Ric Flair announced on social media that he would no longer be able to appear at the upcoming Atlanta Comic Convention, citing “personal and health related issues” and thanking fans for their understanding and appreciation.
This comes after the WWE Hall of Famer went public last month with news that he is battling skin cancer (melanoma) and would be undergoing treatment, as well as asking for moral support for an undisclosed surgery coming up.
Flair, who appeared on AEW Collision Beach Break in May to honor the late Steve McMichael, was also forced to miss a personal appearance in June after doctors advised him not to travel due to his health issues.
