AJ Styles shared a picture on social media that has many speculating the WWE Champion is hinting at his future in professional wrestling.
The post consists of an hourglass containing a fading image of his “P1” logo, which appears to be turning to dust at the bottom, an image that may be suggesting the Phenomenal One is considering retirement upon the end of his WWE deal.
Reports in July noted that Styles had signed a year-long contract extension with WWE, after an injury had kept him sidelined as his previous deal was coming to a close in 2024.
That deal, signed in 2019, was noted by Styles as being the last professional wrestling contract he’d ever signed.
Should AJ Styles be finished with the business in the coming year, it would bring a wrestling career of over twenty years to a close, with roughly half of it spent in WWE since his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble.
