Three top stars return at TNA Rebellion; Slammiversary is coming to Canada

Three top stars made their returns to TNA Wrestling at the company’s Rebellion pay-per-view on Saturday.

Mike Santana, who was previously in the company as a part of LAX with his former tag team partner Ortiz, was victorious in his return against Steve Maclin.

Santana recently left AEW after his contract expired.

Sami Callihan, who had left the company back on September 27, 2023 after his contract was up, made his return during the Knockouts World Title Match, taking out the Good Hands who attempted to help Step De Lander win the championship from Jordynne Grace.

And finally, “Broken” Matt Hardy is back in TNA Wrestling. The company did a lights out tease this past Thursday on social media and at the end of the Rebellion press conference.

Hardy’s contract with AEW recently expired. Hardy noted on a recent episode of his podcast, he was in talks with AEW and WWE, but made no mention of TNA Wrestling.

Hardy appeared after the end of Rebellion is his full “Broken” Matt Hardy character, singling out The System and holding up the Word Title after Moose retained over Nic Nemeth. Hardy owns the rights to the “Broken” character.

Despite his appearance, Hardy to fans on social media, he is still a free agent and will appear when he wants.

TNA Slammiversary is coming to Canada

During Saturday night’s Rebellion, TNA Wrestling announced that Slammiversary is headed to the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, QC on Saturday, July 20.
