“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

Lilian Garcia asks the crowd to welcome Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to the ring. The Authority makes their way to the ring as the crowd gives them a very mixed reception. We’re six days away from SummerSlam. Stephanie welcomes the crowd to Monday Night RAW. She says the crowd is happy to see them. Stephanie says tonight feels like Christmas morning as a kid when you’re waiting to open your gifts. She talks about how the tension is high in the locker room as we’re six days away from the biggest SummerSlam in history. The Barclays Center has been sold out for weeks, but no one has to miss a minute of the event. They can watch it on the WWE Network for $9.99.

Triple H says for the first time in history, SummerSlam is so big and epic that they’re making it four hours long. Careers will be defined, scores will be settled, and history will be made. It starts with a rematch sixteen months in the making. It’s the rematch too big for WrestleMania. It is The Undertaker taking on the man that ended the undefeated streak, Minnesota’s own Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will be right here under the same roof tonight. John Cena has been able to pull his mangled face back together to answer the challenge of Seth Rollins. At SummerSlam, the WWE United States Champion will go one-on-one with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in a match that is Champion vs. Champion with a Winner Take All stipulation. Stephanie says they will have a contract signing for that match. Triple H says this next match started out personal and deteriorated from there. We’ll see Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose take on Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. All those men are here tonight and will be a factor when Luke Harper steps in the ring and faces Roman Reigns. Stephanie says we’ll find out which team is the dominant team in the Divas division. We’ll see an Elimination Match with Team Bella taking on PCB and Team B.A.D. WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella will face the NXT Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks.

Triple H says it doesn’t get any bigger than that, but Stephanie says it does. As it was announced earlier today, there will be an incredible host for SummerSlam. After sixteen years of hosting one of the most successful shows on television, everyone is talking about what this man will do next. Look no further as the former host of “The Daily Show” will be hosting SummerSlam. Jon Stewart will host the event. Triple H says the road to SummerSlam starts right here and now.

Ryback vs. The Miz

Before the match begins, The Miz wonders how Big Show can call himself an actor. The only thing Big Show is good for on a movie set is blocking light and shutting down catering. -Commercial Break-

“Title For Title” Contract Signing

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in the ring. The ring is decorated with a black carpet and a long silver table. Stephanie says it’s time to make one of the biggest matches at SummerSlam official. It’s title for title, winner take all. Triple H asks the crowd to help him welcome the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. Rollins makes his way to the ring to boos from the crowd. Rollins thanks the crowd for the warm introduction. Before we get started, Rollins thinks there are congratulations in order. Rollins congratulates Triple H and Stephanie on putting together the greatest SummerSlam of all time. Rollins congratulates himself on the statue that will be built in his honor when he beats John Cena at SummerSlam. Most importantly, he wants to congratulate everyone in the crowd. Rollins tells them to give themselves a round of applause. It’s not often that someone knows – not thinks – they will witness history. It is a very special time to be a member of the WWE Universe. You don’t go to a baseball game knowing you’re going to see a no hitter… unless your team is playing the Twins. Everyone knows they will be witness to a special moment in time when he dethrones John Cena to become the first man to ever hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship at the same time.

Rollins goes over to the contract to sign it, but he stops himself. A “Let’s go Cena/Cena sucks,” chant breaks out. Rollins says when the crowd chants that something comes to mind. Bob Dylan is from Minnesota (no real name recognition from the young crowd). Dylan said the times are changing. For the past decade, John Cena has sat atop the mountain of WWE. Every person that comes along and tries to knock him off the mountain, Cena made sure that person never stood a chance. Cena gets off on playing the role of Superman, but he isn’t. Cena is the villain. Cena is holding the entire WWE Universe hostage for the last decade. A “YES” chant breaks out. Rollins says John Cena is a disease. With one knee to the bridge of his nose, he shattered his face into a million pieces. Rollins sent Cena tumbling down the mountain and began the process that will free everyone in the crowd. Rollins injected a serum into Cena that will inoculate the WWE Universe. Cena is the disease, and Rollins claims to be the cure. Cena disrespects him every chance he gets. Cena has called him and his title reign a joke. At SummerSlam, he’ll have the last laugh when he takes the United States Championship and crushes his legacy like he crushed his face. Cena thinks he’s the man, but he’s not even man enough to answer his challenge face-to-face. Cena went to Tough Enough and answered it there. He didn’t even answer it by himself. He had to ask that cripple Daniel Bryan.

John Cena’s music hits, and the WWE United States Champion makes his way to the ring to boos from the crowd. Cena’s nose looks like nothing ever happened to it. Cena says he’s not in the mood to have a seat. Cena paces the crowd as the crowd jeers him. Cena says Rollins is trying to defend his title reign while half the arena is chanting, “Let’s go Cena” and the other half is chanting that he sucks. No one is saying anything about Rollins. Rollins doesn’t even believe his own crap. The champ is there, but the sorry excuse for a man walking around with it is reduced to nothing more than a cheap imitation of John Cena. Cena sarcastically says Rollins is the first to ever make fun of his catchphrases. Cena says Rollins is not a John Cena rip-off. Rollins was handpicked to be the future of WWE. Triple H does not make a decision that big unless he thinks that person shares the same attributes he does. Triple H has provided Rollin with every tool to succeed including the Pedigree. Rollins is the way to ensure Triple H’s legacy lives forever. There’s one problem and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon because the real champ is here. Cena says Rollins busted his nose a few weeks ago and had to sit at home last week. Cena had to think about how to payback Rollins and his knee. Maybe he breaks it or an arm? Maybe he’ll break Rollins’ nose? Those are just injuries. Cena says he may not be Superman, but people come back from injuries. Then it hit him as clean as Rollins’ knee hitting his nose. What he’ll do to Rollins on Sunday will haunt Rollins and Triple H for the rest of their lives. He is a fifteen-time World Heavyweight Champion. Cena figured there would be no chance of him getting his hands on the title again until Captain Morgan opened his mouth. Cena will show up on Sunday and win to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the sixteenth time. This Sunday, when Rollins loses, he’ll lose. The all-time championship record is held by Triple H’s mentor, Ric Flair. Rollins isn’t the future – he’s a footnote. Rollins is a trivia answer. Cena says Sunday isn’t just a match. This Sunday, Rollins will fight to protect everything. Triple H is trying to bestow Ric Flair’s legacy on Rollins. The one difference is Triple H was never Ric Flair’s bitch. This Sunday, he’s going to make Rollins his. Cena signs the contract and leaves the ring. Rollins seethes in anger as Cena walks off.

Sasha Banks will face Nikki Bella later tonight. Brock Lesnar will be on ESPN SportsCenter tomorrow at 9 AM EST. Brock Lesnar’s homecoming takes place later on.

-Commercial Break-

The New Day makes their way to the ring. Big E tells the crowd to dry their eyes and not be bummers because in six days, it’s the biggest party of the summer. Kofi Kingston says the three teams will learn the hard way what happens when you fool with The New Day. Xavier Woods says they’ll knock the socks off the teams because New Day… has the odds stacked against them. The crowd chants, “New Day sucks.” The New Day starts a “New Day rocks” chant.

The Prime Time Players and The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day and Los Matadores

Kingston starts the match against Sin Cara. Kingston stomps Cara before tagging in Big E. Big E stomps him and tags in Fernando. Fernando hits a snapmare before dropping a knee for a two count. Fernando knocks Kalisto off the apron before being slammed by Cara. Titus O’Neil is tagged in, and he knocks the heels off the apron before giving Fernando a rib-breaker before throwing him. O’Neil catches Diego and throws him for good measure. O’Neil avalanches Fernando before being distracted by Xavier Woods. Fernando hits a backstabber before El Torito fights Woods and hits him with a sit-out senton from the apron. The New Day holds Woods back as Kalisto is tagged in. Kalisto hits a springboard hurricanrana for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: The Prime Time Players and The Lucha Dragons
Match Rating: 1/2 *

Renee Young interviews PCB about what they just saw. Paige says they saw two losing teams bumping heads. Charlotte says they’ll stick together with a little bit of flair.

Footage is shown of Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s streak. Brock Lesnar’s homecoming is next.

-Commercial Break-

Brock Lesnar’s homecoming celebration

Paul Heyman is in the ring as we come back from the break. Heyman starts by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am your host for tonight’s homecoming for I am the advocate for the only being in history to hold the undisputed WWE Heavyweight Championship of the World, which he won from the biggest box office attraction in movies today, the undisputed UFC Heavyweight Championship of the World, which he won from the most celebrated heavyweight in ultimate fighting history, and the NCAA Division I Heavyweight Championship, which he won from the University of Minnesota! Ladies and gentlemen, The Beast, The Conqueror, Brock Lesnar!”

Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and he comes out to a massive pop from his hometown crowd. Streamers and confetti come down from the rafters as the crowd proclaims their love for the hometown hero. Lesnar looks completely amped up. The crowd is absolutely buzzing and a loud “Suplex City” chant breaks out. Lesnar and Heyman just look at the crowd as they thunderously clap for them. Heyman gets on his knees and bows down to Lesnar. Heyman does singsong to “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” as he says, “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the conqueror, my lord/He conquered Undertaker’s streak, I know that strikes a chord/Now Taker will retire and not on his own accord/The Conqueror marches on!” Heyman starts singing, “Glory, glory Brock Lesnar,” and the crowd sings along as well!

The bell tolls, and the lights go out. When the lights come back on, Heyman is on the apron scared. Undertaker is nowhere to be seen. Lesnar and Heyman laugh. A “Suplex City” chant breaks out. Heyman asks if that’s the best Undertaker’s got. Heyman says this Sunday at SummerSlam, he can get God and the Devil to team with him, but he swears on everything holy and evil that Lesnar will take all three of them to Suplex City. Ever since the referee’s hand hit the mat for the third time at WrestleMania XXX, The Undertaker has dreamt and obsessed over the moment he could take revenge on Lesnar. At Battleground, when The Undertaker finally made his move and looked his client in the eyes, he went for the low blow. The crowd boos that. Heyman has an answer to why The Phenom would go for a low blow. The Undertaker knew he’d never go from conquered to conqueror. The Undertaker has never once beaten Brock Lesnar. After this Sunday night at SummerSlam, he can say the statement that Undertaker never will beat Brock Lesnar. Undertaker has the knowledge that he fears Lesnar. Heyman doesn’t want any of them to think Lesnar is taking Undertaker lightly. Undertaker is in great shape. If you put any man in the ring with him, The Undertaker would give them a Tombstone. This Sunday at SummerSlam, Undertaker isn’t fighting a man. He’s fighting a beast. It’s not just any beast – Undertaker is fighting THE Beast. This Beast put the one in what is now 22-1. His client offers no respect to The Undertaker’s accomplishments. This Sunday at SummerSlam, Lesnar offers no recognition of his 25 years of accomplishments. This Sunday, Lesnar offers him the realization…

The Undertaker’s bell tolls, and the lights go out. When they come back on, Undertaker is in the ring behind Lesnar. Undertaker gives Lesnar a low blow before delivering a Chokeslam as the crowd loudly boos him. Lesnar rolls around the mat in pain before Undertaker signals for the end. Undertaker then gives Lesnar a Tombstone Piledriver. The crowd loudly boos him as Heyman looks on in fear. The Undertaker’s music hits, and he poses in the ring as the crowd boos him.
