Former NJPW champion reportedly signs new contract

Yusuke Okamoto of Tokyo Sports has reported that Hiromu Takahashi has signed a new contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Breaking the news from outside NJPW Offices, Okamoto posted on social media that he attempted to get a word with the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, to little avail:

Takahashi’s response at the time was simply that he had, in fact, signed a contract.

The news comes after fellow NJPW mainstay Okada previously announced he was finishing up with the company after January 31, with a great deal of speculation on the Rainmaker’s future.
