Video: Last week on Raw, Austin Theory proved his worth to The Vision by helping Bronson Reed defeat World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Rey Mysterio.
Pre-Show Arrivals
Rey Mysterio is shown walking his dog into the Kia Center. The Usos are also in attendance. They’ll battle AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is walking backstage. She’ll put the title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
Backstage Segment
The Vision, featuring WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory, is backstage. They start walking, go through Gorilla Position, and make their entrance.
The Vision kicks off Monday Night Raw
The Vision heads to the ring. Paul Heyman starts by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen…” He’s interrupted by the booing Orlando crowd. Heyman sighs and starts again, but he’s interrupted by a “CM Punk” chant. Heyman says Punk could have been standing in this group, but he instead placated the people and stopped listening to him. Heyman says he’ll start this again. Heyman shouts, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. Now, everything I say after that moment only hypes up where I’m going on this, the last show of 2025 on Monday Night Raw.” Heyman says when they’re scrolling through whatever platform is around in five years, they’ll look back at this segment to see all the future WrestleMania main eventers. The crowd chants, “OTC.” Heyman says they’ll realize all the future WrestleMania main eventers are standing before them right here and now.
Heyman will present the sentence that matters: “The rumors are true. Ladies and gentlemen, the newest member of The Vision is Austin Theory.” Heyman holds Theory’s arm up. Heyman says, “Earn your keep, young man. They’re all yours.”
Heyman hands Theory the microphone. Theory says he’s waited his entire life for this moment. He has worked his entire career for this moment. Theory has a lot of things he wants to talk about. First, he wants to talk about the next World Heavyweight Champion, Bron Breakker. The crowd barks. The crowd then starts chanting, “CM Punk.”
CM Punk’s music hits to a big reaction. The crowd sings “Cult of Personality” as the World Heavyweight Champion walks out to the stage. The crowd loudly chants his name as the music dies down. Punk says Theory quickly took to drinking the Kool-Aid. Punk says he’s not here to listen to Theory. He’s here for the other kid, Bron Breakker. Punk has been called many things in his career and is tougher than he is smart. Punk tells Heyman to explain to Breakker that the match is already set for January 5. Punk can come down and say a few things. They could attack him, but then there isn’t a title shot next week. So, why is he here? Punk likes to look a man in the eye before he puts him to sleep. Punk walks down to the ring and tells Breakker to tell his friends to leave so they can talk… unless he’s scared. Punk asks the “little doggy” if he’s scared. Punk slowly climbs the ring steps.
Bron Breakker says the only one who is scared is Punk. Breakker invites Punk into the ring and says they won’t hurt him. Another “CM Punk” chant picks up as the World Heavyweight Champion reluctantly goes to the apron. The rest of the Vision slowly leaves the ring, leaving only Breakker.
Punk gets in Breakker’s face and asks, “Whattaya got, kid?” Breakker asks why they’re here. Why does the Vision exist? They’re here because they look at things through the same lens. Look at “Big” Bronson Reed, the Tribal Thief. Look at Logan Paul, the biggest superstar in the entire world. Look at Austin Theory, a man with everything to prove. Then, there’s Breakker, who is going to be the next World Heavyweight Champion. Breakker says he’s tired of Punk and everyone else saying he’s the future. One day, he’ll figure it out and main event every show. Breakker says he isn’t the future. He is the now. Punk has the audacity to come out and say that Breakker is just the new shiny toy who will fail at his biggest moment. Breakker tells Punk to go to the locker room and find someone like him. Find someone who came into the business with less than a year of experience and took it over. Find someone more of a dog than him. Punk may not like him because he didn’t pay his dues because of his lineage. Punk is wrong. Everything he’s had to do in his life has been under a microscope. Breakker has had to live up to a higher standard than Punk could imagine. While Punk was on the indies, he was on the field with Lamar Jackson. They’re not the same. On January 5, Breakker is willing to die for that championship. He knows Punk is, too, and will let him. Breakker will put Punk in the ground, beat him, and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
A “CM Punk” chant picks up. Punk says his first mistake is Breakker thinking he knows what he’s thinking. Breakker is more ready than anyone in the back or in The Vision. There’s one problem: Punk isn’t ready. If Breakker wants what he has, he can pick it up. Punk throws the title on the mat. It’s a lot heavier than he thinks. It’s a privilege to carry the strap, and Punk isn’t ready to let it go. Punk isn’t ready to stop coming into sold-out arenas nationwide and getting the privilege to say, “Is it good to be alive on a Monday night in Orlando, Florida, or what?” Punk isn’t ready to stop being champion. Breakker is big, bad, strong, tough, and fast. He’s got what it takes. Breakker is right. They’re not the same. One of them is CM Punk. Someday, he won’t wake up, but it’s not today. One day, he’ll run out of road, but it won’t be January 5. One day, someone will beat him for the title, but it won’t be Breakker. Punk says, “I’ll see you on January 5!” Punk storms off.
Backstage Interview
Jackie Redmond is backstage with Raquel Rodriguez. Rodriguez says no one will get in her way this time. Liv Morgan walks over and says JD and “Dirty” Dom are out for a bit, so the Judgment Day needs her to take care of business tonight. Rodriguez thanks her and wants to handle this on her own. Roxanne Perez walks over. Morgan says they all want Rodriguez to be the Women’s World Champion. Perez says last week is water under the bridge and wishes her luck. Rodriguez says she doesn’t need luck and walks off. Morgan tells Perez it’s ok.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella heads to the ring. She’ll face Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s World Championship next.

Triple Threat Match
Nikki Bella vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Stephanie Vaquer (c)
Referee: Eddie Orengo
Nikki Bella gets between Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez and shouts that she’s a Hall of Famer. They take Bella down. Vaquer hits a head-scissor into a roll-up on Rodriguez for a two-count. Vaquer sets up for a Devil’s Kiss on Rodriguez, but Bella breaks it up. Bella attacks them at ringside, sending Vaquer into the ring post and Rodriguez into the steel ring steps.
-Commercial Break-
Back from the break, Rodriguez is applying a rear chin lock to Vaquer. Vaquer fights up and punches out. Bella comes off the top rope with a crossbody block attempt, but Rodriguez catches her and hits a fallaway slam. Rodriguez kicks Vaquer and puts her in a Gory Special. Rodriguez lets her go, clotheslines her down, and goes back to the Gory Special. Vaquer tries to fight it, so Rodriguez pins her for a two-count. Vaquer powers up and rolls her up. 1… 2… Bella breaks it up. Vaquer hits Bella with a snap suplex before setting up for a Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer hooks the head, but Rodriguez kicks her in the ribs. Rodriguez throws Bella out of the ring and attacks Vaquer in the corner. Vaquer rolls away, but Rodriguez drops her on the apron. Vaquer takes her down and starts to climb, but Bella pulls her down. Bella avoids a boot from Rodriguez and snaps the leg off the middle rope. Vaquer comes off the top rope with a crossbody block on Rodriguez. Bella then sends Vaquer’s shoulder into the ring post. Bella then goes to Rodriguez and applies an STF, the finishing move of her recently retired former fiancé, John Cena. The crowd chants, “Thank you, Cena.” Bella shouts, “Thank ME!” Rodriguez powers out and puts a submission on Bella. As she does, Vaquer hits Rodriguez with the Devil’s Kiss!
The crowd chants, “One more time.” Vaquer puts Bella down in the corner and hits Rodriguez with a meteora in the corner. Bella boots Vaquer away, but Vaquer soon hits a dragon screw on the ropes. Rodriguez charges, but Vaquer hits her with a dragon screw on the ropes. Rodriguez is holding her knee in pain. Vaquer goes to the apron, but Bella takes her down. Rodriguez grabs them by the throat, but they fight out. Rodriguez then clotheslines them both off the apron.
-Commercial Break-
We return from the break to see Vaquer applying an armbar to Rodriguez while hanging over the top rope. Bella dropkicks Vaquer and heads to the top rope. Rodriguez climbs and cuts her off. Rodríguez hooks Vaquer. Bella quickly fires back with a sunset flip powerbomb on Rodriguez, who hits Vaquer with a superplex. Bella tries for pins on both, but only gets to the count of two. Bella goes for a hurricanrana on Rodriguez, but Rodriguez counters into a powerbomb attempt. Bella hits Rodriguez with a back elbow and comes off the second rope with a flying kick. Vaquer then hits Bella with a SCARY double-arm lung blower! 1… 2… Rodriguez breaks up the pin.
All three women are down momentarily. Rodriguez gets up and grabs Vaquer. Vaquer hits a jawbreaker and a kick. Vaquer goes for a head-scissor into a roll-up, but Rodriguez puts the brakes on. Vaquer fires back with a roll-up for a two-count. Rodriguez pulls Vaquer up and hits a clothesline. Rodriguez sets her up for a slingshot elbow drop, but Bella pulls Vaquer out of the ring. Bella rolls Rodriguez up for a two-count. Rodriguez drops Bella on the top rope before picking Vaquer up. Rodriguez grabs Bella and Vaquer for a double Tejana Bomb, but Vaquer gets out. Rodriguez hits Bella with a Tejana Bomb. Vaquer then sends Rodriguez out of the ring and covers Bella for the win.

Parking Lot Segment
Jackie Redmond catches up with Gunther and asks about his disrespectful behavior since defeating John Cena. R-Truth walks up to him and says he made John Cena tap out. Cena is R-Truth’s hero, and he’s a hero to many. R-Truth says he’s singing the same old tune, making him a piece of… R-Truth whispers it in his ear. R-Truth says he’s back to being the world’s greatest wrestler for a second time. There won’t be a third time. Gunther laughs and says if that’s a challenge, he’ll see him in the ring.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors head to the ring.

Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles is at ringside.
Video: Last week on Raw, Asuka beat Rhea Ripley after IYO SKY’s interference went sideways.
The Kabuki Warriors are in the ring. Asuka says she beat Rhea Ripley last week on Raw. Everyone is a big baby. Asuka yells in Japanese as Kairi Sane laughs. Sane says IYO SKY never should have attacked her. Asuka shouts, “KAIRI!” Asuka then takes the microphone from a sheepish Sane. The crowd chants, “Rhea.” Asuka says Ripley and Sky paid for their disrespect because no one is ready for the Kabuki Warriors. They’re the Tag Team Champions!
“THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!”
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY come out to the ring. They charge into the ring, and the Warriors quickly get out. Ripley and Sky follow them out and attack them. Ripley gets Asuka in the ring and superkicks her. Sane quickly shoves Sky into the commentary table, injuring her back again. Ripley attacks Sane and checks on Sky. Asuka kicks Ripley down and sends Sky into the timekeeper’s area. Asuka and Sane get Ripley in the ring and double-team her. They set up for their double-team finisher, but Sky breaks it up. Ripley kicks Asuka down and headbutts Sane. Ripley goes for a Riptide on Sane, but Sane gets out. Ripley hits Sane with a back elbow. Ripley and Sane knock the Warriors out of the ring and stand tall in the ring.
Backstage Segment
Rey Mysterio is warming up when World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk comes up to him. Mysterio tells Punk to watch out for himself because of his match next week. Mysterio says Heyman isn’t the only one in the favor business. He’s got this tonight. Punk wishes him luck.
“The Ring General” Gunther heads to the ring. He’ll face R-Truth next.

“The Ring General” Gunther vs. R-Truth
Referee: Jessika Carr
The bell rings, and R-Truth angrily comes out with some vicious right hands. Gunther shoves him off, but R-Truth kicks him and goes for a scissor kick. Gunther avoids it and chops him down. Gunther stomps him before picking him up and hitting a scoop slam. Gunther wrenches the arm and chops the chest. R-Truth punches back at him, but Gunther chops him down again. Gunther goes for a back suplex, but R-Truth flips through and jumps on his back for a sleeper hold. Gunther backs him to the corner and chops him down. Gunther pulls R-Truth up and hits a stiff short-arm clothesline. Gunther talks trash to the crowd while pointing at R-Truth. Gunther hits the ropes and lights him up with a big clothesline. Gunther does John Cena’s “You Can’t See Me” taunt. R-Truth ducks and hits a pair of leaping shoulder tackles. Gunther quickly big boots him down before he can do the 5 Moves of Doom. Gunther hits a Powerbomb and covers. 1… 2… Gunther pulls R-Truth’s shoulders up. Gunther elbows R-Truth in the ribs a few times before applying a Sleeper Hold. R-Truth taps out.

Locker Room Segment
Jey Uso is gearing up. Jimmy Uso walks in and asks if he’s ready to get back their Tag Team Championship. Jey says he is, but he doesn’t sound enthusiastic. Jimmy asks if he’s ok and wants him locked in. Jey says nothing has been going his way. It’s one thing for him to put himself in a bad spot. He doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad spot, either. Jimmy says the only bad spot is in Jey’s head. Jimmy says he needs him. The Jey Uso he knows has everyone in the world and this arena yelling, “YEET.” Jey stands up and says, “YEET.” They shake hands. Jimmy is excited and walks off.

Backstage Segment
World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are talking backstage when JeVon Evans walks up to them. Styles says he and Leon Slater took them to their limit. Evans is meeting with Adam Pearce soon. Los Americanos come up to them. El Grande Americano talks in Spanish before they walk off.
The Vision’s Locker Room
Austin Theory is warming up with Logan Paul in the background. Paul Heyman walks in and says it’s Theory’s big night. Rey Mysterio shouldn’t take it away from him. Heyman welcomes him to The Vision. Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed come up and welcome Theory. Paul says he’s a humble guy and a huge star. On his first day in The Vision, he was nervous. Theory did great out there. They all have his back. Heyman tells Paul to take Theory out to the ring.
Rey Mysterio makes his entrance.
