On the Kickoff Show, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez defeated Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
The show opens with a video package highlighting the matches we’ll see tonight.
Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett are standing at ringside to welcome us to the show. The show will be kicking off with the NXT North American Championship Ladder Match. Santos Escobar, Grayson Waller, and Solo Sikoa are already in the ring.
NXT North American Championship – Ladder Match
Santos Escobar vs. Grayson Waller vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Carmelo Hayes (c)
The competitors go after Carmelo Hayes at the start of the match, but Trick Williams quickly pulls him out. Sikoa and Hayes are pulled out soon after. We’ve got Grimes and Escobar going at it. Grimes takes Escobar down and goes to the top rope, but Hayes pushes him down. Williams goes to get a ladder, but he’s cut off by Legado del Fantasma. Sikoa is in the ring with Hayes and punches him down, but he’s soon clotheslined out of the ring by Escobar. Escobar and Hayes hit the ropes, and Escobar dropkicks him down. Escobar hits the ropes, but Grimes pulls him out of the ring. Grimes and Sikoa take turns punching and kicking away at Hayes. Waller and Escobar cut them off and get them out of the ring. Ladders are brought into the ring. Escobar dropkicks a ladder into Sanga. Waller dropkicks a ladder into Legado del Fantasma. Hayes hits a scary dive onto Sanga. Sanga didn’t catch him. Escobar then hits Sikoa with a suicide dive. Grimes then hits a somersault senton on Escobar. Finally, after thinking about it, Hayes hits an Asai Moonsault on Grimes.
In the ring, Waller gets a ladder set up and starts to climb. Sikoa runs in and knocks him off the ladder before sending him facefirst into the ladder. Sikoa traps him in the corner with the ladder. Hayes runs in, but Sikoa sends him facefirst into the ladder. Sikoa punches away at Hayes before sidestepping Escobar, who was running at him with a ladder. Escobar goes into Hayes instead. Sikoa then kills 3 birds with one stone with an avalanche into Hayes, Waller, and Escobar with ladders around them.
Sikoa sets the ladder up and climbs, but Grimes pulls him off. Sikoa knocks Grimes back and goes for a kick, but he hits the ladder when Grimes moves. Grimes kicks Sikoa out of the ring. Hayes quickly kicks Grimes and flips over him. Grimes elbows Hayes in the face and scares Trick Williams away. Grimes then hits Hayes with the ladder. Escobar dropkicks the ladder in Grimes’ face and sends the top into Grimes’ crotch. Escobar then dropkicks it into Grimes’ crotch. Escobar sets up the ladder and hits Waller with it as he tries to run in. Escobar climbs the ladder, but Waller leaps up and hits a cutter off the ladder!
Waller climbs up and reaches for the North American Championship, but Hayes pulls him down. Waller gets him in the electric chair position, but Hayes grabs the ladder and climbs. Waller pulls him down and starts to climb, but Hayes springboards off the ropes and clotheslines Waller off the ladder!
Sikoa gets in the ring. Hayes goes for another springboard, but Sikoa superkicks him out of midair. Sikoa starts to climb the ladder, but Escobar climbs on the other side. Escobar punches away at him and grabs for the title. Escobar then hits Sikoa with a WILD sunset flip powerbomb onto a ladder leaning in the corner! That was nasty!
Escobar hits Grimes with double knees in the corner, but Grimes soon big boots him. Escobar and Grimes hit the ropes, and Grimes hits him with Collision Course. Trick Williams gets in and starts to climb the ladder, but Sanga knocks him down and destroys the ladder! Legado del Fantasma then attacks him with the ladder and knocks him out of the ring. Elektra Lopez then hits Waller with a top rope cross-body to the floor! Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde sandwich Sanga in between ladder pieces and take him down. They get in the ring, but Sikoa lifts them and throws them down.
Escobar and Sikoa climb the ladder, but Trick Williams pushes it over! They fall out of the ring. Williams starts to climb the ladder to get the North American Championship for Hayes. Grimes then tips the ladder over backward, sending Williams out of the ring and onto Mendoza, Wilde, and Sanga! Grimes climbs the ladder, but Hayes pulls him down and drives him into the ladder. Hayes sets the ladder up far away from the title and starts to climb. Waller cuts him off. Another ladder is set up next to it, and Sikoa and Grimes join the fray. Escobar sets up a third ladder and climbs. Grimes and Sikoa have their ladder tipped over first. Waller then punches Hayes off and flips Escobar off his ladder! Waller looks up at the title and grabs at it, but Escobar stops him. They’re fighting while standing between two ladders. Escobar then hits him with an insane hurricanrana off the ladder! Sikoa then crushes Escobar with a top rope splash!
Sikoa starts to climb the ladder, but Grimes rips him down. Sikoa punches Grimes away and superkicks him. Grimes knocks him back and hits a Cave In on Sikoa onto a ladder bridge! Hayes attacks Grimes on the apron and kicks him down onto the ladder bridge. Waller climbed a huge ladder at ringside and goes for a diving elbow drop onto the ladder bridge, but he goes through the ladder when both guys move! That was an atrocious landing. He may be messed up on that one.
In the ring, Hayes climbs the ladder, but Escobar pulls him off into a gutbuster followed by a Phantom Driver. Escobar is then crushed by a flying Cave In from Grimes! Grimes climbs the ladder and takes the North American Championship!

Tony D’Angelo w/ AJ Galante vs. Tommaso Ciampa
As Ciampa made his entrance, he stood on the apron and spit water in the air to pay homage to the recently retired Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
They lock up, and D’Angelo powers him into the corner before punching him down. D’Angelo sends him into the ropes, but Ciampa hits him with a facebuster, a Harley Race high knee, and a Double-A Spinebuster, all right out of the Triple H arsenal. D’Angelo gets out of the ring to recover. Ciampa chases him in, and D’Angelo attacks him coming into the ring. D’Angelo stomps him down in the corner and taunts him. Ciampa turns him in the corner and punches and stomps him down. Ciampa backs up and hits a running knee to the face in the corner. Ciampa backs up and crushes him with two more running knees. Ciampa then pulls him out of the ring and sends him headfirst into the ring steps before kneeing him in the face again! Ciampa sits on the apron and pats himself on the shoulder.
Ciampa grabs the padding at ringside and pulls it back, but it falls back into place. Ciampa tries again and is successful. The floor is exposed. Ciampa gets in the ring, and D’Angelo attacks him. D’Angelo points at Galante before hitting a double-arm suplex for a two-count. D’Angelo sends him into the ropes and connects with a back elbow. D’Angelo applies a chin lock and cinches it in. Ciampa fights up and chops him. D’Angelo whips him to the corner, but Ciampa puts the brakes on and starts hitting some clotheslines. Ciampa hits four corner clotheslines followed by a diving clothesline. The crowd is fired up for Ciampa. The commentators are teasing that this is the last match for Ciampa.
D’Angelo avoids a knee and hits a falcon arrow for a two-count. Ciampa fights out of a move and goes for a Fairy Tale Ending. D’Angelo avoids it, but Ciampa lifts him. D’Angelo slides off and rolls him up with a handful of tights for a two-count. Ciampa rolls D’Angelo up with a handful of tights for a near fall. D’Angelo pie faces him and talks trash. Ciampa viciously chops him back and rips off D’Angelo’s shirt. Ciampa chops away at the bare chest and puts him on the top rope. Ciampa climbs and puts D’Angelo on his back. D’Angelo fights it and knocks him down to the canvas. D’Angelo leaps, but Ciampa hits him with a running knee out of midair.
Both men are down, but they’re up at the count of eight. They trade blows, and both look wobbly on their feet. Ciampa rocks him with a ripcord elbow. Ciampa charges, but D’Angelo elbows him in the jaw. D’Angelo reaches over to the steel steps and pulls out a crowbar. D’Angelo swings, but Ciampa ducks it. The referee gets the crowbar out of the ring, so D’Angelo low blows Ciampa. D’Angelo hits Ciampa with a neckbreaker slam, but Ciampa kicks out. D’Angelo is furious and yells at the timekeeper. D’Angelo picks up the crowbar and goes to get into the ring. Ciampa hits him with Willow’s Bell coming into the ring followed by the Fairy Tale Ending, but D’Angelo kicks out! Ciampa applies a Gargano Special, but D’Angelo gets to the ropes.
They’re at ringside on the exposed floor. Ciampa goes for a German Suplex, but D’Angelo counters into a DDT! Ciampa is out! D’Angelo gets Ciampa in the ring and stands over the fallen NXT Legend. D’Angelo kicks him in the head for the victory.
Winner by Pinfall: Tony D’Angelo
Tony D’Angelo celebrates this big win with AJ Galante, and they walk off. Ciampa comes to in the ring, and the crowd chants, “Thank you, Ciampa!” Ciampa gets to his feet and looks around the American Airlines Center. The crowd gives him a nice ovation.
We go to commercials and then come back to see a glimpse of Triple H embracing Ciampa on the stage. Thanks to Peacock and their atrocious commercials, that was missed. Luckily they showed a replay of the full moment.

NXT Tag Team Championship – Triple Threat Match
The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) vs. MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter) vs. Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) (c’s)
Brutus Creed, Marcel Barthel, and Wes Lee start it off. Brutus tries to use his power, but Lee dropkicks him out of the ring. Nash Carter tags in and takes Barthel down. Brutus runs in, but Carter fights him off. Barthel forearms Brutus in the chest and viciously sends Carter neck-first into the middle rope. Barthel kicks Cartner down and attacks Brutus. Fabian Aichner tags in, but Julius Creed soon tags in and takes him down. Lee tags in, and The Creed Brothers send him flying with a shoulder tackle. Aichner pulls Julius out of the ring and kicks Brutus in the face. Brutus hits Aichner with a slam, and Julius hits Barthel with a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Brutus viciously takes Carter down and punches away at him. Julius tags in, and MSK hit him with a strike combo. Barthel is then hit with a double-team backbreaker/stomp combo. Barthel hits Lee with a diving uppercut. Imperium double team Julius as well. Aichner then hits Carter with a scary body slam into the ropes. Aichner clotheslines Lee and covers, but Carter breaks it up.
Lee hits Barthel with a hurricanrana off the apron into Aichner at ringside! MSK gets Aichner in the ring and hits him with dives for a near fall. They all hit a superplex spot on the other competitors! Brutus goes to the top rope and hits MSK and Barthel with a cannonball to ringside! Yikes! The Creed Brothers viciously slam Carter and cover, but Julius is pulled out of the ring. Imperium sends him into the ring steps. Brutus is on the apron, but Imperium hits him with a powerbomb/uppercut combo on the floor! In the ring, MSK hits Barthel with a wild double-team powerbomb for the win.

NXT Women’s Championship – Fatal 4-Way Match
Cora Jade vs. Kay Lee Ray vs. Io Shirai vs. Mandy Rose (c)
All three women go after Mandy Rose. Rose forearms Kay Lee Ray in the face, so Shirai and Jade take her down. Lee goes after Jade, and Shirai dropkicks Jade in the face. Rose pulls Jade out of the ring and slaps her in the face. Ray and Shirai take Rose and Jade down with stereo suicide dives. Jade and Rose soon fight back against them. Shirai boots Rose down at ringside, and Ray superkicks Jade down. Ray and Shirai get in the ring and shake hands. They were winners of the Dusty Cup. They go at it and trade pins for two-counts. Shirai knocks her in the ropes and goes for a tiger feint kick, but Ray moves. Rose pulls Shirai out of the ring and strikes Ray back. Rose taunts Ray, so Ray kicks her. Jade takes Rose down and punches away at her. Rose fights up and forearms her before hitting a waistlock takeover. Rose sends Jade into the ropes and hits a spinebuster, but Ray breaks up the pin. Rose sends Ray out of the ring into Shirai!
Rose stomps Jade down and taunts the crowd. Rose goes for a delayed vertical suplex and nearly loses her, but she saves it. Rose connects with the suplex for a two-count. Rose knocks Shirai and Ray off the apron. Jade then pulls Rose out of the ring. Jade gets on the apron and hits Rose with a somersault senton! Ray then hits a WILD somersault dive off the top rope to the floor! Shirai then hits Ray with a top rope moonsault to the floor and hits the commentary table on the way down! Those last two were wildly dangerous dives.
Shirai has Ray in the ring, and Ray elbows her. Shirai knees Ray in the midsection and rolls her up before hitting a double stomp. Shirai hits Ray with a tiger feint kick followed by a missile dropkick. Shirai covers, but Rose breaks up the pin. Rose covers Ray for a two-count. Rose is furious. Ray applies a submission to Rose, and Shirai applies a Texas Cloverleaf to Jade. Jade fights out and kicks Shirai into Ray to break up that submission.
Ray hits Shirai with a front suplex, and Rose clotheslines Ray down. Jade hits Rose with a hurricanrana. Jade dropkicks Rose in the knees and kicks her in the head. Jade springboards off the ropes and stomps Rose’s back. Jade hits Rose with a running forearm. Rose drops her on the apron, but Jade forearms her back. Ray attacks Jade, but Jade hits an INSANE Panama Sunrise on the apron! Wow!
Shirai hits Jade with a tiger feint kick and goes to the top rope. Shirai hits Rose with a missile dropkick. Shirai hits Rose with double knees to the corner followed by a bridging German Suplex for a near fall. Rose snaps Shirai off the top rope and climbs to the top rope. Shirai cuts her off and starts to climb. Shirai hits Rose with a Spanish Fly, but Jade breaks up the pin with a diving senton off the top rope!
Jade soon knees Rose in the face and hits Sliced Bread #2. Jade follows up with a DDT, but Ray breaks up the pin. Ray hits Jade with a bomb and goes to the top rope. Shirai knocks Ray off the top rope. Shirai follows up with a Moonsault. Rose then comes out of nowhere and hits Shirai in the face with a knee for the win!

LA Knight vs. Gunther
Gunther and LA Knight lock up and are in a stalemate. Gunther takes him down, so Knight takes him out of the ring. Gunther gets the better of him and hits a powerbomb on the apron! Gunther gets in the ring and poses. Gunther attacks Knight coming into the ring. Gunther scoop slams him and applies a rear chin lock. Gunther hits some vicious uppercuts in the corner. Knight tries to fight back, but Gunther quickly cuts him off. Gunther sends him to the corner and goes for a chop, but Knight avoids it and hits a neckbreaker. Knight charges, but Gunther big boots him down. Gunther attacks the lower back with a Boston Crab. Gunther then transitions into an STF. Knight fights back, but Gunther stops him with a nasty chop. Knight counters a move from Gunther and hits a suplex.
Knight charges Gunther, but Gunther puts him on the apron. Knight knocks him back and hits a springboard shoulder tackle. Knight stomps away at Gunther in the corner and hits a running knee to the skull. Knight goes for a slam, but Gunther blocks it. Knight fights back and hits a powerslam. Knight is on his feet and hits a big elbow drop. Knight clotheslines Gunther in the corner and puts him on the top rope. Gunther knocks him down with a nasty chop. Knight quickly scales the ropes and hits Gunther with a superplex for a near fall.
Knight goes for a move, but Gunther chops. Knight blocks a chop, but Gunther comes right back with more and applies a sleeper hold. Knight powers him up and hits a torture rack bomb for a near fall! Knight goes to the top rope, but Gunther cuts him off. Knight initially fights him off, but Gunther chops him in the back of the knees. Gunther knocks him down to the canvas and hits a top rope splash to the back! Gunther connects with a vicious powerbomb for the win.

During the in-ring introductions, Dolph Ziggler gets a cheap shot in on Bron Breakker.
The bell rings, and Breakker immediately powers Ziggler into the corner and punches him out of the ring. Breakker follows him out and throws him into the ring. Ziggler punches away at Breakker getting in the ring. Breakker reverses a whip, and they nearly have a catastrophic botch that could’ve spiked Ziggler on his head. Not sure what they were going for there. They seem to repeat the spot, and Breakker counters a leapfrog into a vicious spinebuster for a two-count. They fumble another spot, and Breakker looks frustrated with himself. Breakker hits a trio of overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. Breakker pulls the straps down and sizes up Ziggler, but Robert Roode grabs the legs. The referee sees this and ejects Roode from ringside. Breakker chases Roode away.
In the ring, Ziggler exposes the middle turnbuckle. Breakker gets in the ring and hits Ziggler with a back suplex. Breakker puts him on the top rope and goes for a Frankensteiner, but Ziggler slides through and crotches him up there. Ziggler drops him with a neckbreaker off the top rope for a two-count. Ziggler leaps onto the back and applies a chin lock. Breakker fights up, but Ziggler attacks the knees and hits a neckbreaker for a near fall. Ziggler applies a chin lock, but Breakker fights up. Breakker goes to the second rope, but Ziggler sweeps the feet to send him to the canvas. Breakker is in a lot of pain. Ziggler puts the chin lock back on. Ziggler cinches it on and does a bridge for more leverage. Breakker soon fights up, but Ziggler kicks him down. Ziggler goes for a neckbreaker and gyrates, but Breakker fights him off. Breakker hits a pair of shoulder blocks and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Breakker sends him into the ropes and hits a scary tilt-a-whirl side slam for a two-count. Breakker puts Ziggler on the top rope and hits a Frankensteiner for a near fall! Breakker charges him, but Ziggler knees him back. Breakker shakes it off and spears him down for a near fall! Breakker is shocked.
Breakker grabs Ziggler by the throat, but Ziggler pulls him out of the ring. Breakker gets in the ring, but Ziggler greets him with a knee to the face for a near fall. Ziggler sets up for a superkick, but Breakker blocks it and connects with a nasty spear! Breakker follows up with a military press powerslam, but Robert Roode returns to ringside and pulls Ziggler out of the ring! Breakker is infuriated and wipes them out with a somersault senton!
Breakker puts Ziggler in the ring and sends Roode headfirst into the ring steps. Ziggler immediately hits Breakker with a famouser coming into the ring and follows up with a Zig-Zag for a near fall! Ziggler goes to the top rope and hits a flying elbow drop for yet another near fall. Ziggler is getting fired up in the corner and stomps his feet. Ziggler turns, but he stops when he sees Breakker on his feet! Breakker clotheslines Ziggler and annihilates him with a spear. Breakker goes for a military press powerslam, but Ziggler slides off and sends him face-first into the exposed turnbuckle! Ziggler superkicks Breakker for the win!
