“Final Resolution” kicks off with a special intro highlighting tonight’s event.

Magnus is looking for both Jeff Hardy and Dixie Carter in the back but the member of the staff he’s asking says he hasn’t seen either. Magnus tells them to get the message to them when they do arrive that he’s got something to say that they’ll want to hear.

Magnus comes down to the ring and he says that he loves this business and that’s why he busts his gut and puts his body through hell because of that love. He says he can’t change where he’s from but he’s proud of the fact that he’s made his living and his career for the past 5 years in America. He says there was some adjusting to do for him and the first thing he learned when he got to America was the power of money. He says that it’s not about the money for him and it’s always been about pride, honor, dignity, and respect, but he wonders if the same can be said for his opponent Jeff Hardy. A “Hardy” chant starts up and Magnus says he’s as big of a fan of Hardy as anyone. He says that Jeff “slayed” his demons but maybe there is one demon still creeping its way into Jeff’s life: greed. He says that everyone saw Jeff having drinks with Dixie last week. The footage is shown on the big screen and Magnus says Jeff Hardy owes everyone an explanation because this match tonight is the most important match of his life, and he won’t let Dixie or Jeff fool him.

Hardy comes down to the ring and Jeff tells Magnus he doesn’t even know him to be questioning his motives for anything. Magnus says this is the biggest night of his life so he won’t let any chances go so Jeff needs to explain himself. He says everyone else may have forgotten all about Jeff’s history but he hasn’t. Magnus reminds everyone about “10-10-10” when Jeff turned and went with Immortal. Jeff says that was a different time and he was a different person then. Magnus says it may have been a different time but it’s the same place, right in the middle of a ring Jeff sold his soul. Magnus says he thinks Jeff might be getting ready to do it again and he says that everyone forgave Jeff for the last time but what will all his “creatures” thing if he sells out again. Some fans start chanting “we don’t care” but Jeff screams at Magnus to worry about his own life, and not to worry about his. Jeff drops the microphone and walks to the back as a confused looking Magnus watches.

Christy Hemme is backstage with Kurt Angle and he says a lot of things have been going on since BFG. He says that Roode has had his number since BFG but tonight is the night that things change. He says he will show everyone that he still has it and he won’t just beat Roode once, he’ll beat him twice. He says that it’s only the beginning for the rest of Kurt’s career.

A video package highlighting the Roode/Angle feud is shown. We’re not warming up in the bullpen tonight, heading straight into the big 2/3 Falls Match!

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage JB hypes up the reveal for the Feast or Fired cases tonight. Chavo Guerrero Jr. walks up and says there is a lot on the line tonight when Zema Ion walks up doing his stupid DJ scratching sound. Chavo reminds Zema that there is a 25% chance that he is getting fired tonight, but there is a 100% chance that if he does that sound again he’s going to get punched in the face.

2/3 Falls Match
“The IT Factor” Bobby Roode vs. “Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle

These two have been feuding pretty hardcore since BFG and Roode has seemingly had the Olympians number the entire time. Angle and Roode lockup and Roode puts Angel in a side headlock, but Angle shoves him into the ropes only to eat a shoulder block for a quick nearfall. Angle sweeps Roode’s legs and covers him for a quick nearfall as well. They lockup again and this time Angle gets Roode in the headlock, but Roode shoves Angle into the ropes only to get run over. Angle hits the ropes again and then Roode leapfrogs him. Angle stops and turns around to attempt the Olympic Slam, but Roode blocks it and goes for a TKO. Angle counters into an attempt at the Ankle Lock but Roode quickly gets to the ropes to break the hold. A “Bobby sucks” chant starts up and then they lockup for a third time but this time Roode ducks under Angle and puts him in a waistlock. Angle reverses it and then takes Roode down and holds onto the waistlock on the mat. Roode fights to his feet and break the hold with back elbows, and then he hits the ropes only to get caught with a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex! Roode rolls out to the floor but Angle follows him and hits him with a forearm. Angle puts the boots to Roode on the floor and then tries to toss him back in the ring, but Roode body shots him and then tries to slam him into the guardrail. Angle blocks it and shoves Roode into the guardrail before tossing him back into the ring. Angle charges at Roode but Roode gets his boot up and then goes for a clothesline, but Angle ducks it and hits the Rolling German Suplexes! Angle goes for the Olympic Slam again but Roode counters into an armdrag. Roode then pulls the referee in front of him as Angle charged at him. Angle shoves the referee away and then Roode kicks Angle in the balls behind the referee’s back and hits the TKO! 1…2…3!

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from the break the second fall is ongoing and Roode connects with a clothesline on Angle. Roode hits a Vertical Suplex and then he goes for a Knee Drop, but Angle rolls out of the way and then blocks a right hand. Angle hits a series of rights and then attempts to whip Roode into the ropes, but Roode reverse it only to eat a Forearm Smash from Angle! Angle hits a series of clotheslines and then a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex! Angle charges at Roode in the corner but Angle sidesteps him and Angle nails the ring post with his shoulder! Roode quickly goes for the Crossface, but Angle counters into the Olympic Slam! 1…2…3 and the match is tied up 1-1!

Roode rolls out to the floor and starts to walk away but Angle stops him and tosses him back into the ring. Rood swings at Angle but he ducks and hits the Rolling German Suplexes again! Roode blocks the third one and hits a series of elbows. Angle charges at Roode again but this time Roode catches him with the Canadian Crossface! Angle reverses into a pinfall for a nearfall, but Roode is able to roll Angle back over into a pin of his own for a nearfall. Roode then goes for a Backslide but Angle blocks it and attempts a clothesline only to get caught in the Crossface again! Roode screams at Angle to tap but Angle is able to again counters into a pinfall attempt, but Roode rolls back over into the Crossface. Angle again fights out and up to his feet this time and into an Olympic Slam attempt. Roode counters into a Flying Armbar and Roode goes right back to the Crossface! Angle’s lip is busted open as he fights the hold. Angle frees his arm and grabs Roode’s ankle countering into the Ankle Lock! Roode is able to fight to the ropes but Angle pulls him back and puts Roode in his own Crossface! Roode looks like he’s about to tap but is able to fight up to his feet and counter into an attempt at the TKO again! Roode blocks it and hits the Olympic Slam! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out! Roode rolls out to the floor and Kurt follows him knocking him down. Angle tosses Roode back into the ring and Roode tries to crawl back out but Angle catches him by the foot and pulls him back to the center of ht erring in the Ankle Lock! Roode counters with a roll through into a pin! Roode holds onto the ropes, 1…2…3!

Winner: Roode 2 falls to 1

JB again hypes up the Feast or Fired reveal backstage. Gunner and James Storm walk up and JB asks Gunner about stepping over Storm to win the briefcase. Gunner says Storm would have done the same thing to him and Storm says they’ll see if his gamble paid off. Storm reminds Gunner that he might be fired but Gunner says “maybe not” and walks away.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from the break highlights of the 2/3 Falls Match are shown and then Angle is shown in the back in disbelief at his loss. Angle says Roode isn’t out wrestling him but he continues to outsmart him over and over. Angle says he gives Roode credit but his pride won’t let him admit that Roode has his number. Angle says he doesn’t know what to do and he needs to think about what his next move is. He says he just doesn’t know.

A vignette highlighting Gail Kim and Madison Rayne’s history is shown. Madison says she’s back now and she’s coming for that Knockouts Title.

JB again hypes up the Feast or Fired reveal as EC3 walks up and says JB owes him a match. EC3 says he’s a carter and the only pink slip Carter’s get are the ones for a fleet of cars. EC3 reminds us that he knows the people in charge around here even if he got the pink slip.

EC3 talks to Dixie on the phone but she says that she can’t do anything about this because even she doesn’t even know what’s in the briefcases and there is nothing she can do about it.

Backstage EY talks about the Abyss issues and he says the experiment continues tonight. He holds up a gift that’s obviously a chair wrapped up and says he has some gifts for Park tonight.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Eric Young comes down to the ring where a table is set up with some presents as a vignette airs showcasing the Abyss/Park stuff. EY asks Joseph Park to come out and he obliges EY. EY again says Park is Abyss but Park says this past week has all been a blur to him and he doesn’t know what to believe. Park says that his name is Joseph Park but EY reminds him about him turning into Abyss last week and every time he bleeds. Park says he blacks out when that happens and that is Joseph Park not Abyss. EY says they’re going to try a new two part science experiment. He says one part of it is next week he will face Bad Influence in a Monsters Ball Match! Park says that EY has lost it because that is his brothers match not Park’s. Park refuses to do the match and EY says he knew he would say that and here comes the second part of the experiment.

He hands Park one of the presents and it’s a steel chair and Park says he uses those in a courtroom. He hands Park another one and this time it’s a bag of thumbtacks. The last present is unwrapped and it’s a bunch of barbed wire. Park says he appreciates all this but it doesn’t do anything for him and he’s going to stick to his original answer, and the answer is no, he won’t be a part of the Monsters Ball. EY says he saved the best present for last and tells him it’s under the ring. Park pulls Janice, the 2×4 with nails in it, out from under the ring. Park stares at it and then he says “I’ll do it” and walks off while still staring at Janice.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Samoa Joe walks into Jeff Hardy’s locker room and Joe says there is no reason for Hardy to look as down as he does right now unless what Magnus said struck a nerve. Joe says he understands and with everyone doing whatever they can to get ahead he can understand a shortcut, but he never thought Jeff was that type of person to take that bait. Jeff says if Joe is looking for an explanation to his meeting with Dixie he isn’t getting one, and nobody is.

JB is with the Feast or Fired winners as they are about to reveal who won (or lost) what. Dixie Carter walks in and welcomes everyone to this. They are doing this almost like its The Apprentice or something with some corny music playing in the background. JB says only the law firm of Smith & Stone know the contents of the briefcases and the order that they will be revealed. Zema Ion is up first and his shot is for the X-Division Title!

Next up is Gunner and he will receive a World Heavyweight Title shot! Gunner and Storm stare each other down and then Gunner simply walks away with Storm following behind looking pissed. Chavo and EC3 are left and one of these two will get a Tag Title shot while the other is fired. Before either opens the briefcase Sting walks in which pisses Dixie off. Sting says he asked EC3 to do something great and now his legacy is on the line, and then Sting says EC3 and the word “legacy” in the same sentence makes him nauseous. He says that what Dixie is doing to TNA also makes him nauseous. Sting asks Chavo if he ever had anything handed to him and he says that the Guerrero’s have had to work twice as hard to get what they’ve got. Sting says that the Guerrero name is wrapped in legacy and reminds EC3 there is a 50/50 chance that he’s about to be fired. Sting offers EC3 a way out and says he will take the fate of whatever is in that case if EC3 will fight him. EC3 says he’ll take the briefcase instead and Sting calls him a coward before leaving.

Chavo and EC3 open their briefcases at the same time and EC3 gets the title shot while Chavo gets the pink slip. Sting consoles Chavo while EC3 and Dixie celebrate. Sting screams at Dixie and says that this is the beginning of the end for EC3 and Dixie disgusts him. Dixie laughs as Sting walks out of the room and says Sting is so overly dramatic. Chavo is left with his head in his hands as they walk out.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage Magnus is getting ready for the World Title match and he says there are a lot of questions about Jeff but he doesn’t seem to want to answer any of them. Magnus says his focus is on the World Title.

Lei’D Tapa & Gail Kim vs. ODB & Madison Rayne

This is our first chance to see Madison back in the ring since she left TNA earlier in the year due to pregnancy. Tapa grabs Madison by the throat as the bell rings and tosses her back. Tapa charges at her but Madison ducks her and locks in a waistlock. Tapa simply tosses Madison to the side and then she grabs Madison by the hair but Madison kicks her in the gut. Tapa swings at her but Madison rolls underneath her and then tags ODB into the match. ODB and Tapa lockup and Tapa forces ODB into the corner. They separate but then Tapa swings at ODB but ODB ducks and lights Tapa up with chops. ODB tries to whip Tapa but Tapa blocks it and kicks ODB. Tapa hits a Scoop Slam and then tags in Gail. Gail puts the boots to ODB and tosses ODB into the corner. Gail puts the boots to her again and then hits a Corner Splash before slamming ODB to the mat by her hair. Gail hits a European Uppercut and then chokes ODB in the corner with her boot. Gail whips ODB into the opposite corner and then goes for a Splash but ODB moves and then hits Gail with a Press Slam! Gail hits another clothesline and then attempts to whip Gail into the ropes, but Gail reverses it only to eat a Spear from Madison! Madison slams Gail’s head into the mat repeatedly but then Tapa runs in and pulls Madison off. ODB jumps on Tapa’s back and then Tapa flips ODB off her back over the top rope to the floor! Tapa follows her to the outside and Gail hits a Shortarm Clothesline on Madison! Gail talks trash to Madison and then goes for the Eat Defeat but Madison counters into a backslide! 1…2…3!

Winners: ODB & Madison via pinfall (backslide)

Sting approaches Jeff Hardy in the back and Jeff says he hopes this isn’t going to be another lecture but Sting says he just wants to talk to Jeff. Sting says he know what it’s like to be second guessed and Jeff doesn’t owe anyone an answer. Sting says he has to stay true to himself but Jeff says Sting doesn’t fully understand. Sting says he does and then walks away.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A video of Rockstar Spud trying to explain himself to Dixie last week on Impact 365 is shown. Dixie is freaking out about AJ still having the World Title and she tells Spud to find someone that can make them a World Title belt quickly.

A video package highlighting the World Title Tournament is shown.

Jeff Hardy walks out and says Magnus talks about Hardy doing what he did at 10-10-10 and it was nice having the power but everyone knows how that thing ended at Victory Road 2011. He says those mistakes will not be repeated. Jeff says he did meet with Dixie Carter and he thought about his past but more importantly he thought about his future, his wife, and his daughter. Jeff says he loves entertaining the fans and that Dixie wanted to corrupt him with money and power, but he knows what also come along with that it would mean that she would own him. Jeff says no one owns him and he told Dixie that she could take her money and stick it. He says he’s going to win the World Title and represent it like AJ Styles but then Dixie’s music interrupts him.

Dixie says if Jeff wants to compare himself to AJ Styles they can do that right now. She says just like AJ everything he and his family have he owes to her. Dixie says she is in the one that stood by Jeff after all of his mistakes and he says he appreciated that but Dixie screams at him not to interrupt her again. Dixie says she stood by him not the “pathetic creatures” and fans who abandoned him. Dixie says Jeff needs to think is best for her company and not what is best for his wife and little girl. She says if he doesn’t he can be out of a job just like AJ Styles. Dixie asks who will sell Jeff’s merchandise and his CDs and artwork. She says Jeff needs Dixie a lot more than she needs him.
