WWE reportedly planning ‘Wrestlepalooza’ PLE same day as AEW’s All Out, could air on ESPN

As first reported by WrestleVotes and then several other media outlets, the PLE WWE is planning to hold Saturday, September 20 will be called ‘Wrestlepalooza.’ This is the same day as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view which takes place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

‘Wrestlepalooza’ was the same name for a series of ECW events the promotion did between 1995 and 2000.

Previous reports have indicated the September 20 premium live event is planned to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, most likely at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, which has been the home to many WWE events. Furthermore, some of the same reports have indicated this would be PLE that will see John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.

According to a report from PWInsider on Sunday, there has been discussion within the broadcast industry over the last few days ‘Wrestlepalooza’ could end up being an extra event that would air on ESPN as a preview for the new partnership between entities that starts in April 2026.

PWInsider further notes, there is no current premium live event scheduled to air on Peacock in September and that they (PWInsider), were told WWE plans to reveal the new PLE event and where it will air.

At the time of PWInsider’s report, ESPN declined to comment and WWE was reached out to for comment, but did not respond.
