“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
Logan Paul’s music hits and out comes the social media sensation.
Logan gets in the ring to a boos from the crowd as he welcomes every one to Monday Night Raw. He says he has a thing where he doesn’t like to talk in front of brain dead people for too long, he’ll make it quick. He is not here for them, he is here for Ricochet.
He says last week on Raw, he tried to get Ricochet over to his audience. He tried to build some hype around their match but he was sneak attacked, victimized and abused. And while he was down, Ricochet tried to make a spectacle of the whole thing. Logan gets heated and he tells the crowd that at SummerSlam, he will beat Ricochet in the most viral WWE match in history.
Ricochet’s music hits and the crowd chants his name. He says last week he was in his live stream but this week he is in his head. Ricochet tells Logan that Logan is not the good guy in this situation. Because Logan can fool the people who pay to follow him online but he isn’t fooling Houston. Logan tells him his contact is free.
Ricochet tells him that their match at SummerSlam will be box office, all time. Ricochet gets in the ring and tells him that while he might not like anything about him and he is a horrible human being, if there is one thing he can respect it’s that he is an athlete. A competitor, a show man. And he can always respect that.
Logan tells Ricochet he appreciates that. The fans chant “you suck” as Logan tells Ricochet that Ricochet is one of the best to ever do it until he showed up. Paul tells him that this started back at the Royal Rumble when he made them go viral in that epic double jump spot. We see the clip of their spot from the Royal Rumble.
Logan says he really has it but Ricochet is right. They are going to put on a hell of a match. They fist bump and Logan tells Ricochet that after the match on Saturday, the ring announcer Samantha… that’s RIcochet’s fiancée. And after he beats him at SummerSlam, he hopes there is no hard feelings when he will have his girl saying “and the winner is Logan Paul”. Logan waves at Samantha as Ricochet takes him down with right hands. Both men fight in the middle of the ring. It ends with Ricochet jumping off the top rope and Logan hitting him with a right hand.
We cut backstage where Jackie Redmond is with Imperium. She asks Gunther about his Intercontinental Championship match against Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. He tells her he lives in the here and now and his only concern right now is his disappointment with Ludwig Kaiser. Because he could have avoided all of this last week, he expected more from Kaiser.
Gunther says that Drew is not there tonight but tonight is the night where Ludwig Kaiser can redeem himself against Matt Riddle. And at SummerSlam, he will personally end Drew McIntyre once and for all.
-Commercial Break-
Ludwig Kaiser with Imperium vs. Matt Riddle
The bell rings and we are under way. RIddle with a take down but Kaiser gets out of it and reverses it into a head lock and a roll up but Riddle kicks out. Both men to their feet and Riddle with a gut wrench suplex. Riddle with a chop to the chest and Kaiser with a chop to the chest. Both men exchanging right hands and Riddle knocks Kaiser down with what appeared to be an accidental legit punch.
Riddle with a fisherman’s suplex. He goes for the cover but Kaiser kicks out with blood coming down his upper lip. RIddle goes for a spear towards Kaiser but Kaiser moves out of the way and Riddle runs into the ring post. Riddle with a big drop kick and Riddle to the outside. Gunther with words of encouragement as Riddle gets back in the ring. Kaiser in the ring and Riddle with a big clothesline and Kaiser to the outside.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Riddle with an overhead kick in the middle of the ring. Kaiser in the corner and Riddle with a right hand followed by an exploder suplex. Riddle with a German suplex cover but Kaiser kicks out. Riddle goes for a splash but Kaiser gets his knees up. Kaiser with a clothesline as he goes for the cover but Riddle kicks out. Kaiser grabs Riddle but Riddle reverses it into a suplex. Vinci gets on the ring apron, Riddle knocks him down. Riddle with a power bomb following by a knee to the face. He goes for the cover but Kaiser kicks out.
Riddle to the ropes but Kaiser with an upper cut. Kaiser to the ropes and Riddle with a right hand. Riddle climbs the top rope and he goes for a moon sault, Kaiser moves, Riddle on his feet and a kick to the side of the head by Kaiser. Gunther tells Kaiser to go for the kill. Kaiser with a big DDT. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Ludwig Kaiser
Gunther and Vinci get in the ring as Gunther extends his hand and they shake hands in the middle of the ring.
-Commercial Break-
Logan Paul is walking backstage as Byron stops him. Logan tells him that he gave Ricochet a small taste of what he will do to him at SummerSlam. He promises that their match at SummerSlam will go viral and that Ricochet looks like a full grown fetus.
A video package showcasing the feud between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar airs.

Maxxine Dupri with Alpha Academy vs. Valhalla with Viking Raiders
The bell rings and we are under way. Valhalla with a running knee and right hands as the referee breaks it up. Maxxine with an arm drag as she tries to throw Valhalla to the ropes but Valhalla reverses it and Maxxine bumps into the ropes and falls to the mat. Valhalla goes for the cover but Maxxine kicks out. Valhalla with a submission in the middle of the ring but Maxxine gets to her feet and gets out of it
Another arm drag by Maxxine followed by a kick to the head. Maxxine with a fisherman’s suplex followed by a splash in the corner and Valhalla falls to the mat. Otis gets on the ring apron as does Gable and they cheer her on. Maxxine with the worm and the elbow drop. Maxxine climbs the top rope and she lands a cross body. She goes for the cover but Erik gets on the ring apron which distracts the referee. Both teams fight on the outside and Valhalla hits Maxxine from behind. Valhalla places Maxxine on the top rope and she goes for a suplex but Maxxine slides under her. Maxxine gets Valhalla on her shoulders and falls backwards into a cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Maxxine Dupri
-Commercial Break-
Shinsuke Nakamura is backstage and in comes Tommaso Ciampa. He tells Nakamura that they have a problem and tonight, he will fix that problem. He tells Nakamura he needs to pick up some momentum and that starts with him tonight. And he will go on and win the SummerSlam Battle Royal on Saturday. Nakamura tells him he will see him in the ring tonight and he will be the one to win the SummerSlam Battle Royal. And problem solved.
The Judgment Day make their way down to the ring. Damian Priest speaks in Spanish as he goes on to tell everyone to rise for the Judgment Day. Ripley says Raw doesn’t start until they say it does. A loud “mami” chant from the crowd. She says for anyone who doesn’t want to stand in line, they have no problem putting them on the shelf. And who will stop them? Priest mentions Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins and Liv Morgan as people they have beaten up.
Priest says if Sami and Seth show up tonight, he and Dominik will make sure they don’t leave the arena whole. Finn tells Seth that he comes out every week and acts insane. Seth wears some stupid clothes, does a stupid dance, laughs like a clown but that isn’t insanity. Finn says insanity is waking up every day for the last seven years with all the scars which were left by Seth Rollins. He tells Seth that at SummerSlam, he can’t erase those scars but he will inflict scars. And that will make him feel a little better knowing that every day Seth will wake up, he will remember the time when Finn beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Dominik begins to talk but the crowd with massive boos. He says at SummerSlam, all of Judgment Day will have the goodies.
Dominik says he will bring pride back to the Mysterio name. Ripley says that any idiot who tries to get in their way should take a page out of Raquel’s book because if not, they will spend time in rehab like Liv and Kevin Owens.
Out comes Raquel Rodriguez as she storms to the ring. Raquel and Rhea fight in the ring as the Judgment Day leave the ring. Raquel with forearms and she throws Rhea across the ring. Raquel clothesline’s Rhea to the outside of the ring. Raquel on the outside and she throws Rhea into the barricade and slams Rhea spine first into the ring post on the outside. Raquel once more throws Rhea into the barricade and she hits her with right hands. Dominik tries to get involved but Raquel tells him off in Spanish. Rhea hits Raquel from behind on her knee as WWE officials run down and try to break it up. Rhea stomps on Raquel’s knee as the officials get involved.
A video package hyping up Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler airs for their MMA Rules match at SummerSlam.
-Commercial Break-
Alpha Academy are backstage and Gable tells Maxxine that she represented them well. In come Imperium who interrupt them. Gunther says the first match of the night and it’s a stellar performance by Kaiser. And they try and turn it into an absolute joke again. Gable hypes Maxxine up and Maxxine tells them that her coach is an Olympic athlete. Gunther says Gable is getting Maxxine to speak for him. Kaiser says Gable can’t last five minutes with Gunther in the ring. Gunther says to put the clock on the wall and he won’t last five minutes. Gable says he can last five hours and tonight, they both leave their crews in the back.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tommaso Ciampa
The bell rings and we are under way. Nakamura with a shoulder block as they show Bronson Reed watching the match backstage. Nakamura goes for kicks but Ciampa with a big kick followed by a back breaker. A drop kick by Ciampa followed by stomps. Ciampa grabs Nakamura but Nakamura with a kick to the body. Both men on the ring apron and Nakamura with kicks to the chest and Ciampa falls to the outside. Nakamura throws him back into the ring. Nakamura on the ring apron and Ciampa with a knee to the face and Nakamura falls to the outside. Ciampa places Nakamura on the barricade and he hits him with a knee to the face.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Nakamura with a kick to the side of the head in the middle of the ring. Nakamura places Ciampa on the second rope and he hits him with a sliding German suplex. Nakamura goes for the cover but Ciampa kicks out. Nakamura grabs Ciampa but Ciampa with an elbow to the face. Nakamura on the ring apron and Ciampa hits him with a DDT. He goes for the cover but Nakamura kicks out.
Ciampa places Nakamura on the top rope and a chop to the chest by Ciampa. He climbs the second rope but Nakamura with right hands knocks Ciampa down. Nakamura jumps down, Ciampa moves out of the way and Nakamura hits him with a kick. He places Ciampa across the top turnbuckle and he hits him with a knee to the body. Nakamura goes for the cover but Ciampa kicks out. Nakamura goes for a kick but Ciampa hits him with a knee to the face. Ciampa with a forearm but Nakamura with a kick. He rolls Ciampa up by the tights and gets the pin.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Raquel Rodriguez is backstage with a trainer. Adam Pearce tells her she is not cleared but as soon as she is cleared, she will get her match against Rhea Ripley.
Brock Lesnar’s music hits and out he comes to the ring!
Lesnar stands in the ring as the fans chant “Cody” and he smirks. Lesnar introduces himself and he says he is an NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion. He is a UFC heavyweight champion. He is WWE heavyweight champion of the world. And if there is one thing he knows about Championships is that this is fight week. The hype is over, this Saturday at Summerslam in Detroit… He gets paid to fight, to kick ass against Cody Rhodes.
Lesnar says at SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes gets paid to get his ass kicked by Brock Lesnar. The fans boo and he says to cut the crap. He has been here way too long tonight. He calls Cody out and tells Cody to come out, shake his hand and he will see him Saturday. But if he doesn’t, he will see him Saturday. He has five seconds before he leaves this town. Lesnar starts to count down and Cody’s music hits.
Cody comes out wearing his wrestling tights and a shirt. He stares at Lesnar as he slowly walks down to the ring. Lesnar smiles and claps in the ring. Cody circles the ring and slowly makes his into the ring. Both men stare at each other as the fans chant “Cody”. They go face to face with Lesnar removing his cowboy hat and grinning. Cody extends his hand as Lesnar smiles. Lesnar shakes his hand as they stare at each other. Lesnar shoves Cody with his shoulder and leaves the ring. Cody runs to the ropes and hits Lesnar with a suicide dive. Lesnar picks Cody up and slams him into the ring post.
Lesnar hits Cody with the steel steps. Lesnar’s music hits but he goes back and hits Cody once more with the ring steps. Lesnar begins to walk away but turns back. Cody gets to his feet and Lesnar with a knee and he throws Cody back into the ring. Lesnar hits him with the F5 and he puts on his cowboy hat and leaves the ring.
-Commercial Break-
Beat the clock: 5 minutes – Gunther vs. Chad Gable
The bell rings and we are under way. Gunther with a head lock take down. Gable to his feet as he goes for a take down but Gunther grabs Gable as Gable grabs the ropes. Both men to thei feet and a test of strength which is won by Gunther. He gets Gable down and goes for the cover but Gable kicks out. Gunther with a head lock take down and he twists Gable’s neck.
A power slam by Gunther. He goes for the cover but Gable kicks out. Gunther with right hands and upper cuts. Gable in the corner and an uppercut by Gunther as he looks at the clock. The fans chant “Let’s go Gable” as he fights back with right hands. Gunther goes for a chop, Gable ducks, he goes for a German suplex but Gunther blocks it. Gunther hits Gable with a chop to the chest. He goes for a power bomb, Gable lands on his feet, trips Gunther up and gets him in the ankle lock with one minute left. Gunther kicks Gable away. Gable with forearms but Gunther with a chop followed by a sleeper hold. Gable tries to get out of it but begins to fade. He goes for a power bomb but Gable with right hands and he throws Gunther to the outside of the ring as the clock strikes zero!
Winner: Chad Gable
Gunther grabs the microphone from Samantha and he says the match is not over. Samantha says she has been informed that the match will continue right now. Gable hits Gunther with a drop kick.
-Commercial Break-
Chad Gable vs. Gunther
Back from commercial and the match is already under way. Gunther with chops in the corner. He places Gable on the top rope but Gable gets him in an arm bar. Gable lets go as he lands a knee to the arm off the second rope. Gable with an arm bar but Gunther gets to his feet and hits him with a German suplex. He goes for the cover but Gable kicks out. Gunther climbs the top rope but Gable gets to the second rope and he lands a suplex. A right hand by Gable. He runs to the ropes but Gunther chops him down.
Gunther grabs Gable by the legs but Gable kicks him away. Gable with a dead lift German suplex. He goes for the cover but Gunther kicks out. Gable goes for another German but Gunther kicks him away. Gunther with a big clothesline. He goes for the cover but Gable kicks out. He grabs Gable but Gable ducks and rolls Gunther, going for a German but Gunther blocks it and he chops Gable several times. Gunther hits him with a power bomb as he goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Gunther
After the match, Gunther stands on top of the announce table and says that at SummerSlam, he will not lose the Intercontinental Championship. He tells Drew to have a close look at what he did to Gable because that’s he will do to him.

Becky Lynch’s music hits as she comes out for her match.

Cody is backstage with Byron. He tells Byron that Lesnar could break his arm again, ribs, jaw… The brutality that Lesnar has brought to him, he will bring to Lesnar at SummerSlam. The aura of the beast of Brock Lesnar will get shattered at SummerSlam.
Back in the ring, Becky states that she said everything she wanted to say and did everything she had to do to get her rematch with Trish Stratus. And there isn’t much left to do than to do it. She calls Trish out by her real name Patricia.
Trish’s music hits and out she comes with Zoey Stark. Trish says she thought she was going to do the match right now but then she realized no one tells her when to fight. By some fluke, she beat Zoey and she will get her rematch. But she will tell her when. Trish says she won’t cheat her out of her rematch and she isn’t a cheater, unlike the Astros. That gets boos from the crowd.
The fans chant “you suck” as Trish asks Zoey if they are saying “thank you Trish”. She tells Becky that she is dealing with a situation, pointing to her mask. Out comes Adam who says that per the agreement, this match is going to happen tonight. Adam calls for a referee and the match will happen now.
Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus with Zoey Stark
The bell rings and we are under way. Becky with right hands but Zoey gets in the ring and attacks Becky as the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: By disqualification, Becky Lynch
Both Becky and Zoey fight but Trish hits Becky from behind and they fall to the outside. Becky slams Trish face first into the announce table. Zoey attacks Becky but Becky fights her off. She throws Trish over the barricade. Becky tries to Man Handle Slam Trish onto a chair but Zoey attacks her. Becky pushes Zoey into the ring post. Trish hits Becky in the body with a chair.
-Commercial Break-
Adam is backstage with Trish and Zoey. Trish tells Adam he did not give her time to prepare. Adam says in two weeks, in Winnipeg, she will face Becky and Zoey is barred from ringside.
Another video hyping up Shayna Baszley vs. Ronda Rousey in an MMA Rules match at SummerSlam airs.

Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn vs. Judgment Day
As the Judment Day are walking down to the ring, Zayn and Rollins attack them. They all fight until Zayn and Rollins fight them off.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial as the bell rings and we are under way. Dominik and Seth start he match. Dominik with right hands in the corner but Seth with right hands and a kick. Zayn is tagged in and they double team Dominik. Zayn grabs Dominik but Dominik pushes Zayn in the corner and Priest is tagged in. Right hands by Zayn. He climbs the second rope and hits Priest with a right hand. Rollins is tagged in and they double team Priest. Chops to the chest by Seth.
He climbs the scond rope and jumps but Priest hits him with a right hand. He throws Seth in the corner and Dominik is tagged in. Right hands by Dominik but Seth with chops. He hits Dominik with a forearm. He goes for another forearm but Dominik moves out of the way. Priest is tagged in and he knocks Seth down and knocks Zayn off the ring apron. An arm bar by Priest and Dominik is tagged in. They double team Seth. Priest is tagged back in and right hands onto Seth. He throws Seth to the ropes but Seth with a kick. Seth on the ring apron and Priest distracts the referee as Finn runs out and trips Seth and throws him into the ring post.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Dominik and Seth are in the ring. Seth with a forearm and Dominik tags Priest in and Zayn is tagged in. Right hands by Zayn as he throws Priest to the ropes and a clothesline by Zayn. He knocks Dominik off the ring apron. Priest with a right hand but Zayn throws him to the outside of the ring. Zayn to the ropes and a jumps to the outside landing on Priest. Zayn throws Priest back into the ring.
Zayn with a tornado DDT. He goes for the cover but Dominik breaks it up. Dominik is tagged in and he drops Zayn onto the second rope. Dominik goes for the 619 but Zayn with a clothesline. Priest and Seth are tagged in and Seth with a sling blade and Priest falls to the outside. Seth with several suicide dives onto Priest and Priest falls over the announce table.
Seth throws Priest into the ring and he hits him with a super kick. Rhea gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee as Dominik hangs Seth up on the top rope. Zayn clotheslines Dominik on the outside. Rhea gets in Zayn’s face and Finn hits Zayn with a drop kick. Seth on the top rope but Priest hits him from behind. Priest with the Razor’s Edge. Priest looks at the Money in the Bank briefcase and asks Finn to give him the briefcase. Finn momentarily hesitates and finally gives him the briefcase. As Priest is about to cash in, Seth hits him with a super kick. Seth throws the briefcase onto Dominik’s face. Finn grabs Seth by the eyes, Zayn hits Finn with a Helluva Kick. Seth hits Priest with the Stomp. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winners: Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn
Rollins and Zayn celebrate as Raw goes off the air.
A good Raw. They built up SummerSlam very well with all of the hype videos and promos. Some good matches but lots of talking. Logan and Ricochet was great, we got Gunther, the videos for Ronda and Shayna were good and the Judgment Day stuff was interesting. #WWERaw
