We go live into the Honda Center to see a sold-out crowd.

Video: Last Monday on Raw, Jey Uso won a No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal for the World Heavyweight Championship. He will face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Near the end, Jey threw out his brother, Jimmy Uso. Jimmy had saved Jey from elimination moments before.

CM Punk and “Main Event” Jey Uso meet ahead of World Heavyweight Title Match at Saturday Night’s Main Event

The vacant World Heavyweight Championship is on a pedestal in the center of the ring. “Main Event” Jey Uso makes his entrance to a big reaction. After making a long entrance, the crowd wants him to run it back, which he obliges them in. After the music dies down for a second time, Uso paces in the ring. A loud “CM Punk” chant then picks up.

Jey Uso welcomes them to “Mon-Jey Night Raw.” Uso says he’s got a lot of people in his ear. He’s got Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in his ear. Everybody’s momma is in his ear. Uso says he doesn’t give a damn what they think about him. It’s just him as the No. 1 Contender. It’s just him on Saturday night, and he will be a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. Four letters, one word…

CM Punk’s music cuts him off. The Second City Saint comes out to an equally big reaction. The crowd loudly sings his theme song, “Cult of Personality,” by Living Colour. The two contenders for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship stare at each other. Punk then asks the crowd if they want him to run back his entrance. The crowd wants it, so Punk runs it back!

Punk then has the music shut off and apologizes to Uso for stealing his stuff. Punk says, “Four letters, one word: Punk.” Punk will do his best not to get in Uso’s personal space because that’s all Uso will get on Saturday. Punk says he’s happy for Uso. Uso is finally listening ot himself. He’s not listening to all the noise of Jimmy and Roman. It’s no secret that Punk is friends with Uso, making it harder to lace ’em up against him. He’s tried to put himself in his opponent’s shoes, but he can’t relate to Uso because he’s always listened to himself. It’s easy to do when you’re winning. It’s harder to do when you’re losing or about to lose. Punk had a lot of questions coming out here. Uso’s body language answers many of his questions. Punk knows Uso has what it takes. Punk watched him throw his brother over the top rope. Punk says it’s well within the rules. Uso is just showing everyone, including Punk, that he’s got what it takes.

Punk says Uso has what it takes, but how far is he willing to go? He’s not asking Big Jim’s brother or Little Roman. Punk is asking “Main Event” Jey Uso how far he’s willing to go. Uso isn’t the only one who needs to be champion again. The small amount of time he held the title at SummerSlam after besting Gunther wasn’t enough. Punk needs to be champion like he needs air in his lungs. Punk knows how far he’s willing to go at Saturday Night’s Main Event. When Uso is facedown on the mat and realizes he’s in a situation he can’t YEET himself out of, how far is Uso willing to go?

Uso paces a bit and gets close to Punk. Uso says, “Let’s go, Punk. Let’s go, Uce.” Uso knows how to swim in deep waters. Punk is just spinning these people into getting behind him. Punk is trying to make it seem like Uso is the bad guy. Uso says, “Guess what? Screw you, Punk.” This Saturday night, he’ll show Punk who is the Best in the World. Four letters, one word: uh-uh… YEET! Uso and Punk stare at each other.
