PWInsider has reported that Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize were backstage in Houston for AEW Collision on November 8, but walked out due to a booking decision to put over Tay Melo and Anna Jay.
The duo, who left the taping an hour before bell time, were replaced by Hyan and Maya World.
Alize posted on social media that she and Newell, formerly Tegan Nox, have “SOOOOOOOO much to say” and reposted comments about the pair needing credible wins.

Despite speculation that the pair simply refused to lose the match, Fightful Select reported that Alize and Newell wanted more time than was scheduled, being told that the times had been set and could not be changed.
The apparent incident comes one week after Alize and Newell lost to Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir in their in-ring debut for the company, with Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline citing that there were issues last week and people were surprised the pair were brought back.
The duo is not believed to be under contracts with AEW, according to all reports involved.
