Brie Bella and the returning Paige are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Brie and Paige captured the titles in a fatal four-way at Saturday’s WrestleMania 42. This is the first time in eight years Paige has been in WWE.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s WrestleMania 42 Night One recap of how the title change went down.
Former teammates and rivals Paige and Flair square off to a nice ovation. They go back and forth with forearm shots before Flair chops her down. Flair goes for a Figure Four, but Paige rolls her up for a two-count. Flair quickly hits Natural Selection and tags Bliss in. Nikki Bella pulls Flair out of the ring and smashes her with her crutch. Flair yells, “Oh shit!” Paige gets her knees up to counter Twisted Bliss. Paige hits the RamPaige for the win!
