The New Day are the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (New Day) defeated War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) at WrestleMania 41 Saturday, to become the new champions.
Below is an excerpt from Roy Nemer’s WrestleMania 41 recap of how the titles changed hands.
Woods and Erik are tagged in and both men exchange kicks. Woods goes for the honor roll but Erik grabs him in a full nelson and he lands a knee to the face. In comes Ivar but in comes Kofi. Erik with a right hand onto Kofi. They go for the War Machine but Kofi trips Ivar up and Kofi throws Erik to the outside. Woods is tagged in and he lands a double stomp onto Ivar. He goes for the cover and Kofi holds down Ivar’s foot and they get the pin!
