POST Wrestling has reported that AEW is petitioning a court to compel Ryan Nemeth to arbitrate under the turns of his previous contract.
The company claims that Nemeth has misrepresented and misled them through his conduct, over a year after the former talent dismissed his lawsuit against the AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk alleging assault, professional retaliation, and being blacklisted from the industry.
AEW dismissed its own petition in Florida, where it was seeking to compel Nemeth to private arbitration per the langauge of his contract with the company.
They are now seeking to arbitrate the dispute at a JAMS administrative office nearest to Duval County, Florida.
The company states that after an agreement was reached to move to arbitration, Nemeth filed a demand with a JAMS office in California, adding “an assortment of unsupported claims under the California Labor Code.”
In moving the arbitration to Florida, the company seeks a process that falls under Florida state law.
JAMS reportedly declined an attempt to move the claim in December 2025.
