Fightful Select has published some backstage news following AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts that aired live on Wednesday from the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
-According to one AEW source, Jamie Hayter “got a little banged up” during the Women’s Blood & Guts match and may have chipped several teeth during the match. The same AEW source described Hayter as being “as bad a– as you would expect,” given how hard-hitting the match turned out to be.
-Skye Blue, despite significant blood loss was said to be okay after the match.
-There were no serious injuries to Hangman Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs as a result of their Falls Count Anywhere Match. Both men are said to be fine, with everything going as planned.
-Because there were only three matches on Wednesday’s 2.5 hour special, fewer talent than usual traveled in for the show. AEW is airing another live episode of Collision this week, as the show will emanate from the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Below are some highlights from Wednesday’s Blood & Guts.
