“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

For the 29th time, WWE Raw is coming live from Philadelphia.

Video: Last week on Raw, LA Knight and CM Punk battled Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins attacked until Jey Uso made the save. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then booked Rollins to defend his title against CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight in a Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Clash in Paris. The Vision destroyed them after.

Pre-Show Arrivals

“Main Event” Jey Uso is seen walking backstage. Women’s World Champion Naomi is also shown walking backstage. She’ll address the state of the title later tonight.

The Vision addresses the WWE Universe

The Vision, consisting of World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and “The Tribal Thief” Bronson Reed, heads to the ring. Rollins embraces a beaming Heyman. Rollins then looks at the two pairs of sneakers Reed has stolen from Roman Reigns.

Heyman starts by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.” Heyman isn’t in God mode. In this city, he’s God. They would have a statue of him in this city, but he’s too humble to accept the credit he deserves for everything he’s done in this industry in front of the camera and behind it. Bluntly, he’s the G.O.A.T. However, he’s not the only one. The Vision is a ring filled with G.O.A.Ts. Heyman puts his arm around Breakker. Breakker is the future of WrestleMania. He taught Roman Reigns to Fear the Spear. He’s the Big Dog, and this is his yard. Then, there’s the owner of the “Shoe-la Fala.” He’s the master of the “Shoe-nami.” He put Reigns down. Reigns wasn’t man enough to get back up. He’s “The Tribal Thief” Big Bronson Reed.

An “OTC” chant picks up. Heyman says they’re really chanting, “Paul E.” Then, there’s a Visionary. A revolutionary. An evolutionary who put this all together and deserves even more credit than Heyman does. This man pinned Roman Reigns in the Main Event of WrestleMania. He did it not once in the Main Event of WrestleMania. He’s beaten Roman Reigns twice in the Main Event of WrestleMania. Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the reigning, defending, undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins!”

The crowd starts to sing Rollins’ theme song. Rollins takes the microphone, but before he can say anything, “Main Event” Jey Uso’s music hits. Uso makes his way to the ring through the crowd. Rollins looks frustrated. Uso stops in the aisleway and speaks from among the fans. Uso has some kids say, “YEET!” Uso says he’s tired of hearing Rollins talk. He’s also tired of hearing Paul Heyman talk. As a matter of fact, Uso is tired of them all trying to threaten his family. Uso says he tapped out Gunther at WrestleMania to become the World Heavyweight Champion. It’ll get worse for Rollins. Uso looks at the “puppy dog” Bron Breakker. Breakker will stay on the porch because he’s messing with a real one. Breakker rolls his eyes.

Rollins asks Breakker if he heard what Uso said. Uso thinks he’s better than him and can beat him here tonight. Uso thinks he’s faster and stronger than him. Uso thinks his family is more important than Breakker’s. He thinks Breakker’s dad is a loser and his uncle is a moron. He thinks his family is a bunch of fat asses. Breakker is getting fired up and goes to leave the ring, but Rollins stops him. Heyman wants to get something straight. Uso wants to pull this on them in Philadelphia? A long time ago, in a Bingo Hall not that far away (an ECW chant fires up), men would settle their grievances inside the ring. There would be a very specific type of match where they’d do it: No Disqualifications, No Count-Outs, winner by pinfall or tapout only. In the name of The Sandman smashing a beer can into his head, New Jack being the only real gangsta in this business, Rob Van Dam smoking his opponents, and the late, great Sabu, innovating moves no one had seen, as well as Tommy Dreamer, who isn’t dead yet but should be, in the name of the Dudley Boyz putting everyone through tables…

Uso cuts Heyman off. Uso gets the crowd going. Uso says great minds think alike. All he needs tonight are Extreme Rules. Four letters, one word: ugh-ugh… YEET!

Video: Last Monday on Raw, The Kabuki Warriors offered to accompany IYO SKY to ringside for her match against Roxanne Perez. Sky declined and ultimately got beaten after the Kabuki Warriors botched some interference. Sky would go on to say they didn’t help her, so an angry Asuka shoved her.
