rope. Belair fights and tries for a superplex. Ripley goes for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Belair holds on. Ripley transitions into a Riptide for the win.
Winner by Pinfall and still NXT Women’s Champion: Rhea Ripley
Charlotte Flair all of a sudden attacks Rhea Ripley. Flair says she thought about it and accepts. She’ll see Ripley at WrestleMania! Flair then hits her with Natural Selection. Flair goes outside and sends Belair into the ring steps before walking to the back.
Not a great match with Ripley and Belair. Clunky, never really got into a groove. The announcement by Flair was expected, but worked well. I expect to see Belair in the match at #WrestleMania. #NXTTakeOver

The Undisputed ERA (c’s) vs. The BroserWeights
Before the match begins, Matt Riddle sings, “How much fish could Bobby Fish fry if Bobby Fish could fry fish?” After singing it a few times, the UE has had enough and go to attack. They brawl to the ring.
It’s Matt Riddle against Bobby Fish. Riddle takes him down and slams him. Pete Dunne tags in and flips Riddle onto Fish before dropkicking him. Dunne gets Fish out of the ring and hits an X-Plex on the apron. Dunne then hits O’Reilly with the same move onto Fish. Dunne attacks the arm in the ring before Fish kicks the legs out from under him. O’Reilly tags in and viciously strikes Dunne down. Fish hits a Samoan Drop before tagging O’Reilly in. Dunne takes him down with an ankle lock. Fish quickly tags in and hits a slingshot senton for a two count. Fish attacks Dunne’s knee and picks up a two count. Fish wrenches the knee of Dunne and slams it. Dunne drops Fish on the apron after O’Reilly tags in. Dunne sidesteps a big boot, and O’Reilly accidentally hits Fish. Dunne hits an enzuigiri on Fish before tagging Riddle in.

Riddle takes out Fish and O’Reilly. Riddle hits an exploder on O’Reilly before hitting on on Fish. Riddle connects with Brotons on both men before hitting a Bro-To-Sleep and a German Suplex for a two count on O’Reilly. O’Reilly knees Riddle in the face. Dunne tags in, and they double-team O’Reilly for a near fall. Riddle tags back in. Dunne hits a moonsault block to Fish on the floor while Riddle goes for a Floating Bro on O’Reilly, but he gets the knees up. Dunne stomps the hands of Fish at ringside before going for a kick, but he hits the ring post when Fish moves. O’Reilly attacks Riddle before Riddle comes back with some strikes to take him down.
O’Reilly pushes Riddle out of the ring and tags Fish in. Riddle spears Fish on the floor before spearing O’Reilly in the ring. Riddle goes for a Jackhammer, but Fish chop blocks him. They hit a lung blower/German Suplex combo for a near fall. Riddle knees them in the face and tags Dunne in. Dunne wrenches O’Reilly’s arm. O’Reilly ocunters into a head and arm clutch. O’Reilly is kicked back and goes for a pendulum lariat. Riddle and Dunne apply ankle locks to Fish and O’Reilly. They get out of the holds. O’Reilly applies a Sharpshooter, while Fish applies a rear naked choke to Riddle. Riddle knees O’Reilly in the face, and they all go down.

Dunne soon takes Fish down and tags Riddle in. They go for a Doomsday Device on Fish, but Fish gets out. O’Reilly tags in and takes Dunne down at ringside. Fish slams Riddle off the top rope. O’Reilly hits a diving knee drop to the knee of Riddle before applying a leg lock. Fish keeps Dunne back. Dunne kills him with joint manipulation before stomping O’Reilly’s hand to break it up. Dunne tags in as the crowd chants, “This is awesome.” Dunne and O’Reilly exchange punches. Dunne is sent into Riddle. Dunne bites O’Reilly’s fingers before manipulating the joint. Dunne goes for a Bitter End. O’Reilly sidesteps a spear from Riddle, and Dunne is hit. They hit Chasing The Dragon on Dunne, but he kicks out! Riddle tags in, and they wildly double-team the Undisputed ERA. They hit O’Reilly with stereo kicks before hitting Fish with a Bro-To-Sleep/Kick to the head for the win!

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Adam Cole (c)
The bell rings, and we’ve got dueling chants already. They lock up, and Ciampa powers him into the ropes before giving him a nonchalant break. Cole applies a waistlock, but Ciampa applies a side headlock to get out. Cole tries to whip him off, but Ciampa holds on. Cole soon steps out and applies a hammerlock. Ciampa fights out and applies a side headlock. Cole whips him off, but Ciampa shoulder blocks him down. Ciampa shoulder blocks him again and sends him out of the ring. Cole tries to get in the ring, but he soon retreats.
Ciampa goes outside and chases him into the ring. Ciampa stomps the hand and hits a headlock takeover. Ciampa gets out and slaps him in the face before applying a side headlock. Cole soon gets out and takes him down. Ciampa avoids a kick and hits another headlock takeover. Cole fights up, so Ciampa takes him back down. Ciampa chops the chest before having a whip to the corner reversed on him. They go outside and Ciampa elbows him back. Ciampa charges, but Cole big boots him down before doing Ciampa’s taunt. Ciampa angrily sends him into the ring steps, post, and over the commentary table. Ciampa knees him in the face and claps for himself on the apron.
Ciampa gets Cole in the ring, but he rolls out on the other side. Ciampa hits a baseball slide before putting him on the apron. Ciampa hits a running knee to the face before posing for the crowd. Cole rolls out on the other side of the ring, and the crowd boos. Ciampa follows him out of the ring and hits a front suplex on the barricade. Ciampa backs up and hits a running knee to the side of the head. Ciampa sits him in a chair and hits a running knee to take him out. Ciampa is near the crowd and one fan is absolutely losing his mind at being close to the action. Cole ducks an enzuigiri and hits a wheelbarrow German Suplex on the edge of the commentary table! Wow! Cole gets him in the ring after the referee checks him and covers for a near fall.
Cole connects with an attack to the neck before kneeing him in the back. Cole applies a grapevine to the neck and yells for Ciampa to give up. Ciampa fights out with a bridge for a two count. Cole kicks Ciampa in the face and mocks him. Cole goes to the top rope and pulls Ciampa up. Ciampa punches Cole and puts him on his shoulders. Cole gets out and kicks Ciampa’s legs out. Cole hits the backstabber, and Ciampa grabs his surgically repaired neck in pain. Cole covers for a two count. Cole applies a side headlock, but Ciampa fights up and does a backslide pin for a two count. Ciampa puts him on the apron, but Cole gets in the ring and hits an enzuigiri. Cole goes to the second rope, but Ciampa dropkicks her out of mid-air. Cole sends him into the corner, but Ciampa pops out and clotheslines him twice. Ciampa gets out of a back body drop and wildly hits a bunch of clotheslines followed by a German Suplex. Ciampa knees him in the face and hits a torture rack bomb for a near fall.
Cole makes a comeback and hits an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole is on the top rope. Ciampa gets him up for an avalanche Air Raid Crash… and he connects for a near fall! Cole pulls Ciampa out of the ring and goes for a powerbomb, but Ciampa gets out. Ciampa then powerbombs him on top of the commentary table. The table does not break. Ciampa clears the top of the table and powerbombs Cole onto it again! This time it breaks! Ciampa quickly gets him in the ring and knees him in the face. Ciampa hits the ropes, and Cole superkicks him. Cole hits the ropes, but Ciampa turns him inside out with a clothesline. Ciampa connects with Project Ciampa for a near fall!
Both men begin trading punches in the center of the ring. Cole kicks him twice, knocking him out of the ring. Cole goes for a suicide dive, but Ciampa kicks him out of mid-air! An “NXT” chant picks up. Ciampa puts him in the ring. As Ciampa gets in the ring, Cole hits a Panama Sunrise! Cole connects with an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole cannot believe that didn’t put him away. Cole talks trash to Ciampa, so Ciampa slaps him. Cole superkicks him in the face before superkicking him in the neck. Cole connects with a Last Shot, but Ciampa rolls himself to the bottom rope to prevent being pinned. Ciampa gets on the apron, so Cole follows and sets up for a Panama Sunrise. Cole leaps, but Ciampa counters into an Air Raid Crash on the apron! They fall to the floor.
Ciampa goes for a Fairy Tale Ending on the floor, but Cole counters into a back body drop. Cole jumps off the commentary table and hits a Panama Sunrise on the floor! Ciampa catches him with a DDT on the way into the ring. Ciampa hits the Fairy Tale Ending for a near fall! Ciampa just cannot believe what is going on. The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Cole takes Ciampa down and applies the crossface. Cole tries to pull him back, but Ciampa slides out and applies a crossface. Cole claws to the bottom rope and saves his title for now. Cole rolls out of the ring to recover.
Roderick Strong distracts the referee as Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish hit the High/Low on Ciampa on the floor. Ciampa is put into the ring, and Cole covers… but Ciampa kicks out! The Undisputed ERA jump in frustration. Ciampa avoids the Last Shot and sends Cole over the top rope onto the UE. Ciampa DDTs Strong before hitting a corkscrew plancha. Cole wildly superkicks Ciampa in the ring before giving him the Last Shot, but Ciampa kicks out. Cole is incredulous.
O’Reilly distracts the referee. Ciampa attacks Cole trying to hit him with the NXT Championship. Cole sends Ciampa into the referee. Cole low blows Ciampa and comes off the second rope. Ciampa kicks him in the groin out of mid-air. Ciampa hits the Fairy Tale Ending, but there’s no referee.
Johnny Gargano comes out and holds the NXT Championship back. Gargano pulls the title out of the ring, and the crowd boos. Gargano then hits Ciampa in the head with the belt! Cole covers Ciampa for the win!
Winner by Pinfall and still NXT Champion: Adam Cole
The Undisputed ERA poses on the apron celebrating. They still have the NXT Championship in their stable.
Great match with Cole and Ciampa. The storytelling was excellent. A few too many kickouts, but again, par for the course with today's wrestling. Didn't see the Gargano interference coming. Looks like we'll get another year of that. #NXTTakeOver

Overall another great #NXTTakeOver show. Mostly really good with only one match that lacked (NXT Women's Title). I can see a lot of what we saw tonight going into the Tampa show. Should be a fun road to #WrestleMania for #WWENXT.
