“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video kicks off the show that recaps an interview Michael Cole had with Randy Orton. Orton explained his reasons for attacking Seth Rollins last Monday on RAW. Orton talked about tricking Rollins and The Authority into believing he’d rejoin them only to brutally attack him. Footage is shown of the vicious attack from last week. Cole asked Orton what he would do on tonight’s RAW. Orton said he’d find Seth Rollins, spit in his face, and challenge him to a match at WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins addresses Randy Orton’s attack on him

Seth Rollins’ music is playing as we go into the arena. Rollins is standing in the ring with J&J Security, Kane, and Big Show. Some of the crowd is booing him, and the other half is chanting his name. Rollins is seething with anger. Rollins says the crowd loved what happened to him last week, and they respond in the affirmative. Rollins says that is called betrayal. There is no other way to describe it. Not a lot of people understand what it’s like to be betrayed because for that to happen, you have to actually be a somebody. For nobodies like the people in the crowd, it’s called getting screwed over. For important people like him who have actually made it out of Iowa and made something of their lives, it is betrayal. That’s exactly what happened to him, courtesy of “The Viper” Randy Orton. The crowd chants, “RKO!” It wasn’t just that he betrayed him; it was how he did it. Orton stalked him like an animal and mocked him while he was suffering. Rollins says he trusted and vouched for Orton. He called Orton a friend and a family member, and Orton betrayed him. Rollins says they’re probably thinking that’s what he did to The Shield, but it’s nothing like what he did to them. What he did to The Shield was a sound business decision made to secure his future. The crowd boos him and chants, “You sold out.” What Orton did was so much different. It was in cold blood and without the tiniest trace of human decency or empathy. Orton is borderline sociopathic.

For three weeks, Orton schemed and conned his way back into The Authority. Orton made fools out of everyone, including Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. If it wasn’t for their generosity, none of this would have ever happened. It disgusts him. Big Show is seen shaking his head. Big Show takes the microphone, and the crowd loudly boos him. Big Show says he owes Rollins an apology. Big Show says he feels like he’s personally responsible for what happened to him, and it breaks his heart. Big Show sounds like he’s ready to cry. He thinks Rollins is the future and the best talent in WWE. What Randy Orton did was just cruel. Big Show thought Orton could get past his petty grievances and see the bigger picture, but Orton is just a snake in the grass. Big Show says it doesn’t matter what kind of snake is in the grass, he crushes it under his boot. He is a giant. Kane takes the microphone and says he may not be as gullible as Big Show is, but Orton sucked him in as well. Kane says it won’t happen again, and Orton will pay for what he did.

Jamie Noble says he knows he’s considered the secret weapon of The Authority. When Orton came, he didn’t see a snake. He smelled a rat. Orton has put his hands on him several times, but that’s ok. He doesn’t care about himself. He cares about Rollins. Rollins isn’t just his boss; he’s his friend. What Orton did was inexcusable and hurt him too. The person it hurt the most was Joey Mercury. Mercury sadly takes the microphone and hands it back. Mercury then buries his head in Big Show’s chest and appears to cry.

Rollins says it did hurt, but the thing that’ll hurt the most when this is all finished is Randy Orton’s ego. For years and years, Orton has thought he could get away with whatever he wanted whenever he wanted with no consequences. Orton has never messed with anyone like him. Orton wants to challenge him to a match at WrestleMania (the crowd does a “YES” chant), and he accepts, but only under one condition. Orton must agree to face him tonight in this very ring, live on Monday Night RAW. The crowd roars in approval. Orton likes to call himself the face of the WWE, but he is nothing more than a scheming…

Randy Orton’s music hits, and he makes his way out to the stage. Orton says he’s not the face of the WWE. He’s just a guy who made Rollins look like a little bitch. Orton says he’s also the guy who will beat Rollins’ ass tonight because he accepts his challenge to face him in the main event of RAW tonight! Orton says he knows when he comes down to the ring later, it’ll be 5-on-1. Rollins needs all the help he can get because he has enough venom for each member of The Authority. If by chance he suffers a beating at the hands of The Authority, it’ll be sweeter because he’ll get his hands on Rollins at WrestleMania. If Rollins is as smart as he thinks, he’ll finish the job tonight. If he makes it to WrestleMania, he’ll end the future of WWE. Orton’s music hits, and he stares at Rollins.

Michael Cole, JBL, and Booker T talk about what just happened. They then talk about John Cena and Rusev having a contract signing for the WWE United States Championship match at WrestleMania. We’ll also hear from Brock Lesnar, which Michael Cole says is a controversial interview.

It’s just like Stephanie said. They need to see the big picture. They represent The Authority. How stupid can Kane and Big Show be? Big Show gets in Rollins’ face and warns him to watch what he says. Kane says Stephanie can address them however she pleases. Rollins may not. They feel somewhat responsible for what happened to Rollins last week, but the truth is they kind of enjoyed it. A video package recaps the events that transpired between John Cena and Rusev last week on RAW. Cena attacked Rusev until Lana agreed to give him a WWE United States Championship match at WrestleMania. They’ll have a contract signing, next.

-Commercial Break-

Sheamus’ return is imminent.

WWE United States Championship Contract Signing

Michael Cole is in the ring. There is an American flag and a Russian Federation flag displayed on separate turnbuckles. The table is also decorated with the flags. John Cena is introduced first, and he comes out to his traditional mixed reception. Cole says the contract is in front of him, and he asks Cena to sign it. Cena picks up the folder and looks at the contract as an obligatory “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks” chant breaks out. Cena says there’s a lot of enthusiasm for WrestleMania in this building. Cena shares that enthusiasm. He’s signed a lot of contracts, but this one is by far the most important. In just a minute, everyone will be introduced to a man they call a “super-athlete” and a Hero to the Russian Federation. This man has destroyed every challenge put in his way, including himself. His name is Rusev, and he is the Champion of the United States. Cena wants them to think about what that really means because he’s thought long and hard about it. It means Rusev represents the United States of America and represents everyone in the building. They boo. Cena says he feels the same way.

That’s what makes his contract and the match at WrestleMania important. He can do what he did last week and whoop Rusev all over the arena, but it does no good. As long as Rusev has the United States Championship, he’ll represent each and every one of them. Tonight he’ll sign the contract and publically say, “Enough is enough.” These are the facts. Rusev has the luxury to live in this country and has been provided with great opportunity. However, every single chance he gets, Rusev belittles the USA. Cena says he is disgusted and finds it disrespectful that Rusev represents a country we are proud of. The crowd chants, “USA.” Cena tells them to let that chant fill them with pride, excitement and love for the United States of America. Cena says he’s had the honor to stand on the front lines with the brave men and women that provide us with freedom of speech, assembly, and religion. In the same breath, he is ashamed to look them into the eye and say Rusev is the man to bring our championship into battle. Cena says the contract represents a Declaration of Independence, and WrestleMania is his Revolution. Cena believes the United States of America is the greatest country on earth because against all odd, we will stand up and fight. At WrestleMania, what the undefeated Rusev will find out is you can only push the United States so far before we come back and kick your ass. Cena signs the contract.

Michael Cole introduces Rusev next. Rusev comes out in a suit followed by a middle-aged man. Lana is not there. Cole says Cena has made it official and now it is his turn to sign the contract. The man takes the microphone as the fans chant, “We want Lana.” Cena says the crowd knows which one of them has the balls. The man says (in a terrible Russian accent) that he is Rusev’s attorney. Rusev will not be signing the contract or competing against John Cena at WrestleMania. Rusev did not agree to this or any other match for that matter. The attorney has some footage played. One replay is from two weeks ago of Stephanie McMahon telling Cena that he needs to change Rusev’s mind and make him accept. Then footage is shown of Lana saying they’ll grant Cena a match at WrestleMania. The man says there is no evidence of Rusev agreeing to this match. This proposed contract is null and void. The commentators are making fun of the man’s fake accent. If Mr. Cena can extend the courtesy of freedom of speech, his client will sign the contract. Cena must contain his American behavior and allow his client to read his prepared statement in full. Otherwise there will be no WrestleMania match.

Rusev says America lives and dies by second chances. Cena lost at WWE Fastlane, yet he tries to get another chance. That’s because Cena is weak. Weakness is one of many problems with America. America worships failures. This country’s veterans are failures. Cena nearly loses his cool. Their children will grow up to be failures. Cena angrily removes his shirt. The commentators keep talking about the lawyer’s accent over this. Rusev says America is a cancer to the world. Rusev says, “Oh say, can you see this stupid little land? How so proudly you hail this stupid little country.” Cena and Rusev angrily stare at each other. Rusev says this country will die. The crowd loudly chants, “USA.” Rusev takes the contract and signs it before flipping the table over on Cena and escaping the ring. The lawyer falls over while leaving the ring. Cena holds up the contract and says, “I’ve got this, and your ass is mine!” The flag of the Russian Federation unfurls above the ring.

Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and Dean Ambrose will face Bad News Barrett, Stardust, and Luke Harper later tonight. Randy Orton will face Seth Rollins in the main event of the evening.

-Commercial Break-

The New Day is in the ring. Footage is shown of them beating Tyson Kidd and Cesaro last week on RAW. A pre-taped promo is shown with Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. They talk about how the New Day can’t compare to them. They can even clap better than them. As far as the New Day becoming Tag Team Champions, there’s no way.

Big E and Kofi Kingston w/ Xavier Woods vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro w/ Natalya

Los Matadores make their way to the ring with El Torito to watch this match. Big E will start the match against Tyson Kidd. They circle the ring, and Kidd kicks away at him. Kidd hits the ropes, and Big E hits a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Kofi Kingston is tagged in, and Big E throws Kingston into Kidd for a two count. Kidd quickly powers him to the corner, and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro uppercuts him down, but Kingston fights him back. The commentators talk about Jey Uso being injured and it not looking good. Cesaro then sidesteps a missile dropkick attempt. Cesaro knocks Big E off the apron. Cesaro and Kidd go for the Cesaro Swing/Dropkick combo, but the referee throws him out. Kingston hits a pendulum kick followed by a cross-body block, but Kidd breaks up the pin with a dropkick. Big E avalanches Kidd, but he soon launches himself shoulder-first into the ring post. Cesaro ducks Trouble in Paradise, and Kidd eats it. Cesaro uppercuts Kingston in the back of the head and picks up the win.

Winners by Pinfall: Tyson Kidd and Cesaro
Match Rating: 1/2 *

Xavier Woods brawls with Los Matadores. They send him into the ring, and Cesaro hits him with the Neutralizer. El Torito dropkicks Cesaro down. Cesaro picks him up, and El Torito takes him out with a head-scissor takeover. Los Matadores and El Torito celebrate in the ring as Cesaro flips out at ringside.

Footage is shown of The Undertaker accepting Bray Wyatt’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania last week on RAW. Bray Wyatt will respond to The Undertaker later tonight on RAW.

Coming up next, we’ll hear Brock Lesnar in a sit-down interview.

-Commercial Break-

Seth Rollins is backstage with J&J Security talking about how he can’t be left high and dry like last week. Jamie Noble says Rollins told them to go away. Rollins says he didn’t know Noble was paid to secure him and argue with him. Noble says if Rollins would have just listened to him, they wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place. Rollins slaps him in the face. Noble says this future thing is getting into Rollins’ head. Noble then quits, and Joey Mercury follows. Rollins looks incredibly frustrated.

Brock Lesnar says he was put on this earth to seek, destroy, and hurt people. Is that sadistic? Maybe to some people. Lesnar says he enjoys it because it’s what he does. That’s why he’s here. What does WrestleMania mean to him? It’s a day that he gets to show up, kick someone’s ass, and get paid to do so. Footage is shown of Lesnar viciously beating Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX last year. Lesnar says The Undertaker never stood a chance against him. What does Lesnar think about the people that were disappointed that he beat The Undertaker? He doesn’t care. Disappointment and surprise… Lesnar laughs and says he loves every minute of it. Lesnar says there is one thing for sure about his WWE contract. If he stays, he’ll be WWE Champion. If he leaves, he’ll be WWE Champion. Roman Reigns doesn’t stand in the way of that. As a rookie, he came in and sent The Rock to Hollywood. Then they put him against The Undertaker, and he ended the streak. At SummerSlam, he suplexed Cena’s ass out of WrestleMania. This is his world. He doesn’t need to hunt. If you think Lesnar in hunt mode was crazy shit, then stay tuned for him in defense mode.

If there’s one message that he has for Roman Reigns, he can dream and wish to beat him because he’s going to kick Reigns’ ass at WrestleMania. It’ll be unlike any ass kicking he’s ever had. This isn’t a fairy tale. There’s no feel good moment. At WrestleMania, he is going to f*ck up Roman Reigns. The end.

Big Show makes his entrance to the ring. He’ll be in action, next.

-Commercial Break-

The André The Giant Memorial Trophy is seen at ringside.

Big Show gets on the apron and stares at the crowd before walking off. The ringside doctor is in the ring checking on Rowan. This match never got underway.

“The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko is the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame: Class of 2015.

We return from the break to see Kane in the ring with Goldust, Darren Young, Adam Rose, Titus O’Neil, Jack Swagger, Heath Slater, Fandango, Curtis Axel, and Zack Ryder. All of these men will be in the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Kane tells the fans to forget about AxelMania. There’s only one man who is going to win the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and that’s him. That’s why he invited them out for a demonstration of what will happen.

Mark Henry’s music hits, and he comes out to the ring. Henry says WrestleMania will have it’s own March Madness in the form of the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, so he’ll throw his name into the hat because that’s what he does. A brawl breaks out in the ring. Kane and Henry eliminate everyone (including a spot where Henry press slammed Ryder over the top rope onto a group of wrestlers). Kane and Henry are the last two standing. They brawl, but Henry eventually picks him up and drops him on the apron. Axel runs in, as he was never eliminated. Kane falls off the apron, but he’s unable to get Henry out of the ring. Henry then tosses Ryder out of the ring. Henry stares at the trophy as his music plays.

Randy Orton will face Seth Rollins in the main event.

-Commercial Break-

Tyson Kidd, Cesaro, and Natalya will face Los Matadores and El Torito in a 6-person interspecies match this Thursday on Smackdown.

Paul Heyman talks about Roman Reigns’ chances at WrestleMania

Paul Heyman is in the ring. Heyman says, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, Brock Lesnar, the single most credible, the single most authentic, the single most legitimate champion in WWE or mixed martial arts then, now, and forever.” It is in the spirit of Lesnar’s credibility, authenticity, and legitimacy that he is out here because in just 13 days at WrestleMania, his client views the whole concept of rules, regulations, and parameters on title matches as something that was written by a pacifist. His client is not a pacifist. His client is a conqueror and a beast. Brock Lesnar is not coming to WrestleMania to make war. He’s coming to WrestleMania to make war on Roman Reigns! Heyman says this is something that no one has taken the time to think about. What if Lesnar decides to violate the rules imposed on him. Are they going to turn off the lights, cut the feed to the PPV, or interrupt the match? Will they give the people their money back? It’s an impossibility because you’re stuck with Brock Lesnar as your WWE Champion. There’s not a damn thing… Heyman’s microphone cuts off once again.

Heyman looks incredibly angry. Heyman says doing that to him is one thing. What are you going to do when Brock Lesnar does what he’s not supposed to do? No one can stop Brock Lesnar, not even Roman Reigns. That to him is a shame. If there is one person who could have lived up to the hype, it was Roman Reigns. Reigns was an NXT standout and went past 29 other superstars. What will happen to Reigns when reality bitch slaps him in the face and Lesnar gives him a prison beating at WrestleMania? To his client, Reigns is not the next great Samoan Ameri-CAN. He’s the next great Samoan Ameri-CAN’T. Roman Reigns can’t beat Brock Lesnar. Heyman says Reigns can’t beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns’ father should have told him this a long time ago.

Roman Reigns’ music hits, and he comes out wearing a shirt that says, “I can. I will.” The crowd is booing him. Reigns says he has a lot of respect for Heyman. Heyman is possibly the best talker ever in the business. A lot of people think Heyman is talking trash about his family, but he doesn’t think so. Reigns thinks Heyman is giving everyone fair warning about where he’s from. His issue isn’t with Heyman. His issue is with his client. Reigns says he’s going to talk to Lesnar now. Reigns faces the camera, and the crowd boos. If Lesnar were here right now, he’d tell him face-to-face, but he’s not. They see eye-to-eye because he doesn’t think there will be a happy ending. Reigns is expecting a fight and hoping for a war. Reigns will probably be carried out, but he has a lot of family to carry him out. On his shoulder will the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns is going to beat Lesnar’s ass at WrestleMania not because he wants to or needs to. It’s because he can, he will, and he believes that. Reigns’ music hits, and Heyman leaves the ring.

Randy Orton will face Seth Rollins in the main event. Footage is shown of Big Show and Kane telling Rollins they won’t be at ringside for him. J&J Security also quit.

Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and Dean Ambrose will face Bad News Barrett, Stardust, and Luke Harper in a rematch from Smackdown, next.

Reigns won’t have to wait until WrestleMania to get in Lesnar’s face. Heyman will give him the opportunity to get in Lesnar’s face next week on RAW. Lesnar will have a chance to say or do anything he deems appropriate to Reigns’ face. Reigns can think about it, but he can’t do anything about it.

Rollins asks if he’s done playing hide and seek with Sting. Triple H gets in his face, and Rollins asks if he’s going to screw up the future of the company. Bray Wyatt will address The Undertaker, next.

-Commercial Break-

Replays are shown of Rusev signing the contract before flipping the table over on John Cena.

Footage is shown of The Undertaker accepting Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania challenge last week. Bray Wyatt is seen backstage with a red urn. Wyatt says, “Her memory is such a treasure. I remember the first time I ever saw Abigail sitting in that chair. She looked so beautiful. Not just in her appearance, but in the things she said to me and the way she spoke. She told me about all the lies that this rotten world had been feeding me my entire life. She told me about people like you, Undertaker. Now last week, you tried to use that memory against me. You tried to use this symbol to burn fear into my heart. The only thing you succeeded in doing was turning a chair into dust.” Wyatt empties out the charred remains of the chair from the urn.

“Here’s the big question, Deadman. Everyone is asking what is left of you. Is it agony? Is it fear? Last year, we saw a broken streak and a broken, empty soul. Now you’re afraid to show your face because you know in that moment the eyes of the entire world were opened, and they suddenly all felt shame at their nakedness. It’s such a tragedy, really, what happened to you. Your destiny taken. It almost brought me to tears. This is all your fault, and now you’re out of time. Your fate is sealed. WrestleMania will be your requiem, your final resting place. It’ll also be my coronation, and I’m going to make Abigail oh so proud of me. She’ll watch me destroy the mighty Undertaker and take my rightful place among the gods for The Undertaker is the watcher of the light and darkness, but after WrestleMania, no one is safe. Behold the new face of fear.” Wyatt laughs before the feed cuts out.

Randy Orton will face Seth Rollins, next.

-Commercial Break-

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will meet in the ring face-to-face on RAW. Snoop Dogg and Bill Simmons from ESPN will be the special guest stars on that RAW.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. There will be an exclusive interview with the winner of this match following RAW on the WWE Network.

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins makes his way to the stage by himself with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins looks very uneasy. Rollins says it took Orton three weeks of scheming, conniving, and cajoling to make every single member of The Authority look like fools. Rollins begins laughing, but it’s only taken him three hours to make a fool out of Orton. Rollins poses on the stage, and The Authority’s music hits. Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Big Show, Kane, and J&J Security make their way out to the stage. Rollins and Triple H hug on stage. Orton goes outside the ring and grabs a steel chair.

The Authority circles the ring. The crowd begins chanting, “We want Sting.” The Authority slowly gets on the apron while Triple H and Stephanie watch from the foot of the ramp. They get in the ring, and the lights go out as the sound of a crow sounds in the arena. When the lights come back on, Sting is standing by Orton’s side with his baseball bat! Orton stares at Sting before hitting Big Show in the midsection with the chair. Sting hits Kane with the baseball bat, and they clear the ring of The Authority! Sting takes off his trench coat and throws it at Triple H. Sting hits J&J Security with a Stinger Splash followed by giving Noble a Scorpion Death Drop! Sting shouts, “Woo!” before picking up his baseball bat. Orton then drops Joey Mercury with an RKO. Sting points his bat at Triple H as the crowd chants his name. String and Orton stand tall in the ring as replays are shown of what just happened.

Michael Cole announces that there will be an exclusive interview with Randy Orton and Sting exclusively on the WWE Network. Triple H shouts at Sting as Sting taunts him.
