Public documents reveal monetary incentives WWE received for WM 42

According to public records obtained by POST Wrestling, WWE received a $6 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for WrestleMania 42. This is $1 million more than the site fee received for last year’s event.

In addition to the $6 million, WWE also received a tax credit of $4,314,821 tax credit approval from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, which brings the total amount to around $10 million in financial incentives. It was added that as their application for the tax credit, WWE stated they expected to spend just over $35 million on the WrestleMania events and Raw and SmackDown, which took place at T-Mobile Arena.

POST Wrestling further notes the $6 million fee, which was termed as a “sponsor fee” in the contract, includes WrestleMania 42, a guarantee of a minimum of up to 300,000 square feet of convention space for WWE World and Superstore. WWE also agreed to display LVCVA’s logo and name on media advertisements and allow the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to participate in press conferences and other promotional events. Furthermore, POST Wrestling states the terms also included a suite at Allegiant Stadium for each night of WrestleMania, 40 lower-level section tickets, 10 tickets for each day of WWE World, and 20 tickets for lower-level sections for SmackDown, NXT, and Raw.
