The show opens with a graphic in memory of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. We then go live to San Jose where the entire WWE roster is on the stage with Vince McMahon at the front.

WWE holds a 10 bell salue to Piper.

A video package runs looking back at the career of Roddy Piper.

The RAW opening hits. We go live to San Jose where pyro goes off.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton vs. Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper in a big six man tag team match is set for later tonight.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is out to kick off the show. Footage from last week is shown of Rollins giving John Cena a broken nose. Back live, Rollins has a mic in hand. He said the only person in WWE that can slow him down is named Seth Rollins. Rollins admits to a flaw: sympathy. He uses last week as an example when he drove his knee right into the nose of Cena. We see a slow motion replay of Rollins breaking the nose of Cena. A “Thank You Rollins” chant starts up in San Jose. He talks about feeling Cena’s nose crack on his knee to another loud reaction of cheers. Rollins said Cena’s face isn’t the last he will smash, but it is the first time he has broken the face of the man who runs the place. He shows photos of Cena’s broken nose from backstage last week. Rollins said the match should have been stopped and he should have been awarded the United States Championship. “John Cena caught me and that is on me.” He promises that will never, ever happen again. Rollins has a proposition for John Cena. “What do you say we do it one more time? John Cena vs. Seth Rollins. One on one. Title for title. Winner take all at the four hour extravaganza live on the WWE Network, SummerSlam.” He gives Cena the option of forfeiting his United States Championship and brings up how for the first time ever someone will hold both the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Championships at the same time. Rollins brings up becoming champion in San Jose earlier this year at WrestleMania and notes how this was the birth place of Cena’s open challenge. He announces for the first time ever an open challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship…right now.

Rollins drops the mic asking who it will be as we go to a break.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live as JoJo is in the ring with Rollins asking if this open challenge is legitimate. Rollins said he got 100% verification from The Authority that he could do this. His opponent just must be under six feet tall and must be under 200 pounds. JoJo said he must mean he wants to have a match with El Torito. Rollins said that is “no bull” laughing. He calls out El Torito to challenge him for the title right now.

El Torito’s music hits. The music gets interrupted by Neville’s. Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton talk about how Neville fits the bill tonight under the circumstances.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Neville

Lilian Garcia handled introductions for the challenger Neville and champion Seth Rollins.

Rollins with a quick headlock takedown early on Neville. Neville drops Rollins down quick and follows that up with a sweep. Rollins with a big right and kicks to Neville in the corner. Rollins with elbows to Neville in the other corner. Neville catches Rollins with a boot and a huricanrana takedown. Rollins rolls out and Neville launches over the top rope taking out Rollins. Neville tosses Rollins back in, Neville goes up top and Rollins rolls out of the way. Neville tackles Rollins over the top rope to the outside. Neville with a corkscrew moonsault off the top taking out Rollins outside of the ring as we head to a break.

-Commercial Break-

We return live with Rollins dropping Neville with an elbow and applying a headlock. During the break, we see that Rollins sent Neville face first into the announce table at ringside. Back live, Rollins drops Neville with a quick clothesline. Neville draws the jaw of Rollins off the top of his head and catches him with a high elbow. Rollins with a modified neckbreaker on Neville resulting in a two count. Rollins with an elbow splash to Neville in the corner, goes up top and Neville catches him with a kick on the way down. Neville with a modified huricanrana from behind on Rollins resulting in a close two count. Neville counters an overhead suplex and drops Rollins with a german suplex and dropkick to the face combo. Neville with a german suplex into a bridge for a two count on Rollins. Neville gets Rollins setup for the Red Arrow. Neville goes up top, counters on the way down and Rollins levels Neville with a huge clothesline. Neville with a close roll up on Rollins. The crowd in San Jose thinks it was three. Rollins with a big boot to Neville. We see a replay of just how close the pinfall attempt was by Neville. Rollins goes up top. Neville cuts him off. Neville with a top rope huricanrana on Rollins! Neville quickly goes up top. Neville connects with the Red Arrow. Neville hooks the leg…1…2…Rollins gets his foot on the ropes! Neville can’t believe it. The crowd chants “One More Time” at Neville. Neville positions Rollins, goes back up top, jumps and Rollins moves as Neville comes down. Rollins with Pedigree and gets the win.

Winner and still WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins

After the match, we see a replay of the finish. Back live, Seth Rollins is clutching the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the ramp as Neville recovers.

Brock Lesnar returns later tonight.

The Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores vs. The New Day & The Ascension is up next.

We return live with WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players on commentary.

The New Day & The Ascension vs. The Lucha Dragons & Los Matadores

We start with Kofi Kingston and Kalisto. They exchange monkey flip attempts with Kalisto landing on his feet and getting the tag to Fernando. Viktor tags himself in working over Fernando in the corner. Fernando with chops to Viktor. Viktor sends Fernando out.

-Commercial Break-

Back live, Kingston is working over Diego. Kingston with dropkicks. Tag to Viktor who drops a big jumping right hand. Viktor with a high knee and then takes a big back body drop. Tag to Sin Cara who springboards himself in over Kingston along with a springboard elbow. Kingston eats a moonsault from Sin Cara that gets broken up. Los Matadores take out The Ascension on the outside. Big E eats a kick from Sin Cara. Kalisto gets the tag and splashes Kingston back in the ring for a two count. Kalisto kicks Kingston in the face, goes up top and El Torito tries to pull away at Xavier Woods. Kingston with Trouble in Paradise to Kalisto for the win.

Winners: The New Day & The Ascension

After the match, The New Day has a stare down with The Prime Time Players.

Backstage, we see Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch heading to the arena.

The Bella Twins w/ Alicia Fox vs. Charlotte & Becky Lynch w/ Paige

We hear from Team Bella first in a promo saying they started this revolution.

Paige introduces her team with Charlotte and Becky Lynch as the Submission Sorority.

We start with Brie Bella and Becky Lynch. Lock up and Brie pushes Becky to the ropes. Brie responds slamming Becky now. Becky with a drop toe hold and leg drop combo. Becky drops two more legs and tags in Charlotte who drops in with a knee to the head. We see a shot of Team Bad backstage. Nikki catches Charlotte with a big kick. Nikki kicks Charlotte away attempting a figure four. Nikki pulls Charlotte off the corner and Charlotte lands with a thud. Nikki hooks the leg for a two count. Brie gets the tag driving a knee into the back of Charlotte. Brie keeps Charlotte grounded applying a chinlock. Charlotte with a modified stunner on Brie to break it up. Hot tag to Becky. Becky with clotheslines to Brie. Becky with a dropkick to Brie and gets her armbar locked in after a roll through suplex. Brie is able to reach out to the bottom rope to break it up. Becky misses a baseball slide, kicks Nikki away and then takes a big clothesline from Brie. Team Bella stands over Becky smiling.

-Commercial Break-

We are back live as we see Nikki preventing Becky from tagging in Charlotte. We see during the break The Bella’s face planting Becky. Back live, Becky is trying to fight back. Nikki with a knee to the face on Becky. Tag to Brie as The Bella’s double team Becky. Brie with big kicks to Becky in the corner. Becky with uppercuts to Brie. Double clothesline by both. Tags to Charlotte and Nikki. Charlotte with chops. Charlotte with a neckbreaker and spear combo. Brie breaks up the pinfall. Becky with a t-bone suplex on Brie. Charlotte misses a boot. Nikki plants Charlotte with a huge spinebuster for a two count. Charlotte counters a knee to the face and gets the Figure Four into a bridge applied. Nikki taps.

Winners: Charlotte & Becky Lynch

Backstage, JoJo is with Team Bad. JoJo brings up that it appears the Submission Sorority has taken control. Sasha Banks brings up pinning Paige last week. Naomi challenges Paige to a match later tonight. She adds she is sick of hearing about Ronda Rousey.

Kevin Owens and Cesaro join MizTV later tonight.

MizTV with Kevin Owens and Cesaro

We are back live and he calls MizTV the second best show in WWE history. He says second because no other shows like the Highlight Reel and The Cutting Edge would have existed if it wasn’t for Piper’s Pit. Miz says Roddy Piper will be missed.

He welcomes everyone to MizTV. Miz said he is on fire as a WWE Superstar, judge on Tough Enough, host of MizTV and the star of “Santa’s Little Helper” coming out later this year. He suggests Ryback vacate the Intercontinental Championship and if he continues to nurse his injury. Miz said his next two guests are currently on fire in WWE as well.

He introduces his first guest tonight, Kevin Owens. Miz welcomes Owens. Owens said he has always been a big Miz fan and says he owns all of his movies on DVD and Blu-ray. Miz wants to know why Cesaro has a problem with Owens. Owens says Cesaro is jealous of him. “I’ve accomplished quite a bit in the last three months.” Cesaro’s music cuts off Owens.

Cesaro takes a seat next to The Miz. We see “Cesaro Section” signs in the crowd. Miz asks if he came here to pick a fight. Cesaro said he wants to hear what Owens has to say. Owens said Cesaro is jealous where he has been successful. He said he isn’t talking about beating John Cena. Owens said no matter how hard Cesaro worked, he will never be as good as him and he will never match his “god given natural ability for this business.” Cesaro said he isn’t jealous and he is rather ashamed of him. He said every time Owens walks away from a match, he disrespects the WWE Universe and disrespects every WWE star that stepped in this ring. Cesaro calls Owens an embarrassment. Owens stands up and Cesaro makes fun of the chair sticking to him. Owens said he’s accomplished more in three months than Cesaro has in his entire WWE career. Owens gets in Cesaro’s face. Cesaro said Owens is good at talking and walking, but he is good at fighting. Cesaro removes his jacket. Miz says, “Yeah, this is what MizTV is all about!” They both tell Miz to shut up and Owens says why don’t they let the guys who can fight handle this. Owens said tonight is not the night. Cesaro says, “Why don’t you do what you do best – walk Owens walk.” Owens pushes Miz into Cesaro. Cesaro gets Owens down for a Cesaro Swing. Owens fights out and bails. Cesaro yells at Owens to fight. Owens smiles and heads up the ramp to the back. Owens yells, “On my terms!”

Paige vs. Naomi is set for later tonight.

Rusev vs. Mark Henry is up next.

-Commercial Break-

Rusev w/ Summer Rae vs. Mark Henry

Rusev with forearms to the back of Henry followed by some kicks. Henry pushes Rusev back. Rusev with a quick dropkick that drops Henry. Rusev with kicks to the body. Rusev keeps Henry grounded in a front headlock. Henry with a quick scoop slam on Rusev. Rusev with a big superkick to Henry dropping him. Rusev fires himself up in the corner and catches Henry with a superkick. Rusev hooks the leg and gets the pinfall on Henry.

Winner: Rusev

After the match, Rusev drops Mark Henry with a third superkick. Summer Rae is in the ring smiling and clapping for Rusev. Rusev smiles looking down at Henry.

JBL plugs SummerSlam and the WWE Network for $9.99.

Backstage, Bray Wyatt is tearing apart a flower showing how it can become just a weed. He tells Roman Reigns that he has become the symbol of beauty, hope and strength. “They chose you and they decorate you.” He said Reigns is no different. Luke Harper said they tried to warn Dean Ambrose. Sheamus walks in promising to make things quick and painful. Wyatt laughs saying tonight they are friends and tells everyone to run.

-Commercial Break-

Zack Ryder vs. King Barrett

Ryder with elbows. Barrett with a high knee and then applies a headlock keeping Ryder grounded. Barrett with more knees. Ryder drops Barrett down face first on the mat. Ryder wtih knees to the face of Barrett and a dropkick combo from the corner. Ryder with an elbow to Barrett in the corner. Ryder with the Browski Boot to Barrett in the corner. Barrett drops Ryder face first off the corner. Barrett with a Bull Hammer and gets the pinfall.

Winner: King Barrett

Brock Lesnar returns next.

-Commercial Break-

The New Day vs. WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players & Mark Henry in a six man tag team match is scheduled for WWE Smackdown this week on Syfy.

Brock Lesnar live in San Jose

We are back live and Paul Heyman is in the ring. He introduces himself and wants to remind everyone that it was The Undertaker that picked this fight.

Footage from Battleground is shown featuring Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins with The Undertaker returning to interfere and attack Lesnar. Back live, Heyman brings up how The Undertaker has been unable to beat his client and how Lesnar will make Undertake a “submissive little bitch” when he comes up against the beast incarnate. He then presents further evidence with footage from RAW two weeks ago with Undertaker and Lesnar brawling.

Back live, “The Undertaker will never rest in peace because he cannot live with himself knowing that he cannot and will not ever defeat my client.” Heyman introduces Brock Lesnar. Lesnar jumps out on the stage fired up as pyro goes off. Lesnar walks around the ring, grabs part of the steel ring steps and tosses them inside the ring. The crowd in San Jose starts up a “Suplex City” chant. Lesnar stands on top of the steel steps as Heyman continues. He brings up how the last time WWE sanctioned a match between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, Undertaker spent a week in the hospital and took a year to fully recover. Heyman said if you really want the inside dirt on WWE: The Undertaker called Vince McMahon and begged him for a rematch at this year’s WrestleMania. He said Vince McMahon turned down The Undertaker and that even in his “dark heart of hearts”, Vince knew what would happen the next time Lesnar fights Undertaker. Heyman talks about Undertaker deciding to instead pick a fight with Lesnar leaving WWE no option. He dubs this the match “too big for WrestleMania” taking place at SummerSlam. Heyman promises to The Undertaker that he is going to Suplex City. He brings up how Undertaker needed an ambulance last time and this time he will need his last rites. A smiling Brock Lesnar jumps off the steel steps and embraces Heyman.

We see images of John Cena’s broken nose from last week on RAW.

Paige w/ Charlotte & Becky Lynch vs. Naomi w/ Sasha Banks & Tamina

Paige attempts a lock up and Naomi bails to the ropes. Lock up and Paige with a quick takedown keeping it locked in. Paige with a roll up and knee to the head. Paige sends Naomi to the corner and gets in a few elbows. Paige with kicks to Naomi. We see a shot of Team Bella watching backstage. Paige with big stomps to Naomi in the corner. Naomi hooks the head of Paige and then kicks her away. Paige with a big knee to the jaw and repeated knees to the chest of Naomi. Naomi drops her boots off the back of Paige falling back. Naomi drives Paige head first into the corner and gets a two count. Naomi with a kick to the back and applies a headlock to keep Paige grounded. Naomi with knees to the head of Paige and then presses her boot on the back of Paige’s neck. Naomi pulls the body of Paige against the steel ring post as Team Bad looks on at ringside. Naomi tosses Paige back in and covers getting another two count. Paige recovers with a fallaway slam. Paige with a dropkick to Naomi. Naomi catches Paige with a kick to the head. Naomi misses a crossbody attempt from the top. Paige with a superkick and then locks in the PTO. Naomi taps.

Winner: Paige

Footage is shown from earlier tonight with Neville answering an open challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. We see how close Neville came to pinning Rollins. Rollins was able to retain with a Pedigree.

Stephen Amell from “Arrow” is coming to RAW next Monday night to confront Stardust.

Randy Orton, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus, Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper

We start with Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper. Ambrose dumps Harper over the top rope to the outside. A huge brawl breaks out with everyone else. Orton and Reigns clean house. Ambrose off the top rope taking out Wyatt, Sheamus and Harper.

-Commerical Break-

We return live with Reigns dropping Sheamus with a huge right hand. Reigns and Sheamus brawl to the outside with Sheamus getting the better of Reigns. Reigns fires back with another big right as Sheamus slides in the ring. Reigns follows and Sheamus rolls out tagging in Wyatt. Harper then tags himself in. Reigns with a big suplex on Harper. Tag to Ambrose who dropkicks Harper against the ropes. Harper with a quick dropkick on Ambrose and tag to Wyatt. Wyatt with elbows to the head of Ambrose. Ambrose and Wyatt with body shots to each other on the top rope. Ambrose with a head butt to Wyatt. Ambrose fights off Harper. Wyatt with a huge right hand sending Ambrose falling to the outside.

-Commercial Break-

Back live, we see Wyatt with a headlock on Ambrose. Ambrose is fighting to his feet and catches Wyatt with a boot in the corner. Wyatt fires back with a big clothesline. Tag to Harper who scoop slams Ambrose. Harper with another scoop slam. Ambrose fires back with a scoop slam of his own on Harper. Harper with a big boot to Reigns on the ring apron. Ambrose with a swinging neckbreaker on Harper. Hot tag to Orton. Tag to Wyatt. Orton with clotheslines to Wyatt. Snap powerslam by Orton. Orton knocks Sheamus off the ring apron. Orton with a backbreaker on Wyatt after countering. Orton with a DDT on Wyatt using the ropes. Orton is firing up the crowd in San Jose. Harper drops Orton. Ambrose dropkicks Harper and then goes for a suicide dive. Harper counters with a big boot. Reigns with a Superman punch to Harper. Reigns wants the tag. Sheamus tags himself in. Tag to Reigns. Reigns with a samoan drop on Sheamus. Reigns with repeated clotheslines to Sheamus in the corner and a shot to Harper. Reigns clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope. Reigns with a kick to the head of Sheamus avoiding Harper. Reigns also gets in a kick on Wyatt. Reigns with an uppercut to Harper who falls over the announce table. Sheamus rolls in as Reigns does as well. Superman punch to Wyatt. Sheamus rolls up Reigns. Reigns kicks out. Superman punch to Sheamus. Harper with a superkick to Reigns. Ambrose levels Harper with a big clothesline. Wyatt with Sister Abigail, Ambrose counters, suicide dive to Harper, RKO on Wyatt, spear to Sheamus, Reigns hooks the leg and gets the pinfall. All three men celebrate the win.

Winners: Randy Orton, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose

After the match, we see a shot of Paige backstage watching with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The Stone Cold Podcast is live next on the WWE Network. We then get a replay of the main event leading to the finish with Roman Reigns getting the pinfall on Sheamus.

Back live, Orton, Reigns and Ambrose celebrate the main event win.
