Bray Wyatt

Update (8:05 p.m. ET): WWE has issued a statement confirming the injury.

Bray Wyatt appears to have suffered some sort of an ankle injury during WWE’s live event in Milan, Italy on Wednesday in what was the first event of WWE’s upcoming European tour through April 23.

According to live reports, Wyatt suffered the injury around two minutes into the main event against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Wyatt tried to walk it off and was clearly in pain. A video on Facebook posted by Tuttowrestling.com shows Wyatt speaking with a member of WWE’s medical staff at ringside. Shortly afterwards, the referee calls the match and Wyatt is helped out of the ring.

WWE ended up sending out Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan to attack Reigns to continue the show. The Usos and The Dudley Boyz eventually got involved to start up a brawl. Reigns put Bubba Ray Dudley through a table and then cut a promo afterwards saying he didn’t wish an injury on anyone. To add even more time to the event, Sheamus walked out demanding a title shot and eventually took a spear from Reigns after attempting a Brogue Kick. You can check out a video clip below courtesy of Tuttowrestling.com around the moment Wyatt suffered his injury.

WWE has yet to comment officially about the injury.
