Hulk Hogan is out first to kick off the show. He can’t think of a better way to kick off SummerSlam in Los Angeles with “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan. Hogan talks about the global broadcast of the show live right now on the WWE Network. He puts over the $9.99 price as the crowd chants along. Hogan mentions all the rest of the PPV events you will get at the same price for the rest of the year. He closes and heads to the back.

A video package runs focusing on tonight’s SummerSlam PPV.

A graphic opening hits welcoming us to SummerSlam. We go live to the Staples Center in Los Angeles where a huge display of pyro goes off.

WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz is out next and says the crowd is blessed to be in front of a real life movie star tonight. He says he will make Dolph Ziggler the WWE version of the Lakers tonight, a loser.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Miz with an early shoulder block on Ziggler. Ziggler with early pin attempts as well that result in two counts. Ziggler with chops to the back of Miz. Miz fires back sending Ziggler with force to the corner. Miz with a big kick to the face of Ziggler. Miz catches Ziggler with another big boot as Ziggler bounced off the ropes. Ziggler fires back with clotheslines, a splash in the corner and neckbreaker. Ziggler counters a Figure Four attempt and then drops Miz with a huge superkick. Ziggler gets a close two count. Miz bails, grabs his title and Ziggler with a baseball slide that catches Miz. Ziggler tosses Miz in, Miz cuts off Ziggler and gets the Figure Four locked in. Zigger eventually gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Ziggler with a Fameasser. Miz pops back up from the impact and somehow connects with a Skull Crushing Finale on Ziggler for a close two count. Ziggler avoids a kick and connects with the Zig Zag. Ziggler gets the pin.

Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and JBL discuss the latest between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella. Footage from RAW on Monday is played of Stephanie getting Brie arrested.

Backstage, Tom Phillips is with Brie Bella. She talked about doing some real thinking while in jail and how Stephanie called her husband a B+ player, tortured her sister Nikki and paid Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist to lie. “She has put myself, my family and everyone in WWE through hell. I’m going to take out that she beast because that’s what’s best for business.”

AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige

Paige extends her hand. AJ grabs her hand and tries to bite it. She grabs Paige by the hair as well. Paige bails and we see that AJ pulled some of her hair out. On the outside, Paige recovers dropping AJ face first off the ring barricade. Paige rolls AJ back in, mounts her and starts to headbutt her repeatedly. AJ recovers and jumps off the top turnbuckle to the outside taking out Paige. The referee starts the count. At six AJ rolls Paige back in. AJ with a big kick to the head and Paige kicks out after two. Paige fires back with a kick to the head of AJ. AJ gets the Black Widow locked on. Paige counters out dropping AJ with a DDT. Paige hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner and new WWE Divas Champion: Paige

After the match, Paige grabs AJ Lee and holds her smiling. Paige then grabs the title and skips around the ring holding it up smiling.

The WWE 2K15 commercial featuring Sting airs.

Flag Match
Rusev w/ Lana vs. Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter

Before the match, Lana gets on the mic and tells the crowd to shut up. She said tonight they dedicate this match to Vladimir Putin. Lana called Hollywood fantasy land and Rusev is the reality. Members of the military are out next to cut Lana off marching to the stage. They help lead Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter to the ring. Swagger attacks Rusev before the match officially begins. Swagger kicks Rusev in the face and gets the Patriot Lock applied. The referee is trying to settle things and pulls Swagger off. Rusev is favoring his ankle. Lana is saying no match to the referee. The referee calls for the bell to start the match.

Swagger charges Rusev in the corner throwing big knees. Swagger puts Rusev’s bad ankle on the legs and starts kicking it. A loud “WE THE PEOPLE” chant starts up. Rusev bails and Swagger tosses him back in. Rusev bails again and Swagger blasts him with a huge clothesline to the floor. Back in the ring, Rusev gets his knees up countering a splash from Swagger. Swagger with rights and then eats a knee from Rusev. Rusev is favoring his ankle each time he walks. Rusev with big knees to Swagger in the corner. Rusev with a bear hug to Swagger to slow things down. Swagger attempts a belly-to-belly and holds his hurt ribs from the knee shots. Rusev then drops his body weight over the back of Swagger. Swagger with a quick belly-to-belly planting Rusev. Swagger drops Rusev again with a boot to the face. We see a shot of Lana glaring at him at ringside. Swagger connects with his corner splash over Rusev. Rusev kicks out after two. Rusev catches Swagger with an elbow. Swagger counters a kick into a Patriot Lock that Rusev fights out of. Rusev with a huge kick to the ribs of Swagger. Rusev follows with a kick to the head. Lana yells at Rusev to crush. Rusev tries to apply the Camel Clutch, but has to break it favoring his ankle. He applies a modified version with one knee down. Swagger is fighting out, counters and gets the Patriot Lock applied. Rusev is screaming out in pain. Rusev is reaching for the bottom rope. He gets close, turns over, hits Swagger with right hands and kicks to the body. Rusev with a twisting kick to the head of Swagger who drops down and favors his ankle again. Rusev bounces off the ropes and drops over Swagger with a huge splash. Rusev locks on the Camel Clutch and is in pain putting pressure on his ankle. Swagger passes out. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Rusev

After the match, Zeb Colter gets in the ring to check on Jack Swagger. Lana stands over Colter laughing at him. Rusev then kicks Colter and starts laughing. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Per the stipulation of the flag match, the Russian national anthem is played as Rusev and Lana celebrate in the ring.

A video package runs hyping Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins.

Back live, we see the lumberjacks surrounding the ring.

Lumberjack Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

The bell rings and both Ambrose and Rollins exchange shots. Ambrose drops Rollins early with an elbow. Ambrose tosses Rollins to the other side of the ring, starts to roll out and the lumberjacks toss him back in. Ambrose tosses Rollins out and the lumberjacks toss him back in. Ambrose is tossed out and he takes a few shots at the lumberjacks before sliding back in. Rollins sends Ambrose face first into the turnbuckle and then kicks him out. The lumberjacks then start kicking Ambrose and toss him back in. In the ring, Rollins with a scoop slam and knee drop on Ambrose. Rollins gets a triangle choke applied on Ambrose to keep the action grounded. On the ring apron, Ambrose gives Rollins a suplex into the lumberjacks! The lumberjacks try to separate the two when Rollins runs at Ambrose. Ambrose gives Rollins a back body drop over the ring barricade. The lumberjacks toss Ambrose back in. Ambrose with a suicide dive taking out the lumberjacks! Ambrose then jumps from the announcers table and takes out Rollins in the timekeepers area. Rollins is trying to bail through the arena when Ambrose cuts him off. Ambrose and Rollins brawl into the crowd when we see a shot of Kane walking down. He’s yelling at the lumberjacks to get them back in the ring. The lumberjacks catch up with Ambrose and then more try to cut off Rollins. Rollins is trying to leave when the lumberjacks cut him off near the entrance ramp area and drag him back to ringside. They have Rollins up in the air and Ambrose jumps off the top turnbuckle in the ring taking them all out! Ambrose tosses Rollins in the ring, goes for Dirty Deets and Ambrose eats a kick from Rollins. Ambrose bounces off the ropes and levels Rollins with a huge clothesline. Ambrose with the Curp Stomp on Rollins! As Ambrose goes for the cover, Kane jumps in and breaks it up. Goldust gets in Kane’s face and Kane drops Goldust with a shot. The lumberjacks then jump in and all start to brawl. The Wyatt’s are left and Ambrose tosses both out. Rollins is back in with a shot to the head of Ambrose using the “Money in the Bank” briefcase. Rollins gets the pinfall.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Video is shown of Chris Jericho’s return to WWE being attacked by The Wyatt Family. We then see footage of a face-to-face interview between Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho that aired Monday night on RAW.

Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt

Chris Jericho with rights and chops early on to Bray Wyatt. Jericho springboards off the corner and shoulder blocks Wyatt to the floor. Back in the ring, Jericho connects with a cross body from the top turnbuckle. Wyatt is laughing in the corner as he recovers knocking Jericho off the top turnbuckle. At ringside, Wyatt drives his knee into the head of Jericho right into the side of the steel ring steps. Wyatt rolls Jericho back in and covers for a two count. The crowd starts signing and Wyatt smiles. Wyatt presses Jericho’s head against the steel ring post and throws tons of rights. Wyatt backs up and then charges in with a big right hand once again. Wyatt then pulls the head of Jericho into the ropes. Wyatt with a headlock to ground Jericho. Jericho with chops fighting back and follows with a kick to the back of the head of Wyatt. Wyatt with a body splash over Jericho. Jericho catches Wyatt with a dropkick when Wyatt was charging in. Wyatt recovers quickly planting Jericho. Jericho drops rights to get the Walls of Jericho applied, gets Wyatt turned over and the submission locked in. Wyatt reaches and gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Wyatt with a modified face buster on Jericho over the ring apron. Wyatt gets a two count. Wyatt does his crazy walk to freak out Jericho. Jericho with a Codebreaker on Wyatt. Wyatt gets his foot under the bottom rope during Jericho’s pinfall attempt. On the outside, Wyatt with a thumb to the throat of Jericho and then hits Sister Abigail on the ring barricade. Wyatt tosses a lifeless Jericho back in the ring. Wyatt with a second Sister Abigail to Jericho and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match, Bray Wyatt grabs a mic. “Poor…poor Chris Jericho. I guess after all he did find out what it means to follow the buzzards. He’s got the whole world…in his hands. He’s got the whole wide world…in his hands. He’s got the world…in his hands. He’s got the whole world…in his…hands.” Wyatt drops the mic and poses to close the segment.

A video package runs hyping Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella

Brie with a series of arm drags early to Stephanie. Stephanie fights back with shoulder charges and kicks to Brie in the corner. Stephanie mocks Daniel Bryan starting up a “YES!” chant. Stephanie went to slap Brie, but Brie counters and slaps Stephanie instead. Brie goes for the Yes Lock and Stephanie bails. Brie goes for a suicide dive and Stephanie drops her face off the ring apron. Stephanie with a quick DDT on Brie soon after back in the ring. Stephanie puts her foot on the back of Brie and pulls back on her arms. Stephanie then steps on the head of Brie and goes back to the arm submission. Brie kicks Stephanie in the head and shoulders from the mat. Brie with a Lou Thesz Press dropping rights over Stephanie. Brie catches Stephanie with an elbow in the corner. Brie with kicks. Brie drops Stephanie down face first over the mat by her hair. Brie with repeated kicks to the chest of Stephanie. Brie with a missile dropkick to Stephanie from the corner for a two count. We then see Triple H walking down the ramp to the ringside area. Nikki Bella isn’t far behind. Triple H jumps up on the ring apron distracting the referee. Stephanie is going for the Pedigree. Brie counters into the Yes Lock. Triple H pulls the referee out in front of Nikki. Brie with a dropkick through the ropes to Triple H! Brie stands over Triple H and starts a “YES!” chant. Nikki jumps in the ring and gets in Stephanie’s face. Brie and Nikki stare down Stephanie. Nikki then pushes Stephanie aside and decks Brie! The crowd is shocked. Stephanie smiles, picks up Brie and gives her a Pedigree.

Winner: Stephanie McMahon

After the match, a smiling Triple H holds up the arm of Stephanie McMahon as they celebrate. We see a shot of Nikki Bella looking on from ringside with a blank look on her face. We then see highlights of the match and Nikki Bella turning on her sister to setup the finish.

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Reigns with tons of offense early on Orton. Orton blocks two attempts by Reigns to drop 10 right hands in the corner. Reigns then clotheslines Orton over the top rope. On the outside, Orton sends Reigns shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Back in the ring, Reigns with body shots to Orton. Orton with headbutts to Reigns who is sitting up on the top turnbuckle. Orton with a huge superplex on Reigns to the ring below! Reigns takes the back of Orton applying a sleeper. Orton counters that falling back on top of Reigns. Reigns fires up and applies a headlock on Orton from behind again. Orton counters out again with a back suplex. Reigns with a quick samoan drop on Orton. Orton and Reigns exchange shots. Reigns with a series of clotheslines on Orton. Reigns dumps Orton near the corner, leaves the ring and connects with his dropkick to the head. Reigns then sends Orton back first into the ring barricade. Orton counters sending Reigns into the timekeepers barricade. Still on the outside, Orton drops Reigns back first off the announcers table. Back in the ring, Orton drops Reigns off the ropes. Orton with a headbutt to Reigns in the corner. Reigns with a samoan drop on Orton from the top turnbuckle! Reigns is calling for the Superman Punch in the corner. Reigns charges in and connects with the punch on Orton. Reigns backs up looking for his spear. Reigns charges in and Orton counters into a snap powerslam for a close two count. Orton with his DDT on Reigns through the second rope. Reigns blocks an RKO, hits the ropes and Orton catches Reigns an RKO! Reigns kicks out. Orton can’t believe it. Orton goes for his punt to the head. Reigns moves and connects with a huge spear. Reigns gets the pinfall.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Roman Reigns celebrates up on the turnbuckle. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish.

SummerSlam is coming to New York/New Jersey next year.

John Cena (c) vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman

Justin Roberts did introductions for the challenger Brock Lesnar and champion John Cena.

The bell rings and here we go. Cena charges in punching Lesnar in the corner. Cnea wrestles Lesnar down. Lesnar recovers hitting Cena with big body shots. Cena with knees and body shots as Lesnar gets him up in the corner. Lesnar with an F5 on Cena! Lesnar hooks the leg and Cena somehow kicks out. We see a shot of Lesnar and Heyman smiling. Lesnar stands over Cena yelling, “That was your chance! I’m going to kill you!” Lesnar with a german suplex dropping Cena on his head! Lesnar with a second german suplex on Cena. Lesnar drives a huge knee into the side of Cena. Cena tries to fight back and Lesnar moves. Cena fights back with shots to Lesnar in the corner. Lesnar cuts him off and connects with another knee to the ribs. Lesnar drops Cena on the back of his head over the mat with force. Lesnar with another knee to the ribs of Cena. Cena with body shots to Lesnar. Lesnar drives him back down and stands on the hand of Cena. Lesnar with another release german suplex on Cena. Lesnar grabs Cena and executes another release german. Lesnar keeps it going with repeated german suplexes to Cena. JBL is saying the referee may have to stop this. Lesnar with a cover for a two count and then drives another knee into the ribs of Cena. Lesnar with another german suplex. The referee checks on Cena asking if he can continue. Cena gets to his feet and Lesnar drops him with another german suplex. Cena with elbows to Lesnar. Cena drops Lesnar with a right hand, Cena with a clothesline, Lesnar stays up, Lesnar attempts an F5, Cena counters into an AA and Lesnar kicks out! We see a shot of Lesnar sitting up and laughing at Cena. Lesnar is telling Cena to get up. Lesnar with a takedown and right hands to Cena. Lesnar yells at the referee to check on Cena. Lesnar with a german suplex on Cena holding on and Lesnar repeats this three more times. JBL says, “Jesus christ, stop it!” Lesnar repeats with more german suplexes on Cena. Cena trips up Lesnar and gets a headlock choke applied. Lesnar fights out, drops rights, gets Cena up and connects with another F5. Lesnar hooks the leg and gets the pinfall. Lesnar stands up and stares in the camera.

Winner and new WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Brock Lesnar

After the match, Paul Heyman rolls in handing him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belts. We then see highlights from the match leading to the finish. Back live, we see Lesnar with both titles over his shoulder. Heyman says, “You have conquered the WWE Universe!” Michael Cole says Brock Lesnar delivered 16 german suplexes to Cena tonight. The show goes off the air with Lesnar and Heyman heading to the back.
