Karl Anderson says he will not be defending the NJPW NEVER Openweight Championship at NJPW Battle Autumn on Saturday, November 5.
NJPW had previously announced Anderson would be defending the title against Hikuleo on Battle Autumn. During this past Monday’s WWE Raw it was revealed that the Good Brothers will team with AJ Styles to take on Judgment Day at Crown Jewel, which is the same date as the NJPW event.
In a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Anderson said NJPW did not run the November 5 date by his booking agent – the Big LG Doc Gallows first. The Good Brothers said that they will be appearing at the NJPW show on Saturday, November 5.
According to PWInsider, Shinsuke Nakamura, who successfully defeated Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on Tuesday night’s NXT, will be making more appearances on future episodes.
