Ridge Holland posted a statement on social media, addressing the concerns raised by his WWE contract not being renewed.
Noting the difficulty in paying his mortgage, the former NXT Tag Team Champion added:
I feel like I’ve just been hung out to dry after getting injured working for another company on behalf of WWE. Add to that my contract not being renewed knowing that I wouldn’t be able to wrestle for 7 months. This is brutal.
Holland, who sustained an injury during a dark match at the 9/27 TNA IMPACT tapings, acknowledged that WWE was taking care of the surgery and physical therapy, but stated that it was “the bare minimum after what we sacrifice for the company.”
Holland previously revealed that his deal with WWE would come to an end on November 14.
