No disqualification match – Liv Morgan vs. Sonya Deville
The bell rings and we are under way. Sonya with a right hand on Liv. Sonya to the outside and she grabs a kendo stick but Liv jumps off the steel steps and hits Sonya with a meteora. Liv and Sonya with a tug of war over the stick as Sonya goes for a swing but Liv moves out of the way and kicks Sonya. Liv gets back in the ring. Liv runs to the ropes but Sonya hits her with the kendo stick. Sonya with the kendo stick on Liv’s face.
Sonya lets go of it and Liv hits Sonya with the stick and cracks it. Liv to the outside of the ring and she grabs a table. Sonya with a baseball slide. She throws Liv back into the ring. Sonya pushes the table back under the ring. Sonya onto the ring apron as Liv trips her up. Liv with a suicide dive. Liv back in the ring and another suicide dive. Liv throws Sonya into the steel steps. Liv grabs the table from under the ring. Sonya from behind kicks Liv into the table. Liv gets up and onto the ring apron. Sonya on the ring apron behind her as she grabs her. Liv with elbows to the face as she falls onto Sonya and they fall through the table.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Sonya with a flying knee off the top rope. She goes for the cover but Liv kicks out. Sonya goes to the outside of the ring and she grabs and throws several steel chairs from under the ring into the ring. Sonya gets in the ring as Liv hits her with a chair. Liv with a splash in the corner. A flying running knee onto Sonya. Liv with the double knees to the face. She goes for the cover but Sonya kicks out. Liv places Sonya on the top rope with the chairs below them. Right hands by Sonya as she slides under Liv and she hits Liv with a powerbomb onto the chairs. She goes for the cover but Liv kicks out. Sonya slams Liv’s face into the steel chairs.
Sonya goes for the Devil’s Advocate but Liv reverses it into a cover but Sonya kicks out. Liv with the double knees to the face. Liv with the Oblivion into the chairs. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Liv Morgan
Megan Morant is backstage with Emma. She tells Megan it has been five years since she stepped foot into a WWE ring and she wasn’t sure if it would happen again. When she accepted Ronda’s challenge, her heart was beating through her chest. As she is talking, in comes Xia Li. She tells Emma the only thing she proved is that she is weak. Emma tells her that number one, that was Ronda Rousey. And number two, she hits Xia Li with a forearm to the face.
-Commercial Break-
A video hyping up the the Viking Raiders airs.
LA Knight walks down to the ring and starts telling Samantha, the ring announcer, that she didn’t know his hometown a few weeks ago. As he is talking, Ricochet with a splash off the top rope. He throws LA Knight into the ring and Ricochet with a spinning elbow.
Ricochet vs. LA Knight
The referee calls for the bell and we are under way. An uppercut from Ricochet. He runs to the ropes but LA Knight with an elbow to the face. He sends Ricochet to the ropes but Ricochet with a modified hurricanrana. LA Knight rolls to the outside of the ring. Ricochet grabs him and LA Knight on the ring apron but he hangs Ricochet up on the top rope. LA Knight gets in the ring and a right hand onto Ricochet. LA Knight climbs the top rope. He goes for a moon sault but Ricochet moves out of the way. LA Knight to the outside.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Ricochet with a right hand onto LA Knight but LA Knight trips him onto the second rope. LA Knight with a knee to the face. He gets on the ring apron and flies over the top rope and hits a shoulder tackle onto Ricochet. He goes for the cover but Ricochet kicks out. A headlock by LA Knight but Ricochet gets to his feet.
LA Knight with a right hand. He throws Ricochet to the ropes and Ricochet with a flying clothesline. Right hands by Ricochet. LA Knight in the corner and Ricochet with a chop to the chest. He goes to throw LA Knight to the turnbuckle but LA Knight reverses it and Ricochet chest first into the turnbuckle. LA Knight with a neckbreaker. He goes for the cover but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet climbs the top rope but Ricochet jumps and lands a hurricanrana off the top rope. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Ricochet with a cross body off the top rope. Ricochet with a standing moon sault. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Ricochet climbs the top rope, he jumps but LA Knight moves out of the way. Ricochet lands on his feet, he rolls LA Knight but LA Knight reverses it, LA Knight with the cover as he gets his hand on the rope for leverage and gets the pin.
Winner: LA Knight
The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn are backstage. Zayn says at Crown Jewel they are going to defend their titles and win. Jey tells Zayn they are going to the ring to tell the Brutes what is going to happen at Crown Jewel. Zayn says they spoke about it but if he can not do that. There is no reason for him to do that. They get the win against The Brutes at Crown Jewel and they are closer to the tag team title record. Jey says this isn’t a Bloodline thing, this is an Uso thing. They were tag team champions before him and they will be tag team champions long after he is gone. Jimmy tells Sami that he has a point as Zayn tells them not to leave.
-Commercial Break-
Bray Wyatt is backstage. He says he is not the type of person who likes to share their feelings. The concept is brand new to him. What makes it even harder for him is that when people play with him like that. When people interrupt him when he is trying to do something that is incredibly hard for him. As he is talking, there are people yelling backstage. Wyatt sees a WWE official and he tells him that while he is trying to do his job, Bray is trying to do his job too.
Wyatt says it’s like when you see someone in traffic who bothers you and you start thinking of what you would do if you had them for 30 seconds. But he can’t get that out of his head. He can’t stop thinking about it. He needs the WWE Official to look him in the eyes and apologize to him that he didn’t mean to come in. He wants the WWE official to tell him he is sorry. The WWE official says he is sorry, he didn’t mean to. Throughout the segment, cryptic images flash on screen. Wyatt tells the official to please leave as images of Uncle Howdy are on screen.
Out come the Usos to the ring. Jey says the Bloodline is now in your city. Jimmy tells Jey that they are on their way, history making and it starts at Crown Jewel. They are going to be the longest reigning tag team champions ever. Jey says and it starts with the Brawling Brutes. They tell the Brutes that they are the two’s and the Usos are the one’s. Out come The New Day.
Kofi and Xavier tell them to stop. Kofi says if he is being honest, they are rooting for the Brawling Brutes. Woods tells them that if by some Bloodline stroke of luck and they retain their championships, they need them to understand one thing. When they are on the plane flying back home, they will have the longest reigning WWE tag team champions ready to protect their record. Kofi says they got next because New Day rocks.
Both tag teams are face to face as Ridge and Butch attack The Usos from behind. The Brawling Brutes stomp on Jey and The New Day stomp on Jimmy. Out come Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn. They even the odds for the Bloodline. The Usos go for the Uso splash but Butch with a sheleighleigh hits the Usos and Zayn with it. Solo Sikoa hates Butch with the Spinning Solo.
We cut backstage and Kayla is with Rey Mysterio. He tells her that he loves competing in WWE. It’s part of who he is. It’s something he has always shared with his son. He misses his son but he won’t give up. He wants to show everyone that even when the worse happens, he has to keep going on. He can still feel Gunther’s chop from last week. But that rage he has will help him chop Gunther down and become the new Intercontinental champion.
-Commercial Break-
Shayna Baslzer with Ronda Rousey vs. Natalya
The bell rings and we are under way. Natalya with a head lock as Shayna throws her to the ropes but Natalya with a shoulder tackle. An arm bar by Natalya in the middle of the ring but Shayna reverses it into an arm bar. Shayna goes to stomp on Natalya’s elbow but Natalya moves out of the way. Natalya goes for the cover but Shayna kicks out. Both women up and Shayna with a knee to the face. Shayna stomps on Natalya in the corner. Shayna stomps on Natalya’s arm.
Shayna with a head lock but Natalya gets to her feet. Natalya with a kick followed by right hands. Natalya with a drop kick. She goes for the cover but Shayna kicks out. Natalya goes for a suplex but Shayna reverses it into a cover as Natalya kicks out. Natalya with a clothesline. She goes for the cover but Shayna kicks out. Natalya goes for the sharpshooter but Shayna kicks her away and Shayna with the Kirifuda Clutch as Natalya fades and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Shayna Baszler
Ronda gets in the ring as Shauna lowers her knee pad and kicks Natalya in the face.
-Commercial Break-
MVP is standing in the ring. He says he was pleased when he found out that Braun Strowman would be in action tonight. He says he used his connections to get some opponents for Strowman. He got five opponents for Strowman. Out comes five jobbers to the ring. As they are walking down to the ring, Strowman runs down and shoulder tackles them all.
Strowman gets in the ring as MVP rolls out of the ring. Strowman chases him and MVP tries to him him with his cane but Strowman blocks it. Strowman breaks MVP’s cane and he throws MVP into the barricade. He throws MVP in the ring and lifts him up. Strowman with a running powerslam. Strowman hits him with two more running powerslams.
Kayla is backstage with Gunther and Imperium. Gunther says tonight he will step in the ring and successfully defend his title with dignity, respect and honor. Rey Mysterio has got no honor, that’s why his son turned his son on him. One thing will never change and that is him being the WWE Intercontinental Champion.
-Commercial Break-
WWE Intercontinental Championship match – Gunther (c) with Imerpium vs. Rey Mysterio
The bell rings and we are under way. Rey pushes Gunther as Gunther chases Rey in the ring. Rey kicks Gunther. He climbs the second rope and jumps but Gunther catches him. He slams Rey and Rey on the ring apron. Gunther to the outside and he hits Rey with a chop to the chest.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Gunther goes for a slam but Rey blocks it. He lifts Rey on his shoulder but Rey ties up Gunther’s arms. Rey flips him back and Gunther slams onto the mat. Rey with right hands. He runs to the ropes and Rey jumps off the second rope but Gunther catches him. Rey with a sleeper hold but Gunther slams Rey onto the mat. Rey climbs the second rope and once more he jumps onto Gunther but Gunther climbs the second rope. He jumps back and both men fall onto the mat.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Rey on the ring apron. Gunther tries to rip the mask off Mysterio but the referee breaks it up. A kick to the face by Gunther. Rey back in the ring. Gunther tries to rip Rey’s mask off in the corner but Rey with a right hand. Gunther with a right hand. He lifts Rey up but Rey with right hands and he falls onto Gunther.
Rey with a kick to the face. He jumps off the second rope and a bulldog onto Gunther. Rey on the ring apron as he climbs the top rope. A senton onto Gunther. Rey with a moonsault off the second rope. He goes for the cover but Gunther kicks out. Rey with a drop kick and Gunther falls on the second rope.
Rey hits him with the 619. He climbs the top rope but Gunther throws him off the top rope. Gunther climbs the top rope but Rey with a right hand. Rey climbs the second rope but Gunther pushes him down. Rey gets back up and right hands by Rey. He climbs the top rope and goes for a hurricanrana but Gunther blocks it. Gunther jumps but Rey reverse the powerbomb into a hurricanrana. He goes for the cover but Gunther kicks out. Rey climbs the top rope and jumps but Gunther catches him. Rey reverses it into a sunset flip cover but Gunther kicks out. Rey climbs the top rope and he goes for a frog splash but Gunther moves out of the way. Gunther hits Rey with a drop kick and hits him with the powerbomb. He goes for the cover but Rey kicks out. Gunther with a chop to the chest. He goes for another powerbomb but Rey reverses it throwing Gunther into the second rope. He goes for the 619 but Gunther hits him with a boot to the face. Rey gets back up and Gunther with another clothesline. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Still WWE Intercontinental champion, Gunther
