“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video recaps the events from the past Monday’s RAW, which was the RAW after WrestleMania 31. Brock Lesnar wanted to invoke his rematch clause against Seth Rollins to get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but Rollins wound up denying him after Lesnar was initially told the match was made. Lesnar assaulted Rollins, but he ultimately escaped through the crowd. Lesnar then demolished J&J Security before turning his aggression on the RAW commentary team. Lesnar tipped the commentary table over on Booker T and JBL before catching Michael Cole and throwing him into the ring. Lesnar gave Cole an F-5 before turning his attention to a cameraman. Lesnar hoisted the cameraman up on his shoulders, which brought out Stephanie McMahon. She said he would get his rematch, but he needed to put the man down. Lesnar gave him an F-5 anyway. Stephanie then suspended him from WWE indefinitely.

The Smackdown video plays, and we’re brought into the arena to see a giant pyrotechnics display. Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show.

Seth Rollins talks about his decision to deny Brock Lesnar a title match on RAW

Seth Rollins’ music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring with Big Show, Kane, and J&J Security by his side. Big Show’s André The Giant Memorial Trophy is at ringside. The commentators talk about the status of the RAW commentary team, and they announce they will be back on Monday. Big Show stands next to the trophy and poses like André. Rollins says it feels so good when a plan works out perfectly. The crowd loudly boos him as J&J clap enthusiastically. This past Sunday at WrestleMania, he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, inserted himself into the main event, beat Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, and became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Just like that, he solidified himself as the new face of WWE. Being WWE Champion isn’t all about being the very best in the ring, which he’s proven time and time again that he is. Right after he shocked the world and took the title at WrestleMania, he hopped on a private jet, and flew all the way across the country for an appearance on “The Today Show.” After that, he hopped back on that private jet, flew all the say back across the country, just in time to walk into RAW to find out that Brock Lesnar was demanding his championship rematch. Rollins says the fans can’t relate to being him, but flying back and forth across the country twice in the span of a day can make someone very jetlagged. He’s new to being the champ, but the WWE Universe deserves him at his very best. Even though Brock Lesnar deserved a rematch for this championship, Monday night just wasn’t his night. The crowd boos that.

Rollins says for every action there is a reaction. If Brock Lesnar hadn’t lost his mind and F-5ed innocent announcers and cameramen, maybe they could have had that rematch right here tonight on Smackdown. Rollins says, “Could have” because Lesnar proved what everyone knew that he is an animal, a monster, and out of his mind. Lesnar went and got himself indefinitely suspended. Rollins says Lesnar got what he deserved.

Randy Orton’s music hits, and he makes his way to the stage to a great reception from the crowd. Orton says Rollins quickly forgets, but he remembers everything. The crowd chants, “Randy,” and Orton soaks it in. Orton says he remembers how months ago Rollins Curb Stomped him through the desk and steel steps. He remembers for weeks playing all of them like a fiddle until he got his sweet revenge. Orton also remembers almost ripping Rollins’ head off with an RKO at WrestleMania right before he cashed in that precious contract. Most importantly, Orton also remembers that for the last year he’s been owed a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania. As far as he can see it, with Brock Lesnar suspended indefinitely it puts him at the top of the list to face Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The crowd cheers as Rollins thinks about it. An “RKO” chant breaks out. Rollins asks why Orton wants to dwell in the past when the present and future of WWE is standing in the ring. Rollins doesn’t know who the hell Orton thinks he is, but in his WWE, he and he alone decides when and where the next title shot happens. Orton asks Rollins who he’s trying to kid. Rollins has never done anything by himself. Orton gets why J&J Security leech onto whoever is in power. It’s because they’re spineless sewer rats. Orton doesn’t get what the deal is with Big Show and Kane. They used to be monsters, but now they’re just The Authority’s lapdogs. At least Big Show did win at WrestleMania. Big Show won the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. What did Kane do at WrestleMania? Orton says he didn’t see Kane there. Orton asks, “What does the Director of Operations really do?” Orton says, “As far as I can tell, you went from the Big Red Monster to Little Red Riding Hood.” The crowd cheers that and a small “Red Riding Hood” chant breaks out. Kane grabs the microphone and says he has plenty of power as the Director of Operations. That’s why Orton will face the winner of the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, The Big Show, and if Orton can defeat him, maybe The Authority will reconsider his title opportunity. Kane says, “By the way, that match starts right now!”

The Big Show talks strategy in the ring with Rollins, Kane, and J&J Security as Orton looks on from the ramp. Orton will face Big Show, next.

Still photos are shown of some of the great moments from WrestleMania 31.

Big Show punches him in the midsection before hitting a running butt bump. Big Show hits the ropes, but Orton dropkicks him down. Orton gets to his feet and waits for more, but Big Show rolls to the apron to recover. Orton kicks him in the head and connects with a hanging DDT off the top rope. The crowd is going wild for Orton as he drops to the mat for an RKO. Joey Mercury quickly attacks him from behind, and the referee throws the match out.

Match Rating: 1/4 *

Jamie Noble and Kane join Mercury for the triple-team. Big Show slides out of the ring to lick his wounds. After the beat Orton down, Rollins boldly gets in the ring and removes his shirt. Orton quickly takes Rollins down with a Lou Thesz Press and tees off on him, but J&J Security quickly stops him. Kane then gives Orton a Chokeslam. Ryback’s music hits, and he charges down to the ring to help Orton. Ryback quickly pushes J&J away before giving Kane a Meat Hook Clothesline. Ryback gives Noble a spinebuster before slamming Mercury down on his face. Orton then drops Mercury with an RKO. Ryback gives Noble the Shell Shocked, and Orton finishes off Kane with an RKO. The crowd is going wild for Orton and Ryback as Rollins watches from the ramp seething with anger. Rollins holds up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and talks some trash.

Replays are shown of Daniel Bryan defeating Dolph Ziggler on Monday Night RAW to retain his newly won WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bad News Barrett attacked both men after the match before being run off by the returning Sheamus, complete with a new look. Sheamus then delivered a pair of Brogue Kicks to Bryan and Ziggler. Due to injuries sustained on RAW, Ziggler is unable to compete tonight, thus canceling the originally planned tag match. In its place for tonight’s main event will be Daniel Bryan taking on Sheamus in a singles match.

Still photos showcase what happened when The Rock and Ronda Rousey went face-to-face with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31.

The Bella Twins will be on commentary for the next match.

Natalya vs. Naomi

A pre-taped promo from earlier in the day is shown of Naomi. Naomi says some people think her pinning Nikki Bella on RAW was a fluke. It meant everything to her. She pinned the Divas Champion, which means she can beat the Divas Champion, and that means she can be the Divas Champion. Until that happens, she has no problem proving herself every single night, starting with Natalya because funk is on a roll.

The bell rings, and they lock up. Natalya wrenches the arm, but Naomi twists it right back. Natalya drops down and rolls through the pressure before wrenching the arm. Naomi kicks out of it and hits the ropes, but Natalya leapfrogs her. Naomi leapfrogs Natalya, and they both go for a dropkick. Both ladies kip up, and the crowd gives them a nice hand. They lock up, and Natalya powers her to the corner. Naomi tries to kick her, but Natalya counters into a slingshot atomic bomb. Natalya steps on her head and dropkicks her in the face for a two count. Natalya punches away at her before standing her up and clubbing the back. Natalya then applies an abdominal stretch before grabbing the leg. Naomi begins to fight out of it, and she goes for an abdominal stretch, but Natalya counters with a snapmare. Natalya sends her to the corner, but Naomi catches her with a head-scissor. Natalya quickly dumps her on the apron, and Naomi kicks her in the head. Naomi goes for a sunset flip, but Natalya rolls through. Natalya goes for a Sharpshooter, but Naomi counters into an inside cradle for a two count. Naomi quickly connects with a head-scissor DDT for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Naomi
Match Rating: * 1/2

The Bella Twins do not look pleased with the result of this match. Nikki Bella holds up her Divas Championship as Naomi points at it.

John Cena will talk about his WrestleMania 31 victory to end Rusev’s undefeated streak and win the WWE United States Championship. We’ll also hear an exclusive interview with Roman Reigns where he’ll talk about his WrestleMania performance and getting his hands on Seth Rollins.

-Commercial Break-

More still photos are shown of the highlights of WrestleMania 31.

Kane is in The Authority’s office throwing his jacket. Seth Rollins comes up to him and apologizes for him taking an RKO. Rollins tells him to look on the bright side. Rollins loved that Kane let Randy Orton think he actually has a shot at the championship. The look on his face was priceless. Kane says he is considering it, and Rollins is flabbergasted. Kane says he is the Director of Operations, and he has the authority to make executive decisions. Extreme Rules is less than four weeks away and quite frankly, a WWE World Heavyweight Title match between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins sounds really good to him. Kane asks if Rollins is concerned that he’ll lose to Orton. Rollins says that’s absurd. Rollins says Kane is smarter than Orton, and Kane comes back by saying Rollins is better than Orton.

Rollins says this stinks. Kane goes to talk, but Rollins says the office literally stinks. Rollins walks off, and we hear a toilet flush. Kane angrily turns around the see Dean Ambrose holding a newspaper. Ambrose says Kane has a great office. There’s a lot of brand new towels, soft six-ply toilet paper, and scented soaps. It’s a dream for him. Kane says because Ambrose so rudely used his executive bathroom, later tonight he’ll face the man who gave him a WrestleMania moment by throwing him through a ladder: Luke Harper. Ambrose happily thanks him and walks off. Kane throws his water bottle down in frustration.

Byron Saxton interviews Roman Reigns about what happened at WrestleMania 31

A pre-taped interview is shown of Roman Reigns. Byron Saxton congratulates him on a great match against Brock Lesnar. Saxton asks what it was like to finally step into the ring with the beast. Reigns says it was a huge honor to just be a part of the main event of WrestleMania. The magnitude of the moment saw him come out swinging. He took anything and everything. Lesnar threw him all across the ring and dropped him on his neck a few times. Reigns says he showed people that he’s willing to take a beating, but he picked himself up every single time. Saxton asks about his strategy. Reigns says you have to ride the wave when you’re in the ring with Lesnar. Reigns says he visited Suplex City and every borough in it. Lesnar wasn’t ready for when he hit him in the mouth. Lesnar didn’t have a counter for his counter. Reigns rode the wave and survived it. He’s one of the only guys in the world to say he survived Suplex City. Lesnar wasn’t ready for him because when he hit him in the mouth, he didn’t have an answer. He hit Lesnar a few times and finally took him down. Reigns changed Lesnar’s appearance permanently with his fist.

Saxton asks what kind of message Reigns was trying to send by smiling and laughing at Lesnar’s offense. Reigns says that fight changed his life. It changed Lesnar’s life. Lesnar was smacking the piss out of him, trying to knock him down and keep him out for good. When you get to that point, you’re doing a lot more than sending a message. Reigns smiled in Lesnar’s face. Lesnar could not knock him out. Saxton asks about the moment where he thought he had Lesnar beat, but Seth Rollins came out, Curb Stomped him, and took away his dream. Reigns says it was terrible. He was right there. Reigns climbed the mountain, felt the top, and was looking down before being pulled right off in a matter of moments. That was Rollins. That was his job, and that’s what he did. Rollins had the Money in the Bank contract that he could cash in at any time. Rollins let the animals attack each other, and he picked the bones. Reigns did something too. Reigns told the world that he could and would beat Lesnar. Reigns was thirty seconds away from doing so. When it comes to Seth Rollins, he’s beaten him before. Reigns says, “I can, I have, and I will beat him again.”

The Miz makes his way to the ring without Damien Mizdow. Miz will be in action, next.

The Miz applauds the replay and taunts the crowd. The crowd is loudly booing him. Miz then goes through the ritual of removing his sunglasses. They lock up as a “We want Mizdow” chant breaks out. John Cena will address his big victory over Rusev at WrestleMania, next.

-Commercial Break-

Still photos are shown of the highlights of John Cena vs. Rusev from WrestleMania 31. Cena defeated Rusev to end his undefeated streak and win the WWE United States Championship.

John Cena addresses his WrestleMania 31 victory over Rusev

John Cena’s music hits, and the WWE United States Champion makes his way to the ring to a massive reception from the crowd. Unlike on Monday night, this crowd is almost 100% pro-Cena. Cena is holding a piece of paper in his hand. Cena mentions that Fresno is fired up tonight, and he is as well. Cena is holding up the contract for his match with Rusev at WrestleMania 31. Cena told the world that his was their Declaration of Independence. WrestleMania was their revolution. Finally, the United States Championship will get the respect that it deserves. Cena is taking nothing away from Rusev as an athlete. Rusev took him to the limit at WrestleMania and spent a year here undefeated. Rusev as the United States Champion made him sick. It’s not because he’s from Russia or can’t fight. Every time he opened his mouth, he proved that he’s the world’s biggest douchebag (this was bleeped out). The sad thing is Rusev is the American dream. Rusev, like so many others, came to America, was given opportunity and success. Was he thankful? Hell no. All Rusev wanted to do was tell everyone how much America sucks. The crowd boos that. Cena says he has a news flash: America doesn’t suck. A “USA” chant breaks out.

Cena says he is proud of the United States of America, and he’s proud of the United States Championship. America is the land opportunity. This championship isn’t just a beacon of excellence. This championship will represent opportunity from now on. Cena mentions that the Statue of Liberty reads, “Bring me your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses yearning for freedom.” Cena says he stands here with this championship saying, “Bring me your outcasts, bring me your underdogs, bring me your future stars, bring me your have-not’s, bring me anybody The Authority says is a B+ player, bring me anybody you want to see but they won’t let you. Hell, it could be anybody from Brock Lesnar to The Bushwhackers, and I will not run. I will fight them all!” The crowd loudly cheers him. Cena says he’ll give them opportunity to become the United States Champion. Cena says he issued the first ever John Cena US Open Challenge to any superstar in the back to step into the ring with him to earn the United States Championship. Right now, he is announcing that he will continue that challenge each and every week…

Rusev’s music hits, and he makes his way to the stage with Lana by his side. Rusev viciously waves around the flag of the Russian Federation. Lana says what happened at WrestleMania was not an opportunity. It was a travesty. A “USA” chant breaks out, and Lana angrily looks at the crowd. Lana tells the crowd to shut up. John Cena is not worthy to be a champion. Cena is half the man that Rusev is. Cena’s revolution is but a mere fantasy. This is Rusev’s world and everyone should be grateful that the live in the era of… Rusev takes the microphone from her. Rusev says he did not lose at WrestleMania. He is still America’s champion. He is the super athlete. He is a Russian tank! Rusev says Cena is not a hero. Cena is a coward, just like everyone in the crowd. Rusev talks in his native tongue before saying this is Rusev’s domain. This is Rusev country. This is Rusev world. In his world, little people like Cena have opportunities. Cena has the opportunity to surrender what’s his or be crushed at Extreme Rules.

Cena tells the good people of Fresno to calm down. Cena asks the crowd to forgive Rusev because not only is he dumb and a little blind… he’s also a little drunk. Cena says Rusev did lose at WrestleMania. As a matter of fact, he got his butt whipped. Cena says he’s standing in the ring and the only thing between them is fear and common sense. If Rusev wants to get it on with him in Fresno, then “The Champ is here!” Rusev walks down to ringside and says all Cena will see at Extreme Rules is this: Rusev starts waving around the Russian Federation flag. Rusev says he’ll also see this, and he points to the rafters. Nothing happens. Rusev tries again, but nothing happens. Cena asks if he meant this, and he points to the rafters. A giant American flag unfurls above the ring, and Rusev is livid! Cena says he pledges to allegiance to whoop Rusev’s ass at Extreme Rules. The crowd is really fired up for him.

Replays are shown of Sheamus making his return on Monday Night RAW with a new look. Sheamus took Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler out with Brogue Kicks before announcing he is back to boos from the crowd. Ziggler is unable to compete, so it will be Daniel Bryan taking on Sheamus in a singles match. Dean Ambrose will face Luke Harper, next.

WrestleMania 32 is coming to AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas on April 3, 2016.

Sheamus explains why he attacked Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler on RAW

Sheamus makes his way to the ring to new music. Replays are shown of Sheamus giving Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler Brogue Kicks on RAW. The fans chant, “You look stupid” at him. Sheamus tells them to let it out. Sheamus says if people are wondering why he attacked Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan on RAW last Monday, the answer is simple: because he can. He sat at home watching RAW and Smackdown wondering where all the real men have gone. The Bryans and Zigglers are real go-getters, but they make Kevin Hart look like Shaquille O’Neil. They’re vertically challenged runts, and yet the crowd is disappointed when they fail. They can’t even hang in the main event. Sheamus says, “Shame on you. Me? I’m not here to disappoint you. I’m not here to put a smile on your face. I’m simply here to crush your hopes and dreams because a real man has come back to the WWE, and I promise you all I won’t rest until I put every one of your little underdogs out of their misery… fella.”

Daniel Bryan’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to a massive reception from the crowd. The WWE Intercontinental Champion will face Sheamus in a non-title match, next.

A commercial promotes all of the TV-MA shows that are coming to the WWE Network. We’ll also get another version of Diva Search as well as many other shows.

Bryan must have hit his head on one of the monitors on the floor, and he immediately begins gushing blood from his forehead. Bryan gets to his feet, and Barrett takes him out with a Bull Hammer while the referee is dealing with Sheamus. A doctor quickly rushes over to Bryan and tries to stop the bleeding. Sheamus goes outside to retrieve Bryan, but he drops him and gets in the ring to accept the count-out victory.

Winner by Count-Out: Sheamus
Match Rating: ***

Sheamus celebrates as the crowd boos him. The doctor is trying to work on that wound, but it continues to gush blood. Replays are shown of the final moments of the match. Sheamus smiles at the top of the ramp as the show comes to an end.
