“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video showcases the moment Edge retired from WWE from the April 11, 2011 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW. They show highlights from his speech before going to clips of Edge and Christian doing their 5-second poses. They will guest host RAW tonight.

Edge and Christian kick off Monday Night RAW

Tony Chimel introduces Edge and Christian to the ring (complete with the high pitched “Superstar” line), and they come out to a massive pop from the crowd. Christian seems startled by Edge’s pyrotechnics. Edge is wearing a Sami Zayn shirt. Christian says he is so excited to be standing in this ring for the very last RAW of 2014. Christian thinks they should send 2014 off with a bang by doing it E&C style. Christian is going to host a special edition of “The Peep Show” that will totally reek of awesomeness. Before he can say his guest, Edge questions the name of that show. Edge thinks it should be “The Cutting Edge.” Edge says “The Peep Show” sounds like something perverts from 1920 would pay a nickel to watch. Christian says that’s what he was going for, and Edge thinks that’s disturbing. Edge wants to show the people how they made it to the top of the mountain seven times. Edge wants to show why they’re the best damn tag team in history. It’s time to do the first ever “Cutting Edge Peep Show.” The crowd likes that.

Their first guest will be the self-proclaimed future of the WWE, Seth Rollins. The crowd boos his name. Christian says the crowd doesn’t like that guy. Edge says he wants to put the name in perspective. Edge then announces that Seth Rollins will go one-on-one with Roman Reigns. Christian then says Rusev’s name, and he gets boos. Christian says the reaction will change when he says Rusev will go one-on-one in a Champion vs. Champion match with the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. That will happen right here in Washington, DC, and they’ll both be completely naked. Christian thinks he may have gone a little too far with that. Edge says no one wants to see that. Christian suggests Lana, and they cheer. Christian says he’ll get the audience back. Christian asks who would like to see Daniel Bryan tonight. The crowd erupts, and a big “YES!” chant breaks out. Edge says that’s why they were hoping they would do. Bryan will be out later to address his future.

Since they are the guest GMs tonight and make the rules, they want to give Washington a very special treat with a 5-second pose. For the benefit of those with flash photography… Brock Lesnar’s music hits! The WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman at his side. Michael Cole reminds the viewing audience what happened the last time Lesnar was in the ring with a guest GM (that being Chris Jericho). Lesnar stands in the ring with Heyman staring at Edge and Christian as the crowd boos. Paul Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, peeps and Edgeheads, my name is Paul Heyman, and I can’t help but wonder why a man with a broken neck that can never wrestle again and a man with far too many concussions to ever wrestle again would swim in the shark infested waters that are inhabited by the biggest, most unmerciful predator in the WWE Universe, the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, Brock Lesnar.” Heyman dares them to make a move. They can’t because one bad hit or smack across the face, and either one of them, or both, could end up in a wheelchair as a paraplegic for the rest of their lives. His client has no desire to break the neck or end the career of two men whose careers are already over. His client is a conqueror that wants to penetrate the virgin neck of someone whose conquering is truly newsworthy like their hero, John Cena. At the final conflict between Lesnar and Cena at the Royal Rumble…

John Cena’s music hits, and he makes his way out to a nice reception from the crowd. Cena is all business as he stares down at the ring before marching down to the ring. The crowd is really buzzing as Cena stares at them. A “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks” chant breaks out. Lesnar leans in the corner and laughs. Cena says the only reason why he doesn’t knock Lesnar clean into 2015 is so he doesn’t limp into the Royal Rumble with an excuse. Cena comes with a gift and a resolution. “My resolution is I take that championship off your shoulder at the Royal Rumble. We savvy,” Cena asks. His gift is for Paul Heyman. Cena grabs Heyman, but then releases him to catch Lesnar trying to rush him. Cena gets him up for an AA, but Lesnar slides off and escapes the ring with Heyman!

Lesnar and Heyman stand at the foot of the ramp. Lesnar is not happy about being tricked like that. Heyman convinces him to cool down. Lesnar holds up the championship and walks off with Heyman. Cena’s music plays, and he poses for the crowd.

Ryback clears up some misconceptions about him

Ryback is still in the ring as we come back from commercial. Ryback says now that the big, ugly Russian is gone, he wants to talk to the WWE Universe for a few minutes. He feels like ever since he debuted in the WWE as Ryback, there has been a misunderstanding about him. There’s a lot they don’t understand about him. His first WWE live event was when he was twelve years old. He was the guest bell ringer in Las Vegas. It was then that he decided he wanted to be a WWE superstar. Nearly ten years ago, he got his start on WWE Million Dollar Tough Enough as “The Silverback.” A replay is shown from a 2004 episode of Smackdown when Al Snow announced he was eliminated. After that, he lost his dream job and fell into a deep depression. Ryback didn’t talk to his family for a year because he was so ashamed that he lost everything he worked for. He got a job at a BBQ joint in Louisville, Kentucky working twelve hours a day. He would go home to an empty apartment with a stack of WrestleMania DVDs to remind him of everything he lost.

Ryback then came across a book called, “The Secret,” a book on positivity. It taught him about the law of attraction and how powerful the mind is. His life changed right away. He returned to wrestling and got re-signed by the WWE. Shortly after that, he made his debut with a group called The Nexus. A replay is shown from 2010 when the Nexus debuted and destroyed John Cena and the ring. Everything was great for him. He was 28-years old and on top of the world. Everything was picture perfect. Then in Hawaii in 2010, he broke his ankle in three places. He got up and tried to continue only to break his leg all the way up to his knee. Ryback shows off the scar. Three doctors told him that he would never wrestle again, but Ryback was born and he came back to WWE. A video highlights the career of Ryback up to this point. The crowd politely cheers.

Here he stands today, and that brings him to Rusev. This isn’t going to be a “USA vs. Russia” thing. It’s going to be one big guy kicking another big guy’s ass kind of thing. There’s one thing that Rusev and the people need to know about him. He takes negative people and all the negative things they say and eats them. He puts them in the pit of his stomach and turns them into positives. When it’s all said and done, he looks at Rusev and says, “Feed me more!” Ryback starts a “Feed me more” chant as his music plays.

Roman Reigns will take on Seth Rollins later tonight. We’ll also see Seth Rollins as a guest on “The Cutting Edge Peep Show.”

Bryan stands in the ring and soaks in the cheers from the crowd. They chant his name and say, “YES!” Bryan says it’s an honor to come out on the last RAW of 2014. It’s always an honor to be in this ring every single time. Who would have thought a small kid from Aberdeen, Washington who was always thought of as a B+ player could main event WrestleMania? Nobody, except the fans. Thanks to them, he got the opportunity to beat Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista in one night in front of 75,000 people to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! A “YES!” chant breaks out. The fans gave that opportunity to him, and he can never repay them for that. Five days after WrestleMania, he married the woman of his dreams. That was the best week of his life.

Everything changed after that. When they got back from their honeymoon, two days later his dad died. Bryan chokes up before saying he wasn’t there for him because he was here wrestling. A month after that, he had a career changing injury that required surgery. The doctors didn’t know what was wrong and couldn’t fix him. All he could do was sit on his couch and watch. All he wanted to do was be in this ring because that takes all the pain away. This is what he loves and dreamed about his entire life. He loves performing for the fans. Bryan doesn’t think there was anybody who cheered louder when Dolph Ziggler pinned Seth Rollins and sent The Authority out of power. It was a great moment, but it hurt because he couldn’t be here for that. The doctors didn’t have any answers. He talked to friends, family, and even Edge because he knows a thing or two about career-ending and life-altering injuries. It gets to a point of when you have to make a decision. The crowd yells, “NO!” Bryan says you have to wonder whether it’s all worth it or not. Because the fans supported him his entire career, he made a special request to make this announcement for them.

Bryan asks, “Is my career over?” The fans loudly chant, “NO!” Bryan simply says, “No!” That is not the announcement he came here to make. He is ready to fight and compete. Bryan then says, “Will I be in the 2015 Royal Rumble? YES!!” Bryan starts up an enormous “YES!” chant before his music plays!

Seth Rollins will toast John Cena on “The Cutting Edge Peep Show” later tonight.

The Cutting Edge Peep Show with special guest Seth Rollins

Edge and Christian are already in the ring. A black carpet covers the canvas while two signs hang up saying “Cutting Edge” and “Peep Show.” Edge asks if Christian smells it. Christian says the show totally reeks… and Edge says, “Of awesomeness!” Their guest tonight goes by many names: The Architect, Mr. Money in the Bank, the future of the WWE, General Zod 2000, and the walking pile of suck. Edge introduces Seth Rollins to the ring.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with J&J Security. Rollins takes a seat and talks about what a great night it is. Edge says Rollins is pretty chipper. Christian asks why he brought champagne. Are Rollins and J&J going to celebrate getting their computers fixed? Rollins says that’s not very nice. Before they get started, he wants to say what an honor it truly is to be on the first ever edition of “The Cutting Edge Peep Show.” Rollins says they were heroes to him growing up. They had incredible matches with the Hardys and the Dudleys. Those matches inspired him to want to be a wrestler. They are heroes of his. Edge says they appreciate it, but they don’t believe it. It seems Rollins is being condescending. Christian says he’s being lame. Rollins says they’re way too cynical. It’s the holidays. It’s time for introspection and reflection. Who had a better year than Seth Rollins? He engineered the rise and destruction of The Shield. He won Money in the Bank, became the new standard bearer of WWE, and he’s worldly recognized as the absolute future of sports entertainment. The crowd chants, “You sold out,” before saying he won a Slammy for that chant. Edge and Christian then rattle off some names that had a better year than him, like John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Sting, Daniel Bryan, and The Doctor of Style Slick.

Rollins says he’s not out here for this reason. He wanted to take the time to reflect on the past month and how difficult it has been for him since Survivor Series. He’s been a party pooper.
